Physical Description: Adric has thick hair, and gained his red hair from his father. So he has a mixture of orange highlights and chocolate colored hair. He usually keeps them in corn rolls, since he lets his hair grow out and it usually results in an afro. He finds it is much more manageable in rolls, and more comfortable when he plays Quidditch.

He also inherited his father’s beak-shaped nose, strong jawline, hazel eyes, and tall figure; but his olive skin tone comes from his mother’s side of the family and usually tans due to his playing Quidditch all the time. He is tall and burly, traits from his father, usually walking with his shoulders back and sometimes hunched over, to look down at those speaking to him.

His clothing consists of jeans, and a few t-shirts, although he owns a few nice, medium-length, trenchcoats and flannel button-down shirts.

He speaks with a deep booming voice, with a stern Jamaican patois accent, sometimes even speaking with words of the language.

Personality Description: Adric is mature and responsible, when he isn’t on a Quidditch field. He is very loud when he is a Keeper, and takes silent joy in the game when he is a beater, able to communicate his  boisterous personality by singling out other players and bashing them with a bludger. It is a leftover habit from his younger days with his siblings, when he would fight and bicker with them constantly, especially when their parents tried to divert their aggression into being competitive. It wasn’t until he played Quidditch at Hogwarts that the game provided enough of an outlet for him, that he calmed down, and became more reserved.

Adric loves his family, especially his siblings. Even though he had the habit of beating them up until they were in the hospital (with them returning the favor,) for them, it was tough love. They would eventually laugh about it after each episode was over. This also gave each sibling a tendency to lash out at others, through tricks, spells, or punches, without any warning. It became habitual for them to settle their qualms with others with fists or wands, rather than a battle of witty comebacks or remarks, and they developed a reputation for twisting an old phrase, known for being the children who would bite before they barked. With Adric being the calmest of the bunch, his body language nor facial expression give a warning to anyone who he may intend to spite, whether it be an immediate or a prolonged reaction. However, he is also the one least likely to react, unless he’s on the Quidditch field.

He’s very casual and carefree, but isn’t fond of clubs or parties and is not actively looking for a relationship. He makes light conversation with woman, but he his reserved and formal, and never doing anything particularly wild—however he is a thrillseeker, easily bored and looking for something to do.

History: Adric is the oldest of five sibilings, however lacked many negotiation skills when he was younger, and so when his other siblings started to arrive, there were no negotiations skills, and most of their disagreements consisted of fist fights. Once the last two siblings arrived and became old enough to have an active participation in fights, they quickly learned that they were no match for their three older brothers, and since they were not forced to live in the Afamdi ways of hiding their magic, they quickly resorted to hexes, curses, and spells to win fights. Eventually, Adric learned defensive spells to keep his siblings in line, but their endeavors to beat each other just escalated until their fights usually consisted of dueling and messy physical fights and ended at St. Mungos.

Even after Adric left for his first year at Hogwarts, the children continued fighting, but Adric was excited to return home with a plethora of knowledge from the school, especially the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. While he exhibited traits of a resourceful Sytherin and a bold and reckless Gryffindor, his loyalties he felt towards his family and brash behavior sorted him into Gryffindor. However, the first year he attended Hogwarts was strict, and he learned nothing from the DADA class. In fact, he didn’t pay much attention at all, and skipped classes to go find a place to study on his own. He stole creatures from the Care of Magical Creatures class to practice on, and even others’ pets. He made average marks, because he could past the tests, but otherwise he was an un-noteworthy student.

To console his son the next summer, and to stop their children from bickering so much Torquil and Delilah bought five broomsticks and Quidditch equipment, for the siblings to play Quidditch with all summer. As they grew to love the game, their fights settled for a while, until everyone decided they would forget about the quaffle and try to knock each other off their brooms with the bludgers. The miniature, abused, and possessed cannons were usually confiscated for weeks at a time, after this, until they played the game properly.

The next year at Hogwarts, wasn’t much better for Adric, but he had an owl familiar with him that kept him company and his own broom. He tried out for the Quidditch team, but didn’t make it, so he  stole some of their equipment and began batting bludgers around on his own and practiced magic on his owl, while skipping classes. It was also the year the Weasley brothers left in a shower of pranks, and Adric took after them and the rest of the unruly students by practicing hexes, jinxes, curses and practical jokes on others.

The next year, he attended school with his brother Booker, and it wasn’t a great time for them. Instead of act out against the authority to risk a cruciactis curse, they frequently ran off to the outskirts of Hogsmeade, and beat bludgers around in the caves or cast spells on each other, almost never attending classes, but still passing their tests. After Christmas, the brother’s learned that they may be punished soon, if they began to skip any more classes. Rather than stay at the school, they became permanent residents of the caves outside of Hogsmeade, where they played, practiced magic, and stole food from the wizarding village. Eventually, their trips to get food became less frequent, and their use of magic and playing any form of Quidditch altogether ceased as more and more Death Eater’s stalked the village, and the brothers almost starved for fear of being taken back to school.

Once the Battle of Hogwarts began, and Hogsmeade was being attacked, the two boys feared they might be flushed out, or that someone might go looking for them. They made reckless return to the Hog’s Head. They batted the only two bludgers they had towards a group dueling wizards and Death Eaters. The boys then took a leap of faith, hoping they provided enough of a distraction, mounted their brooms, hovering barely a two feet off the ground, and made a mad dash to the Hog’s Head, crashing through the windows, shattering their brooms, and suffering some minor concussions. A few professors rounded the boys up into safety with the other students escaping the school, and were recruited as the beaters for Gryffindor, their next school year.

The boys’ fighting with their siblings, however, continued to escalate. They would enjoy themselves by actually playing the game for a while, before someone would make a foul or cheat, which is when they proceeded with their normal routine of bludger bashing, and spent some time being healed by their mother. Whether it was while playing Quidditch, dueling, or fighting over the last piece of (food) on the table—the siblings still fought, and they landed each other in St Mungo’s at least five times a month, often still trying to finish their fights upon arriving at the hospital.

Due to his brutal fights with his brother’s and sister, Adric became a prized as a beater, as well as Booker. Adric was noted for his right arm being broken by a bludger, only to tie his arm to his broom and play with his left arm for the remainder of the game. He was commended for being a beater who could take a painful blow from a bludger as well one who could dish another one out.

Soon, the main keeper graduated and everyone thought it would be interesting to have Adric as a goalie, and his brother became the main Beater. He was surprisingly good at position, and was known for his great blocking and toughness, aided by his massive height, becoming 6’4” by his 7th year, and thick body build.  Other teams usually depended on their Seekers catching the snitch to win the game, because of how well he blocked. He was scouted and signed on as a full-time professional Quidditch player after he graduated.

His skills as a Keeper, also changed his personality. He became more defensive with his family, less inclined to instigate fights even if he had to take a hit in order to stop his siblings fighting. Their fights eventually became few and far between, or devolved into pranks. They had a few outbursts but weren’t rushed to St. Mungos all the time like they used to be.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Adric is tough, reserved, and carefree. He cares most about his siblings, and considers his career as a Quidditch player relaxing. He is not actively looking for a relationship, and is usually very formal when dealing with women. His favorite position is a beater, however he excels so much at a Keeper that he is often assigned that position. He hopes that he can set an example for his siblings, as well. Even though he may seem fairly strict, he enjoys pranks or jokes.
