Physical Description: Fir spent most of his childhood being a little on the short side for a boy and slender enough he could pull of a Jack Skelington costume. He's had a growth spurt since then and is now 5'10" not super tall but almost a half a foot from where he was. He can still pull of the Jack Skelington costume. His eyes are green, but he likes to change them up with colored contacts (he doesn't need vision correction, he just likes being able to change his eye color). He is a natural medium brunette, which he has grown long and dyed black, artfully arranged in a strange cross between spikes and lion's mane.

Fir's genes made him an androgynous pretty-boy growing up, and he hasn't grown out of that into adulthood. It doesn't help matters that he lives by the idea of "if you got it, flaunt it" and wears cosmetics, outlining his soft green eyes donning form fitting clothing that enhances his figure. He does draw the line at skirts and lipstick (unless of course, he's purposely playing cross-dresser) for his everyday wear.

Despite a quirky fashion sense toward the strange, the most constant thing about Fir's look (even more than insanely styled hair) is a friendly, disarming grin.

Personality Description: Fir is very outgoing and eager to make friends and network his own perceived awesomeness. Easily bored, Fir is not one of those people that can stay at home all day. He has to go somewhere, do something, meet up with someone. He has to be constantly moving. The best thing about Fir is that he never takes anything seriously. Insults and bad times just seem to roll right off him and he's back on his happy feet. The worst thing about Fir is that he never takes anything seriously.

Rules weren't so much made to be broken as they were made to be pointless. The impact of real consequences seems to elude him. Planning for the future? Pffft. Not when he can have the time of his life now. He's a trickster and a tease and loves to flirt with both genders and pull of a few jokes at someone else's expense (they're mostly harmless). Fir can be quick to anger as well as to laugh, and though he can usually shrug it off, on the (very) rare occasions that he has a grudge to hold, he can hold it long and well.

For his friends, however, besides being comic relief, Fir has got a big and loyal heart as well as an unnervingly good natural ability to read people. He can be very empathetic and sensitive. But don't tell anyone. You'll ruin his rep.

History: Fir jokes that he single handedly persuaded his parents that they should never have anymore children. He just might right (at least partially). Fir's parents embraced the hippie ideas of reconnecting with nature sand helping the world find peace, and they started this quest by naming their only child after a tree. Fir has never fully forgave them.

Although he is technically a half-blood, Fir was raised in a primarily Muggle environment. His mother is a Muggle and his father a Squib. Mr Cuween ended up becoming an ER surgeon and his mother a medicinal researcher. Fir spent a lot of his childhood in a waiting room, where he bonded with Betty the Secretary. Much to his parents' dismay, Fir was a lot more interested in what the kids two classes above him were doing and pulling pranks then planting trees or recycling.

Instead of the problems of the world, Fir was interested in the problems of Fir- mainly becoming the cool kid on the block despite sharing his name with the most popular tree at Christmas. Before Fir received his acceptance letter, he was already aware of making weird crap happen and had already tried to control it (to better harness it on his rise to power), almost without his parents knowledge.

Once the letter came, though, all bets were off. If they knew what he was, why not show them exactly what 'wizard' meant? The underage magic restriction never quite got through Fir's head, even with all those lovely howling letters. His first year at Hogwarts he tried to convince everyone his name was James Bond, which worked fine until the Sorting Hat totally blew his cover.

On a positive side, now with a wand and instruction, Fir found he had an aptitude for magic. Wand work at least. All that potion and digging in the (ewwww) dirt was so not for him. But wand work? There was his calling. Well, that and sexually confusing his classmates (he was not, and still isn't above cross dressing and flirting with a guy just for amusement's sake).  Over the years (2) his interest in attractive men and women grew to match his love of magic. Almost. OWLs just about killed that fondness. Showing off to a panel was fun, but sitting down for how many hours to write on an exam? And he has to do it again this year? UG. On the plus side he's 17, so that means legality baby!

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Fir has always operated under a "See. Want. Get" policy. He won't outright bully to get something, but he will become 'buddies' to gain buddy borrowing privileges. Rules aren't  so much spitefully broken as gleefully ignored because they're just getting in the way. He is very interested in himself first. As Fir is a legend in his own mind, he is always seeking to enhance his legend and show is amazingness and awesometastiaty Those are so real words. Fir has decreed so.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Fir is Fir's number one fan, and no one delights in his own designs more than himself. He has few scruples and the rules he likes to live by are things like "don't knock it 'till you've tried it" and "if you got it, flaunt it."
