A smile and a handshake? Maggie could take that. After the tense interview, she was glad there weren't too many hard feelings between them. She didn't enjoy upsetting people... most of the time. In this case, however, she felt sorry for the woman because she seemed so clueless. And if she could admit it to herself, she also related to her situation - being in limbo and not knowing how to get out of it.
"Yeah, sure," she nodded and smiled back, waiting for Lexus to write something down on a piece of parchment. Maybe it was Jonas' address? Or cell phone number? Hope flared, and then got snuffed out when she glanced at the paper to find Lexus' information. Ah well. This still had its uses.
"Thanks," she said, amused by the story of the owls. "Don't worry. I know how to use a telephone."
It could have been said sarcastically, but she stated it as fact. The majority of witches and wizards just mashed at the numbers or held the receiver on top of their heads and expected it to work.
"Anyway, I'll let you know if I hear anything come up," Maggie opened the door, then paused when she saw the camera move to blink at her.
"Have you had any break-ins lately?" she glanced over her shoulder at the woman. "Nevermind. I'll leave you alone now," Maggie grinned. All in all, she was happy she'd found Trevelyan's office and even happier that Lexus had given her so much information. Even if she couldn't use it right away.
"See you later!" And with that, the door shut behind her.
