Located in the lovely London Borough of Richmond upon Thames' riverside suburb of Barens, #12 St.Mary's Grove is a two story 7 bedroom, 3 bath Victorian with a conservatory, carriage house and adjacent pasture. Full time residents include Duncan and Ramona Flickwick, Nana Flickwick, and on occasion Johnny Flickwick - as well as several furry and feathered friends]. The Flickwick Girls [Ruby, Cherise, and Sophie] spend the majority of the year at Hogwarts, but return every Winter and Summer holiday. When the girls are in residence #12 is turned into the fun spot of the season and the ample space is filled with friends, gossip, and laughter.

Animal Flickwicks!
It isn't much of a surprise that the Flickwicks are animal lovers is it? No I didn't really think so. Below are listed the ever growing number of animals that call #12 St. Mary's Grove home. Nana Flickwick is always bringing some stray or other home for nursing so the number does keep getting bigger!

Cornelius & Pennylope
The family owls are far more than simple mail delivery systems. The two lovely Barn Owls are Duncan's beloved babies. He pampers them endlessly. They are happiest when they're together but Pennylope spends most of the school year with The Girls at Hogwarts. She seems to enjoy this as Sophie also spoils her rotten [and subsequently she is getting a bit fat].


Gunner
Gunner is the second oldest family dog at the ripe old age of eight. He, like all the other animals is rather pampered. He is very much aware that his primary function is to offer comfort and retrieve things. When Sophie was little he would follow her absolutely everywhere and seems happiest when she is at home and showering him with attention.


Thor
Don't let his impressive size or powerful name fool you. Thor is both the biggest scardy dog and sweetheart on the planet. He dislikes any kind of tension and his feelings are very hurt if he's spoken to in a tone other than expressly gentle. He seems to want to make everyone happy. He is not aware, however, that he is such a large dog - actually quite a bit taller than Sophie when he stands on his hind legs. He is a bed/cover/pillow hog and Sophie often finds herself on the floor when he sleeps in her room.


Loki
Sophie will be the first one to tell you that Loki, at 13 years old, is still an ankle bitting devil dog - and definitely runs the show around #12. Gunner and Thor are both too sweet tempered to compete with this yappy little Scottie with a Napoleon complex. Ramona claims that really he's just a grumpy old man who can't stand the big barks of those whippersnappers. There is a bit of a playful "get your dog!" war that goes on between mother and daughter regularly.


Princess Daphne
The newest member of the Flickwick clan is a Westhie with a heart of gold and the only female of the furry bunch. She belongs officially to Nana Flickwick but seems to prefer the company of Duncan. She likes to chew things, like tubes of lipgloss - but the messes she makes are still easier than cleaning up after Thor.
