Physical Description:
Coloration wise she's basically identical to her father with light auburn hair; pale creamy brown skin, much like the color of an iced coffee; and bright blue eyes. Fit, curvy and quite busty, she strongly resembles her mother at her age, both in body and facial features. 
 
She normally wears her long, hip length hair down or pulled back in a braid or loose bun, and always tries to appear well groomed.  Her clothing style could be best described as girly but practical with hints of bohemian style fashion. On the weekends and at home she is commonly found in loose tops and fashion tees with a skirt and either leggings or thigh high stockings with flats. If she does wear pants or shorts they tend to be very feminine in cut and ornamentation. Lately she's taken to wearing vintage and rockabilly styled dresses, much to her father's consternation. Her ears are pierced and she normally wears either hoops or studs.

Personality Description:
When she was younger she was quite snobby and irritable, however recent events showed her in a way she couldn't ignore how much of a negative impact those behaviors have been having on her life.  For the first time she's trying to change for reasons other than her Daddy's disapproval. It's slow going, but she's making progress.

Having just broken up with her first boyfriend, Cyhirae is no longer the naive, in-love-with-love girl she was less than a year ago. She's still flirty but now aware and confidant in her appearance and appeal thanks to her relationship with her now ex boyfriend Ambrose.  She's found she enjoys being part of a couple, but since she's still dealing with emotions from the decline and recent end of her first relationship she doesn't feel quite ready to put herself back on the market.

Not above manipulation to get her way, she never the less always strives to do what she feels is right. She never actively tries to be a teacher's pet but she prefers to be on good terms with them. She’s at the age where she is actively rebelling against her father, much to his horror, but she and Georgiana are the only ones allowed to treat him that way. Anyone else gets exposed to the full wrath of daddy’s baby girl.

History: Cyhirae was born to Tapendra and Judy Trishna  with nothing much more exciting happening than Tapendra being thrown out of the delivery room to wear down a path outside with his worrying.   Her early childhood was utterly unremarkable for a child of two wizards who were far from ordinary themselves, and while technically being an only child, she was raised with her aunt Georgiana like a sister. The sudden death of her mother and her father's subsequent fall into depression at age eight forced her to mature quickly.  Tapendra started to improve after the three of them  moved in with the Whites, though none of them have ever fully gotten over Judy's death.

Cyhirae never knew her grandparents on either side of the family, her paternal grandmother taking off for parts unknown and her father having cut off all ties to his father. Her maternal grandparents, or rather her grandfather, had disowned her mother for marrying her father. Filling in for the lack of grandparents was George White, the father of Tapendra's best friend, Ryan. Due to the lack of blood relatives, Tapendra surrounded himself with close friends who were more like family to him and this later extended to their children. In fact, of the people Cyhirae designates Uncle or Aunt, only Simon Greenburg is blood related to her.

Living at the Whites allowed for Cy to become a child again as the majority of caring for the mental state of her father was lifted from Georgiana and her shoulders by their family friends. It was during this point in her life that the bonds between her extended family deepened and she formed close a childhood bond with Jason White (which later dissolved as the two of them went into the boys/girls are icky stage).

A few months after Georgiana had started at Hogwarts, Tapendra, finally feeling mentally strong enough, moved himself and Cyhirae (and Georgiana by proxy) out of the White home and into their own just a few houses down. This suited Cyhirae just fine as she Jason had been doing nothing but fighting since Georgiana had left. About a year later Cyhirae got her first familiar from her neighbor whose cat had a litter of Abyssinian kittens. She named her Gliese  (pronounced Gleesa) after the extra solar planet that was discovered earlier that year, and, as most things go with children and small animals, they were inseparable afterwards.

Two years later Cyhirae started her first year at Hogwarts. The experience caused quite a bit of culture shock for the first several months, having lived like a muggle for almost all of her life. She eventually got over it, although it took a while, and excelled in all of her classes like a good little Ravenclaw. In her second year she became close friends with Winifred Oliver, bonding over a shared love of cute boys, muggle stuff, and cheesy romance novels.
 
Starting in her third year her father joined the staff of Hogwarts as the new Astronomy professor and then, several months later, became her head of house. Initially excited that her father was joining them at school she soon shared Georgiana's irritation when she found her father's  presence had a negative impact on her love life. It turned out to be a rather exciting year. Werewolf attacks, meeting her grandmother, finding out that said grandmother was/is in a relationship with her DADA professor.

With the OWLs closing in, Cyhirae is trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. She has eliminated many jobs, most in the wizarding world, but has no idea what she would want to do. While recent events have made her more inclined to leave the wizarding world behind once she graduates, it still doesn't narrow down her options all that much.


How Do You Fit Into Your House?: For Cyhirae learning is something that comes naturally, and she has the passion and the inability to accept anything less than a top grade, to make up for doesn't. Even her desire for a boyfriend won’t stop her from getting the best grades she can.

Gliese (pronounced Gleeza)

Personality: Gliese  is very much a typical, if  smarter than normal, Abyssinian cat. She is extremely extroverted, friendly and playful, she'll even play fetch, although only with Cyhirae, and loves to play 'chase the swishy thing' and 'hide the catnip mouse' with whomever she can get to play with her. She also needs to be near people, even if they aren't interacting with her and will hang out with anyone in the common room or, if no one is in the tower, she will seek out Cyhirae (or any other Ravenclaw if Cyhirae isn't easily found) in whatever class she's currently in (she'll actively avoid the DADA classrooms though).

History: Gliesa was one of six kittens born to the Trishna's neighbor's cat. Cyhirae was instantly smitten when she saw the kittens, and after much begging and pleading her father allowed her to adopt one. The two of them have a very strong bond and, if given the opportunity, Glisse would follow Cy everywhere. When Cyhirae went to Hogwarts Gliese naturally came along for the ride. When Tapendra came to Hogwarts to teach, Gliese was just as happy as her mistress as not only was her second favorite person coming to the school but her favorite being to torment was coming to (Kepler).

About the name: The specific extra solar planet Gliese is named after is Gliese 581 b, the first discovered planet orbiting the red dwarf star Gliese 581. It was discovered a week before Cyhirae adopted her, though not formaly announced until a couple of months later. The planet is estimated to be about the size of Neptune, and at the time was one of the smallest planets discovered.

Why do you wish to change these area(s): I was having a lot of trouble playing her at the correct age (either too young or to old, mostly too young) and ageing her up would take care of that problem.
