The Queen and The Knight: A Fairy Tale
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful Queen with skin as fair as alabaster stone and hair like spun gold. She looked like an angel sent from the Heavens, but she had a temper than was anything but angelic. She ruled her kingdom with a firm hand and was often quite mean to her subjects, but her beauty was bewitching and no one dared to defy her.
There was one of her subjects who was especially bewitched by the Queen. He was a noble knight who was the leader among her band of warriors. The Knight served as one of her most trusted counselors on all war related matters. For he was the brawniest man there was and could crush a man's skull with his bare hands. He kept her kingdom in line. Some people said that he was handsome and strong but cruel like an ogre.
Many thought that The Queen held The Knight in such high esteem that eventually they would fall in love and he would become her king. They looked quite lovely together and no one could deny that a union might make the kingdom all the stronger and them all the more powerful.
Unfortunately, there was a small complication that stood in the way of The Knight's romance to The Queen. Unbeknown-st to her, The Knight was withholding a secret from her in order to maintain her favor. He feared that if this secret were to be known, he would lose her forever. And, he also feared a fate worse than that. For the Queen could be vengeful when she was not happy.

OOC: Consider this Blake's rough draft of a fairy tale that will eventually find its way into the school's paper under the guise of a ghost writer.
