Physical Description: 6' 2” high, dark brown hair, deep brown eyes, muscular build, tattoos cover parts of his shoulder blades. Lukas likes to keep his facial hair well trimmed and maintained. His eyes often sport a deep purple beneathe from lack of sleep.

Personality Description:
High spirited, energetic, and impulsive. Lukas Quinn sometimes has trouble keeping himself reserved in the heat of the moment. He is quick on his feet but also quick to battle without thinking about the consequences of his actions thoroughly. Lukas can be very selfish and when things he is working towards or wants don't go his way he can be bitter and resentful. His impatience is one of his greatest draw backs and Lukas finds himself missing out on a lot of things because he couldn't wait for it to come to fruition. 

Doesn't shy away from adventure and work. His job is his top priority which is partly why his former girlfriend Kayla Adams split with him taking his son Jasper to live with her. He was away too much for her liking and he didn't make any effort to stay home more. Instead their aggravation became more and more intense causing the two to quarrel and Lukas began to drink heavily as a substitute for emotional release. Selfish, often thinks about himself before others when it comes to personal things. Tends to be very self centered and instead of branching out emotionally he keeps his feelings inside.

Had a bit of an episode after his girlfriend and son moved out where he went off the reservation for a bit. Spent much of his time avoiding the world and only checking in for work. They put him on a leave of absence until he could pull himself together. Jasper was only five when his parents split and couldn't understand why they had to go away. The resentment he felt from his perceived abandonment from his father is fuel to the fire of the pairs rocky relationship.

The stress of his relationship with his son Jasper can be a thorn in his side. Though he loves his son, the distance he shows him is a learned behavior. His father was distant with him and his father before that. So on and so forth. This was no different. He paid the tab but seemed to get very little out of the relationship. Lukas has since tried to make more of an effort to be involved in his only known child's life but has been rebuffed with his every move.

Lukas is a bundle of energy and loves to be involved in anything he can get his hands on. He loves to pull things apart and put them back together. If he didn't have a feeling inside of what he was meant for he might very well be an inventor of some sort. His grades however told him otherwise and he kept his nose in his books, his attention on his Quidditch team as a keeper.

Has a list of pet peeves ranging from people who chew with their mouths open, when people drag their feet while they walk and women with mouths too large for their face. Lukas also hates discussing business for long periods of time. He feels that his job is separate from his personal life though really when it comes to Lukas they are one in the same. He keeps much of the weight of the world on his shoulders often cutting people out when he is going through things and flying off the handle when his rage builds to the brink. This was a major problem after his break up with Morgana but he has since mellowed in that regard to where he can keep much of his emotions under control.

Lukas is a straight talking, straight shooting sort who doesn't like to play head games. If you don't like or appreciate him for who he is or who he has become he has little use for you. The only people he feels anything for are his family and his distant son(s).

History: Cynthia Evelyn Biven and Brady Marcus Quinn were social strangers until the day they were married. They hardly knew each other, and this was kept during much of their married life. Though Cynthia became accustom to his tantrums and mood swings, so much so she had started to see them coming before they struck. She spent much of her time locked away in the study of their large estate reading the different tomes held within the modest library.

As the good wife, Cynthia kept up appearances even going so far as to continue their outings and making it look like they were getting along like a happy blissful couple. In fact when a few months after their one year wedding anniversary Cynthia came to find she was pregnant with their first and little did they know only child.

Mixed feelings were what she felt when she found that her body would be changing to have the child of her cold and distant husband. When she grew larger than expected her husband hardly touched her often spending his evenings out. Though she couldn't prove it she was sure that her husband had a mistress. She spent much of the pregnancy walking about the house in a daze her mind wandering off elsewhere.

When their child was born, Cynthia could barely look at the little boy they named Lukas. Brady, who worked as a curse breaker, was gone for much of the time. This left Cynthia to care for a colicky baby boy. The silence was so brief that she lacked sleep and that caused her to distance herself from her son even farther. A nanny actually began to take care of Lukas. While Cynthia floated about the house in a mental cloud she seemed to never leave.

As the boy got older he learned more of what was expected of him by his strict father. Lukas was the child of Brady and was expected to behave properly, marry well, and gain a job someday. It was his father's desire to convey this by having him taught by tutors, and other staff. The nanny Gertrude, barely twenty years of age, who had taken to Lukas began to treat him as her own walking him through both the joys and pitfalls of his young life. She was one of the few people Brady wasn't cold with. In fact the two had a chemistry that wasn't lost on the disregarded mistress of the house. Cynthia continued to grow more and more aloof only rarely having moments of clarity that were more tragic when she broke off and vanished from Lukas's life again.

While growing up, Lukas was always getting into things. His father was critical of him, but he was proud of his sons accomplishments. Lukas has a talent for music which was something that made his father very pleased, and he made time in his busy schedule to make recitals of his son. The change in their relationship was noticeable the more his father praised his talents the more he wanted to feel that.

His desire to have his approval was strong. With his mother off in her own little world the craving to be attached to one person, even someone as strict and far away was eating at him. He did more than just play music, he could read books and devour the language. As smart as he was he wasn't terribly cautious and Lukas has a tendency to be a daredevil. His scrapes and mischief would get him in trouble but he had only hoped for more interaction with his only sane parent. Gertrude taught him love and affection he was never lacking for a mother figure but a boy needs his father growing up.

Two summers before his first year in Hogwarts, Cynthia disappeared from the home all together. Brady was forced to come home to make arrangements for his sons guardian while he was away, and it wasn't long before the nine year old found that his nanny was pregnant. It wasn't until the child was born that Lukas found out the baby was his half sister Beverly. Gertrude continued to take care of Lukas and moved from her small room in the back of the estate to the main bedroom which she now shared with Brady when he came home.

Gertrude however was not of pure blood status and Lukas's grandparents could not accept her as their sons life partner. Brady had his marriage to his former wife legally ended and began to seek out a new more suitable partner. Lukas started his first year and when summer came he had a new step-mother named Nora a heavy drinker but a good name with plenty of money. Gertrude was back to her old room and Beverly was moved into her own room raised as his father's child with all the tutors and learning aides that Lukas had received.

While in school Lukas was sorted in a house very suited to his study habits. All through his childhood Lukas excelled in the written word, loved to read and his greatest joy was reading about defensive spells. It was a secret desire of his to be a ministry worker someday like the ones he read about in his favorite books. Protecting those around him and being the hero. In a bid to gain his father's approval farther Lukas kept his nose to the grind stone making friends, and studying while still making time for practicing his violin and learning how to fly properly.

Eventually third year he made the house team gaining his father's approval, though it was laced with critiques on how to better his flight technique. Not only had he made the team but he also caught the attention of an equally spunky individual. Morgana Andrews was a chaser on his house team, and a constant sparring buddy when it came to wars of words and literature. The two didn't realize that they truly fancied one another until the beginning of their fourth year, and Lukas didn't get the clue to ask her out until the end of that year.

The relationship was well matched, and even became a plausible future commitment when their parents met the summer of their sixth year to discuss it. This was the time his mother came back into his life, from where she was. Carting about with her theories of where she had been and a lot of mumblings. She had finally cracked and no matter how much he had tried to hide her from his girlfriend's parents there was no stopping Cynthia from making a fool of him. Not only had the truth of his mother's departure become public but also the sister who had been passed off as Nora's at social events was revealed to be the nanny's. By the end of his seventh year the romance had been ended by her parents and Morgana was quickly married off to man with a more stable family.

Morgana was freshly married to Howard Lynch and the ink barely dry on the wedding certificate when she gave birth to a shockingly dark haired son, who looked nothing like his light haired mother or father. Though speculation has been made that the true father of Edward Lynch, born the winter of 1986, no one has dared breathe the very words which would shame both Morgana and her child.

With his future on the line, Lukas had his mother locked up in St. Mungo's for what he said was for her own good. Secretly he feels deep regret for doing so and visits her on a regular basis as she babbles incoherently of the life she never had. Her son, though he resents her for ignoring him as a child, when he grew older he just pitied her wondering what the life she wanted was that she never had a chance to have.

For the summer after his final year at Hogwarts, Lukas hung up his broom and traveled for a bit before settling down with an internship with the Ministry of magic. It took him several years of hard work before his dreams of being a hero became a reality and he found himself with the job he always wanted. The spring of 1990 Lukas became a full fledged Hit Wizard. No more did he need to follow the skirts and robes of his elders, he could be out on his own. His daredevil ways were some what a cause for concern by his supervisors, but he had the spirit and the drive they needed for someone to up hold the law. Lukas is not afraid to bend the rules if the ends justify the means and those who are innocent are safe and the guilty find their way to imprisonment.

That same year Lukas met up with a woman named Kayla Adams. She viewed him as a knight in shining armor and he liked that she was so impressed with him. Eventually the couple moved in with each other living in his flat outside of London. She became pregnant the following year and had their son Jasper in the summer of 1992. The couple had their ups and downs but when Lukas started to become more involved with his job and less interested in being at home with his girlfriend and child the troubled relationship became very rocky. So much so that when he was home they fought like cats and dogs. Jasper was worked up often when he saw his father and Lukas found himself withdrawn. It was history repeating itself all over again. Lukas's father was disappointed in the lack of proper marriage and worse with the child out of wedlock.

The tensions were so that when Jasper was only five, his mother packed him and her up and moved out of the flat. Frustrated by the whole situation Lukas threw himself into work ignoring the maintenance of his flat and eventually selling it to be rid of the bad memories. His son wanted little to do with him and his only refuge was work.

His father decided to move from Dublin closer to Egypt with his wife Nora who remained childless leaving Gertrude to fend for herself. Beverly works as a medi-witch at St. Mungo's and helps support her mother. Though they aren't terribly close, Lukas and his half sister do have some what of a bond in that they both care for her mother. When Lukas inherited the house, he gave Gertrude a small house on the edge of the estate to finally live on her own. Beverly visits often, and the bond between siblings has been growing some what over time.

During a routine bust, Lukas allowed his arrogance to get the best of him and he caught himself in a dangerous situation which almost took his life. Since then, Lukas had begun to take more time to himself even stepping back slightly and trying to contact his now fifteen year old son whom he was trying to gain a bond with. Jasper has been non-responsive despite the fact that his son never missed a payment or was short on money when it came to his needs.

Lukas still works for the ministry and keeps a flat in town in case he needs to stay closer than his Dublin estate.

What is your job description? How do you go about your job?
How did you get your current job? How does your past and abilities justify your current position?: Current Job – Hit Wizard. A job for only the very brightest and skilled wizard. To even hope to achieve this position one must first achieve five OWLs one of which must be in Defense Against the Dark Arts which happens to be a main component of the job. Once he gained his internship with the ministry and was accepted into the position he desired Lukas was grilled repeatedly on counter-curses and defensive charms. Their job is to avoid detection by muggles and to apprehend witches and wizards causing disruptions or committing crimes. The salary starts at 700 Galleons a month, a good broom is provided, and they have a personal bed always on reserve at St. Mungo's due to the danger they are constantly put into.

Every day that he is working he is either out in the field capturing criminals, casing potential areas of crime activity, filling out the proper paper work for his actions or doing general research on the current intended target. With his love for reading and his attention to detail this job is right up his alley. Thankfully there is a bed on reserve because due to his recklessness in his earlier years he had spent many a night there. Skills in school as well as determination made Lukas a prime candidate for his current position. Not only is a skilled flier but he also had the brains and quick reaction time suited for the job.

of their personality. Include action, dialog and thought.

Sitting in his spare flat the clocked ticked soundlessly on the wall. Lukas rubbed open his eyes as the light poured into the bedroom. Sparsely decorated, the flat was more of a place to stay when he needed to be close. Even just apparating the little bit seemed to feel quicker to him, so when his job called on him Lukas would be ready at the spur of a moment. Also staggering in from a pub a convenient when you had a place to stagger too. It wasn't like you could always flop down on the couches and beds of random strangers. Well he was certain if he did it would be rather bad form.

The night had been one of celebration after the capture of another wanted and dangerous wizard criminal who had been preying on muggles for kicks. The unit he had worked with on the mission had decided to go for a celebratory drink and it ended up that their little squad ended up smashed.

He had to practically drag himself back, it had been too long since he let himself let loose but he hadn't expected to go that far. His wild side was set on cruise control he forgot all of his responsibilities.

Well his responsibilities didn't forget him. In fact the sunlight glaring him in the eye through the curtains were a reminder of his day ahead. Moving from the comfort of the sheets he groaned feeling the headache hit him like a bludger. “Bloody hell” he muttered before he toppled into the washroom. It took him a little longer than usual to get himself cleaned and presentable for work.

Stopping off at the apothecary he picked up a potion for the hangover and he apparated to work. It wasn't long before he found himself in a small room meeting with other Hit Wizards. They droned on and on the sounds of their voices ripped into his head like a sledgehammer. 'Oh right, the potion' he thought as his hand slipped into his robes producing a small vile of gray liquid. Screwing open the bottle he closed his eyes and downed the chilly sip easily. The feeling of disgust was coupled with the wellness he felt as it slowly took effect.

Perking up, Lukas opened his eyes fully and looked back at his colleagues it was than that he realized they were all a little worse off. At least he didn't feel so bad coming in as banged up as he did. Running his fingers through his hair he let out a loud sigh, “So let's get this show on the road shall we?” There was a collective groan as he popped up out of the chair and he just chuckled heading back out into the hallway for some fresh air.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Bright, energetic and charismatic Lukas is an equal balance of both good and bad. With all of his positive he has his negative, selfishness, quick-tempered, and impulsive. He walks the fine line between serenity and insanity by allowing himself the leeway to dip a little on either side. Lukas has trouble keeping strong ties with others who do him wrong and is desperate to do right by his known son. Though he can come off as gruff he has a good heart, it's just covered with layers of scars and sarcasm.

[Why Have you chosen to change careers?:] As Lukas is aging he is beginning to rethink his chosen future. With his current job, he is generally too far away from his son and tends to be obsessed with work. A change in careers will bring him closer to his son despite Jasper's effort to keep them as far apart as humanly possible. This will also give him a chance to reconnect with the glorious past he once lived to the fullest. Lukas is looking for a safer career, and this will give him time to be a better father to both of his sons due to the nature of his new position. Lukas would not start his new position until the next school year.

Flying Instructor; Educating the incoming first years on the art of flight, balance, and skill. As a flying instructor Lukas would use his past skills as both an avid Quidditch Fan and Quidditch Player. As the Quidditch Coach/Referee Lukas supervises practices as well as games to be sure the rules are taught fairly and games are kept clean and free of personal grudges.

Lukas stays in top condition, does rounds about the pitch to make sure it is set up right and in the best shape. Lukas makes sure that the Quidditch supplies are in working order, the brooms are plentiful and that he has plenty of activities for the First Years to practice and learn. As the referee he will keep his knowledge of the Quidditch Rules and Regulations to the forefront of his mind, while maintaining fair and balanced view free of bias.

When the position became available, Lukas was eager for a change and threw his hat into the ring. With the hopes that he would be chosen for a job bringing him both closer to Ana as well as his ungrateful son Jasper.

As a student in Hogwarts Lukas was a Quidditch Keeper for his House, as well as a life long fan of the game and the skill needed to play it.
