I have written multiple drafts of this letter thus far, and I am certain that I will not be happy with this one. But something must be sent if I am to move forward with my life and salvage what is left of the financial stability of O Morain Farms. My cousin, Lothario d'Aubigne suggested that I send my current request to you- and I sincerely hope that you would be able to help me.

This first note shall be short, and we can discuss details in depth further after I discover whether or not you have any interest in my proposition. I am a woman of great wealth, and am willing to pay top coin for your aid in locating for me a specific type of item. Lothario assures me that you are able to find anything, regardless of the rarity of the item or the risk involved.

Before I divulge any further details, I would like a return owl indicating whether or not you would have interest in hearing my proposition, and also what types of goods you deal in and where you draw the line. The items in question are of a questionable legal nature. If are disinterested in doing business with me, then please disregard this note and I shall bother you no further. (Although I cannot guarantee Lothario's continued business with you, should you deny his dearest cousin a simple favor that benefits yourself much more than it would ever benefit me considering the number of galleons involved in this acquisition.)

My cousin would not direct me to any of his contacts if he did not believe that I was capable of holding my end of a deal. Lothario would never compromise his reputation or his relationships with his associates- not even for a cousin.

I do agree that a meeting would be best. Are you familiar with Hogsmeade? There is a pub there called The Hogshead. That would be the best place to meet- it would offer privacy and is not under current ministry surveillance. Would it possible to meet there January 22nd around 3PM?

I will be certain to bring a substantial amount of coin with me, as well as some basic research I have already taken the liberty of doing.
