With the holidays coming to a close, and the Winter Festival finally ended, Chris found himself on the Hogwarts express heading back to Hogwarts. Nothing really interested him too much to attend the Winter Festival, so he spent his holiday with his family. So, he had been able to get away from the complexity of his education at Hogwarts for a while. But, now that he was returning, he would have to face the rest of the year.
Thankfully that reality wasn't setting in too fast. After all, there was still that train ride back. And then, Chris would have to continue struggling with his wand work. But, as far as he was concerned, he still had time to practice on that. As long as their first day back wasn't too strenuous, he should be fine.
Opening the door to one of the empty compartments, Chris sat down on a seat. Leaning backwards for a moment, he could tell that it would feel like a long trip back to Hogwarts. Opening up his trunk, he took out his Charms textbook, and opened up the book randomly to a spell, and began to read. Maybe he would even learn how to cast the random spell correctly!
