I trust you’re recovering nicely from your near death experience and not getting into too much trouble already. I will spare you the lectures about how you terrified your father and ought not be so hard on him. Frankly I think if we didn’t drive him crazy he’d never get out of bed. I know that he makes you crazy and right now, in your life the last thing you think you need is another person telling you what to do or who to be. So all I will say is, as your friend who loves you dearly and would rather not see you be fed to dragons it’s best not to lie to your father. He may be daft but he’s not an all ‘round idiot all the time. Now that that bit of unpleasantness is out of the way, how is my little monster doing? I believe I’m going to have to find another name for you! You nearly completely grown, I couldn’t believe it when I saw you. I assume there is a line of boys winding around the Gryffindor tower as we speak trying to get a moment of your time. Be gentle with them Gabby Darling. Academy boys often grow up to be far more handsome than these years would suggest. The mind does reel when confronted with it. After all your Divinations Professor went to school with Dazmond and I - and look at him…Well I should say, if he were taller and managed to fill out a bit. I’m sure some women must find him attractive. Not everyone wants a brute like your father - especially because most men who look like your father are utter bores. Where was I going with that train of thought? I’ve completely forgotten. Must put the vino aside form now on when I write you! Write back soon and tell me about all your misadventures. I promise not to go squealing to the Gestapo. Remember I adore you Monster Child. Skip to next post
