Wand:At the insistence of her wizarding father, her wand was to be bought abroad in his homeland of Belgium. As such, she inherited her grandmother's core of a Siren's vocal chord.
Physical Description: Above average height, at 5'9, Quinn is of a medium build; not the skinniest girl in the classroom but by no means fat or chubby. Womanly in the right places, Quinn is only bothered about her rather voluptuous thights. Whilst many a young gent has complimented this asset, she feels that they're a little too large and out of proportion.
Facially, Quinn is rather 'average' looking. Her hazel eyes are usually squinting or tired-looking, but there's always a perpetual spark. Come rain or shine, exhaustion or energy, there's always something welcoming, warm and active about her eyes. Her face is angular with a somewhat wide mouth and elongated nose, but there's something unconventionally attractive about Quinn. Upon first glance, nobody would describe her as 'pretty' or 'delicate looking', but there's just something about Quinn that draws people in. Whether's it's her charisma or nonchalant swagger, some boys seem to have a leaning towards the Gryffindor party girl. In regards to her looks and upkeep, Quinn is relatively uncaring, and this boyish approach probably adds to the aforementioned charm.
Her long blonde hair is untamed, elbow-length and naturally wavy; Quinn would never think of trimming it or paying a huge amount of attention. She loves the unkempt look, and Quinn can usually be seen brushing her long blonde locks out of her eyes whilst stomping along the corridors of Hogwarts.
Quinn's style has been described as 'Mick Jagger meets Sitting Bull' - an apt statement. Usually combining rugged denim shorts with cowboy boots and oversized t-shirts, Quinn likes to throw tonnes of glitter around her eyes with dollops of mascara, all in the hopes of becoming a 'trailer trash chic' queen. Glamorous dresses and high heels are a rarity for Quinn - she's all about slashed jeans, Indian feathers, gold chains and battered old boots.
Personality Description: In a word, Quinn is loud. Boisterous, charismatic and very, very loud, the Gryffindor girl is usually seen hanging with the boys, cracking a few jokes and cackling away in her somewhat husky voice. Usually considered a 'tomboy', Quinn has no time for prissy, self-absorbed girls and as such, has made many enemies within Hogwarts for her outspoken ways and carefree attitude.
Whilst many appreciate her outspoken manner, Quinn never thinks to dilute or tone down her personality in different occasions, and she's in party mode 24/7. This can irk some people who just want a bit of peace and quiet, and Quinn has to be told when silence is the better option.
Unsurprisingly, Quinn has a "love 'em and leave 'em" attitude to boys and if she's getting bored with an individual, she's more than happy to let the chap in question know. Unlike most girls however, a lot of Quinn's best friends (which are mainly boys) have been former flings or a heat-of-the-moment kiss in the dark, and she doesn't let previous feelings bother a friendship.
Friendly, charismatic and down-to-earth, Quinn is a party girl through and through, and as such, her academic career has failed somewhat. A thorn in most teachers' sides, many of the staff members at Hogwarts dislike Quinn - too many late assignments and backchat in class makes several very unhappy professors.
Despite her approachability and general friendliness, Quinn has her flaws. She's inherited a distinct stubborn streak from her father; it takes a lot for Quinn to swallow her pride and apologise. If it means compromising her own personality, Quinn is very reluctant to change and is extremely stuck in her ways. Her 'what you see is what you get' attitude also has its downfalls: Quinn has upset many friends and relatives before by saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, and she isn't a very good judge of certain situations.
Regardless of her flaws however, Quinn is fiercely loyal, ridiculously charismatic and the real life and soul of the party. If it's there to be enjoyed, Quinn will happily indulge, and she's many a person's 'token crazy friend' at the party, stood on the table dancing like a maniac.
History: An only child, Quinn was born a halfblood to Henry and Lynette McAvoy. Her father, although brought up in England from an early age, was born to a Muggle Irish father and a Belgian Pureblood mother, making him a true mixture of wizarding creed and colour. Loud, brash but endlessly warm and welcoming, Quinn has inherited many of her traits from her beloved father. Henry, something of the charming bachelor in his heyday, fell in love with his future Muggle wife at a nightclub in London during the 1980s, and the pair were married young. Despite an initial sense of financial struggle, Henry managed to secure a job as a Quidditch coach to the controversial Tutshill Tornadoes. Quinn's mother became a seamstress at a local London tailors.
Born in the fifth year of their fledgling marriage, Quinn was raised with the knowledge of magic, but since she showed no properties or talent herself, both Henry and Lynette were skeptical of their only child reaching Hogwarts. Choosing not to put pressure on their only child, they rarely discussed magic, and all three were surprised when Quinn was invited to attend England's leading wizarding school.
Since early childhood, Quinn had been a loud, confident and socially-robust little girl, and this self of sense had only developed into her teenage years. She was never focused upon schoolwork and as such, her grades were mediocre at best, yet her parents insist on letting her daughter choose her own path. With that in mind, Quinn has pretty much drifted into her final year of Hogwarts and she doesn't see why the party should stop. Looking for a career in Quidditch commentary (or just a professional party girl) Quinn has no intention of maturing or settling down.
How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Her determination, pride and sheer charisma landed Quinn in Gryffindor: where else would she go? Proudly following in her father's footsteps, she's always keen to raise the banner of the lion and is usually seen screaming for the Quidditch team from the stands like a Banshee.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: With a swagger to match Mick Jagger and the personality of a professional party girl, Quinn is everybody's favourite Cockney rudegirl. Loud, charismatic and endlessly welcoming, she's a proud Gryffindor and her brash ways have made her many friends, and an equal amount of enemies. Loyal to her friends and foul-mouthed to her rivals, Quinn is a vibrant character that puts enjoyment and exhilaration above all else.
