Physical Description:
Azorma is a tiny woman, standing at 5'0 and weighting in at 98 pounds. She is extremely bony in frame and has sharp, angular features. The overall impression is of a woman who has almost no soft lines on her body, and she helps this impression with her usual stance, which is ram-rod stiff and controlled. When she moves she moves with the calculated grace of a person who is in control and comfortable in their own skin.

She has piercing blue eyes, which blaze out from her head, contrasted by her extremely dark African skin. Her black hair is chopped into an angular cut and usually bunned behind her head; when let down it reaches her knees.  She has a persistent cough, and often smells of cigars, which she chain-smokes when given the opportunity. Her voice is raspy and usually clipped, she small mouth curved into a frown. She's a beautiful woman and uses her powers to always appear young; her actual face is wrinkled from stress.

She prefers stylish but practical clothing, favoring open-chest sweaters and tight but flexible jeans. She can be found to wear heels and boots. She is relatively muscular and moves very quickly and agilely for her age. On her chest she bears the word 'pure blood' written in hieroglyphs and her sweaters are open enough in the front to show it. That is, when she appears as Azorma...

As a metamorph, she is rarely found in her base form, preferring to travel as a variety of different people. She has 3 disguises she uses most often in England, and her 'friends' can often identify her via them.


1.  Mrs. Marian Makepiece (Agony Aunt)
Mrs. Makepiece is a small, pale and hunched over woman who clutches her suspiciously nasty looking walking stick like a life line. Her round and soft face is wrinkled enough to look like a melted candle and she can often be found wearing an offensively over decorated hat, usually stuffed with fake flowers and fruit. Her white hair is strapped in a regulation bun, and she plasters on makeup like wall paper. She has a scowling, fearsome expression that reminds any onlooker of a mother-in-law from the mouth of hell.

She can be found frequently making her way into bars and smacking people until they get her scotch just right. She then lights up and smokes everyone else out of the bar.

As an Agony Aunt, she seems to have misunderstood the term. When asked for advice she will often dispense it, and then smack the asker with her walking stick for being a 'whore'.


2. Ian Killingrew
Ian is a small, spotty boy with too much energy for his small bony body to contain. He bounces on his toes and can be found wearing a foppish grin that speaks of trouble to be made. His mousy brown hair is curly and falls over his grey eyes. He wears overly large, rough knit sweats and hand-me-down jeans. 
He’s hardworking and will happily run errands for a spare bit of coin, and is often found flitting from shop to shop in Diagon and Knockturn Alley, throwing out the garbage for a bit of money. He also sometimes found doing errands for his ‘mum’, who no one has ever seen. He’s excited to be going to Hogwarts next year. It’s a pity he’s going that cough, really.


3. Mercy Stangewayes
Mercy is shy and her sense of fashion is decades behind. Wearing a bellbottom jumpsuit, summer dresses and sometimes overalls, she’s often found with flowers in her long blonde hair. She’s young and pretty and makes very interestingly ‘magically augmented’ food. She can’t seem to hold down a job and is clumsy, often knocking over tables and glassware. She haunts Diagon Alley as well, trying to make her way in life and not really succeeding.


Personality Description:
 Azorma is prideful to the extreme, her pride forming a barrier to harbor her shattered mind. She finds it extremely hard to admit fault, and hell will freeze over before she’ll apologize to anyone for anything she says or does.

She is in control of her emotions and it shows in her body language; she is restrained and cold and her aura enters rooms before she does. Still, she’s learned to be a very good actor to survive as she does, and can summon quite convincing performances despite her normal mood.

Called by some a blood knight, she enjoys the thrill and rush of battle and chasing her targets or escaping her pursuers. She’ll attack muggles when the opportunity calls, but as she prefers targets that fight back, she rarely does this. However, she blames muggles in general for the turn her life has taken, and so her pureblood feelings towards them burn strongly.

She takes pride in being a pureblood and pride in her family despite having killed them. She has little empathy for others, but is not incapable of camaraderie; she admires a job well done and does not consider it polite to not compliment others when they do well. She is willing to listen to and reassure others if they need it, though her reassurance is usually curt and blunt.

The only person she truly cares about is her son, Tapendra, who she has no desire to see again or involve in her violent lifestyle. She has been betrayed enough in her life and is not fully trusting of anyone. This isn’t to say she wouldn’t open up, but it would take a lot of prying.

She gets a job done when she starts it and is always on time, and gets very annoyed when people do not show up on time.


History
Birth & Schooling (1954 – 1972)
Born in Kairo Egypt, Azorma’s birth name was Atalana. She was the eldest daughter of the Kanika clan, an ancient pureblood Egyptian family who carried the Metamorph powers in their bloodline. She was the only of her siblings to be born with the power, however.

She was well-educated and raised in a strict household, which she feels was appropriate. She was close to her father and no one else in her family, and her father emphasized control and pride over emotion and humility. She still firmly believes in his teachings.

Attending the Temple of Set – which her family had some control over – kept the feelings of privilege and control active in her life. Her schooling was strict and covered a broader range of subjects than one might expect, but due to the school’s restricted student group (only those of pure blood where allowed) she learned little of muggles and their world. She excelled in most of her spellwork courses and took a definite shine to the darker arts, which aren’t frowned on quite as much by her family.

At the age of 18, she was arranged to marry, and she agreed to the match as her ‘duty’. She was married to Abid Addul, but declined to take his last name. The two got along, but the match was businesslike for the most part. Addul was an official in the Egyptian Ministry, and when she was 20 she travelled with him to England on a several year long stay.

Stay in England (1974 – 1976)
During this period, her husband’s business forced her t partake in selective bits of the muggle world. It was on one of these brief excursions she first encountered  Benjamin Wright, a younger muggle. Ben, then 16, took a shining to her, and she liked him in return. After about 6 months of a secret friendship, the two of them entered into an affair based primarily on lust.

She enjoyed the fling, excited mostly by the secrecy and danger of it, but when she became pregnant did not suspect Benjamin was the father. Both she and her family assumed the child was Addul’s - until Tapendra was born, bearing his father’s auburn hair.

After Tapendra’s birth the whole affair was revealed, and Atalana was shamed and cast out of her family. Left behind in England with no money and an infant son, she dined out on her story and magical skills to any of the purebloods who would house her. Still, her grating attitude often made her wear out her welcome and so she had to move often.

Nomadic Life (1976-1988)
She did her best to stay with those whom she felt were the ‘right’ crowd: rish, often snobbish purebloods. Many ofthese friends encouraged her to be rid of her son, ut she refused – despite the drama of his brth and her shame from it, she did come to love her tiny son. She often turned a blind eye to any flak he was given aout his parentage, however, and occationally gave him some herself.

Benjamin often tracked her down and attempted to reconcile her, or at least get a chance to see his son; she would have none of it and sent him away time and again. After years of this, she finally grew sick of it, and in 1988 hit him with a memory charm that rendered him comatose for several months and forced him to forgot not only the affair and his son, but the previous 10 years of his life.

She was arrested for the improper use of magic on a muggle, and was only saved from a sentence in Azkaban by a healthy bribe from an old friend of her father’s, Vedir Prideaux. Prideaux offered her a home and she accepted the offer, joining him at his large country estate.

Prideaux Estate (1989 – 1992)
She got on famously with the charming man, or at least felt she did, and when he offered her a home, she moved quickly to take up residence in his expansive estate. Enjoying herself for the first time in years, she took to spending much of his money on flippant desires.

The two struck up a relationship and became lovers some months later, she feeling willing to engage in another out of wedlock affair if it was with a man of such breeding (and wealth).

Sadly for her, she had no inkling that he had been out to ruin her from the start; a promise he had made to her father after her court case came to light. Atalana, unwilling to look at Vedir for what he was, ignored all signs to the contrary. This stubborn ignorance only intensified when she found herself pregnant again; she rebuked Tapendra several times for speaking ill of their host.

 Unknowst to her,  Vedir had propositioned her son without her knowledge – torturing the boy to keep him quiet when this attempt failed. With Tapendra a dead end, Vedir searched out Benjamin and took him as a partner. It was when she discovered  this was not only the plan from the beginning, but had been requested by her father, that she snapped. Georgiana was born only days before she was made aware of the truth; leaving both of her children with Prideaux, she fled England in a rage, vanishing.

Criminal Years (1992-2009)
Her first order of business was to revenge herself against her father; she did this by sneaking in to the home in the form of one of the servants and killing the whole lot of her family. Uncaught for the crime, she carefully bribed and allied her way out and found herself the inheritor of her family’s possessions and fortune.

That night brought out something in her she had not expected; the killings had been the most fun she’d ever had. Discovering she enjoyed the power and rush in the hunt and chase, she took up work as a hitwizard and thief, travelling all over the world to ply her trade.

She’s spent the past 20 years or so making a name for herself, having recently returned to England due to the chaos brewing there being a good opportunity to make money. And there’s a man she wouldn’t mind polishing off…

Italy (1994-97) (Longer description coming.) Joined the criminal underworld, working as an assassin. Met and swiftly became the partner and lover of Ignan Storm, the two of them driving each other into darker acts of murder. In 1997 the two were offered a job; Azorma smelled a rat and told Ignan he should not take the work, but he ignored her warnings, taking up the task. It was a trap; he slaughtered several innocent Aurors and was set upon by the law forces of Italy. Azorma attempted to save him, switching their wands and attacking the law officers herself. Ignan only fled a short distance, before returning to the fray to assist her. The two were defeated; Azorma managed to escape, but Ignan wasn't so lucky. Captured, his memories were forcedly taken, leaving his memory of the event permanently damaged; he believed her dead. The information the Ministry retrieved upset the whole organisation for which they worked, forcing Azorma to flee.
