Physical Description:
Paul has only recently stopped growing and has reached the same height as his father a respectable 6'' tall exactly he likes the height, he is not to short or high so he thinks it is where he should be. Paul weights 154 lbs which is usually seen as the correct weight for a 6'' man to be meaning he is not under weight our over weight making up the middle ground between the two extreme's.

He is however muscular from Auror training and other exercises he practises on a semi-regular basis. Many of his family members, his mother's grandmother, his fathers mother, his fathers brother and his father's sister, all have red hair and he follows in this trait. His hair is kept in a short style, almost as if he was in the military, and he has shaved it of a few times when he was younger but he likes it the way it is now. 

A constant annoyance is that he has never been able to grow any real facial hair. If he does not shave for about a week then a short stubble may grow on the bottom of his chin and above his lips but that is about all he can muster, unlike his father who has a thick head of hair around his entire face to the point where you can hardly see if he is smiling at you or angry.

He has one hundred percent become a Wizard and he has rarely muggle clothes since his second year in Hogwarts the only time he does if he is at his parents and they are having muggle guest's over, as a 23 year old man in robes may raise a few eye brows. However he never wears wizard hats.

A year and a half ago his nose was broken during Auror training and it has never healed totally and his nose is slightly disfigured. When he was seven year old he fell from the top of his roof, I will include this in his bio for more details, and he has a scar on his upper left arm where his bone came out of his skin.

Personality Description:
Overall most people would describe Paul as a nice man to be around, Muggle or Wizard. He is very open with people and makes friends naturally, though he never did before he attended Hogwarts, he loves being magical and is proud of it. He helps out people when he can, his entire job revolts around catching evil Wizards and Witches, and out side his job he helps his parents run a homeless shelter, it helps to have a skilled Wizard about if you run out of certain things our people are feeling down.

There are only two thing's that get him really angry. Blood status snobbery, which he see's as no better than Racism, and people hurting his family. He would happily kill any Muggle and spend the rest of his life in Azkaban if they were going to hurt his family and his natural instinct would be to grab his wand and fend of the attacker.

You may of guessed that he and his family are very close and the truth if they are the centre of his world. However he has no connections with his mother's side of the family but when the family members he love's get together they party all night long and could not care less what any one thinks. His relationship with his father is strange. They are like Brother/Son, Best Friends and Brothers all at the same time.

Paul enjoy's his job but it can take something out of him if he had been on alert all day and some times he wishes he had chosen and easier career but he would never leave the Auror's as he knows he is doing something worth while. He is a courageous man but not to the point where he would do something stupid, the only exception is when family are involved.

Being a Ravenclaw Paul is naturally very smart passing with almost prefect marks in his O.W.L.S and N.E.W.T.S.

History:
Paul was born in Newcastle. A city in the North of England that has a very interesting history dating back to the Roman Era. Paul's family, for as long as any one can remember, were gerodies and it was something Paul was, and still very much is, proud of. He loved growing up in Newcastle a city with both History and a developing scenery made it the perfect place for a young lad to grow up in.

Paul's family were Muggle's and had no idea magic was anything more than stories and Disney movies but they were incredibly happy. Paul was the second son, one year separating him and his elder brother Henry, and he and his brother got on incredibly well. They did everything together and if one was around the other was not far away. Their favourite activity was Fishing which they did on the banks of the Tyne together.

They went to the same Primary school which was 10 minutes away from their house. Both were good students but both wanted to do only one thing, football. They played it all of the time Paul was a Left winger and Henry was a Goalkeeper. Henry was better than Paul but both were picked for the school team and had great fun in tournaments and leagues.

When he was 7 and his brother was 8 the two boy's were playing a game of dares each getting larger than the last. When it was Paul's turn to be dared his elder brother told him to go out onto the roof. Even though it was raining the way Paul saw it was, a dare was a dare, so he went ahead and did it any way. After he made it out he slipped and fell off the three story roof. This was the first time Magic showed itself in the Muggle child and as he fell he began to slow by using magic, even though it was all sub conscious, and instead  of dying his shoulder popped out of his skin, which although very painful was much better than the alternative.

At the age of 10 Henry was offered a trial with Leeds United and at first Paul was bitter about it but he soon became supportive however the day before Paul was due to travel to Leeds he broke his ankle. He is never bitter about it though as many people were sure he could of become the next big thing and instead he just smile's and say's "Why Dwell on the past?"

At the age of 11 he was all set to go into secondary school, which his brother was already attending, when he received a letter addressed to him written in superb and writing. It was an invite to a school for Wizards, at first his mother and father thought it was some sort of a joke but when letter arrived with instructions by Owl none the less they began to believe. They told Henry who was annoyed that he had no been invited to the school.

Unknown to any of the Martin's by 1996 the Second Wizard War had already begun and the young boy would be in a rather dangerous position if he attened the school.

He arrived and was sorted into Ravenclaw as one of the 40 new children at the school. When the Ravenclaw's cheered for him he immediately knew this is where he should be. The feast was incredible and Hogwarts was mind blowing. To a Muggle born everything was so weird and wonderful. Talking pictures, moving staircases, wandering ghosts and candles that fl;oated in the air. He felt very privileged to be where he was.

He was at a slight disadvantage to some students who already had some magical turoting but he soon caught up and by the end of his first year he was always one of the top three in most subjects and he excelled at Potions and DADA.

His first Holiday back at home was great. Even though Hogwarts was stunning he missed his family and Henry had gotten over not being magical thing and was just happy to see his brother. They talked about school, girls and more than anything magic. His parents were well of, his father was a Doctor and his mother a Lawyer, and they had exchanged quite allot of Sterling into Galleons only to be used for school, emergency's and the occasional treat. He had spent his street money at Honeydukes, well he got an older kid to by the sweets for him, and brought many back to share with his Brother.

1997 was terrible. The first half of the school year was almost normal. Yes Voldemort was attacking again, something he never told his parents, but Dumbledore was in charge and as long as he was headmaster every one was safe. Paul never knew the Wizard but he idolised him and wanted more than anything to be like him.

However when Dumbledore was killed and the Dark Mark placed over Hogwarts he did not return the next year.

His family were ild everything by an Order official and they went into hiding. They actually left the country and stayed with his father's uncle who lived in Denmark. Paul felt it was his fault that his family had to uproot but at least they were all safe. The events of the Second Wizarding war were very dangerous and even in Denmark they were told about them. Paul however did not miss out on the years education and was enrolled in the Denmark version of Hogwarts for the time being.

He never understood Danish but luckily a few of the teachers spoke English but he did not enjoy the school and when he finally returned after the Death of Voldemort he was over joyed.

At the age of 13 his 33 year old mother had her third and final child a sister she named Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a beautiful girl but Paul rarely saw her due to being away for most of the year.

When the time came to receive his O.W.L. results he was at home with his family. His two year old sister was the first to spot the large brown Owl with a small letter on her foot. She landed on his outstreched arm and he took the piece of paper and read quickly.

He read it and then left for his room with out a word to his parents. They looked at the results and assumed they were bad due to his reaction. However when he explained he had passed everything, except History, and six subjects with the highest possible grades they were over joyed.

In his N.E.W.T.S. he went on to study. DADA, Potions, CoMC, Transfiguration, Charms and Herbology. He found N.E.W.T.S very hard and the next two years he did little more than study. Before this he had been dating a Lisa Roma for two years but decided they should separate so they could focus on their studies. Eventually he passed all of his N.E.W.T.S. with Os in everything except Herbology, in which he received an EE.


When he finished his N.E.W.T.S he went back home to visit his sister and mother and he stayed there for 3 years before he entered the Auror programme.It took three years of hard training, which he has only just finished to become an Auror. In his second year his brother graduated from Sandhurst.

Magical Law Enforcement

Paul is an Auror, an elite Dark Wizard catcher. He has been trained in advanced Potions, Spells, Duelling and many more things. He was accepted into the order due to two things his school grades and his duelling skills which for his age were incredible. He enjoys his job but it means he does not get to see his family and he is always in danger. He feels like it is an honourable career and he protects the wider public.

"So this is Sandhurst Academy." He thought to himself as his mother, father, sister, uncle, aunt and more or less his entire family entered the prestigious building to celebrate his brothers graduation and entrance into the Army as an officer. Paul was incredibly Proud of his brother for doing something so brave. He himself was in his second year of Auror training and would soon, if all went to plan, be fighting himself but today was not about him, it was about his brother.

"Mam, Dad. When is the parade?" He asked as they all took their positions in the stands waiting for the officer cadets to come out in all of their fine uniform where their family was waiting for them. Every one in the audience were practically beaming full of pride. "In the next ten minutes, I think." Replied his father checking his watch, which he never left home with out. His mother took out a tissue from her hand bag. "This is so emotional, our son could be called to go and fight in a war any day." His father put an arm around her to comfort his mother.

Just then it began to rain. He wanted to stop it using magic for his brothers special day but he knew his mother would never approve. She had nothing against magic, she loved the fact her son could use it, but she did not like him to depend upon it. "Paul I can't see." Came the voice of a small child. Paul looked down and saw his nine year old sister Elizabeth. "Can I get on your shoulders?" She asked. Paul turned around to make sure it would obstruct no one's view and picked up his sister so she could see the parade yard.

Just then the band began to play, very loudly and Elizabeth did not like it at all. Her ears had always been over sensitive. "Paul, can you make the sound go away with your w..." Paul covered her moth so she could not finish her sentence. "Elizabeth you know we don't talk about that in public. But yes I think I can dull your hearing until the music is over, just don't tell Mam." She nodded so he pulled out his wand and pointed it at her, covering the instrument with his coat and saying a quick spell so his sister's ear's were the same as any normal Human. "Thanks." She said and he winked at her as his brother marched onto the ground.

He cheered but when he saw no one else did and every one looked at him he realised he was not meant to do that. "Sorry, my bad I did not read the manual." The officer cadets marched onto the parade ground in their ceremonial uniform. His brother had been training for 44 weeks and they had not spoke during the entire time as Paul was in Auror training.

The ceremony was 45 minutes long and when it was done he lead the cheers as the parents flooded the filed and hugged their sons and daughters. After the adults had well and truly hugged the life out of Henry Paul was next and hugged him. "Well done brother, but I bet I could beat you in a fight still." Henry smirked. "Yeah, but not with out that stick of wood in your hand." Paul had to agree. He was a talented Due list, all potential Auros had to be, but in a fair fight with fist's his elder brother would kill him with out any real trouble. "So Second Lieutenant, what do we do now?" He asked as the Major in charge of the camp told every one to go in for some tea and cakes. As Paul followed every one his thought was. "How every British."

Special Ability: Animagus

When did your character master this ability?  How long have they had it?: Paul began learning the ability aged 16 at the time the main reason was to impress his family however it soon became apparent that being an Animagus would help immensly in a future carreer as an Auror which became the dominant reson he took the time and effort to learn the ability.

How did they learn or hone this ability?: Paul has always been a very talented Wizard but he needed allot of help to become an Animagus and this came in the form of his transfiguration teacher more than any one else. He trained all most every day for an hour at least and his weekends for two years were almost dedicated to learning the ability to the point where he became obsessed with it. It took two years before he was able to turn into any thing and only in the last year has he been able to have a firm grip on the ability.

Describe how the Special Ability influences their life.  What do they use it for?: Nothing really yet. He has just began his life as an Auror but he is sure it will come in handy in covert missons due to his small size when he transforms.

Write a description of what happens when your character is exhibiting this Special Ability: When Paul uses the ability he transforms, almost instantly, into a Sugar Glider. The Glider he transforms into is brown with a black streak down the center of it's back. It is 10'' long, the exact same length as his wand, and has a large bushy tail. In this form he is very agile, skittish, great eye sight and is able to glide.

Description:
The wand is beautifuly crafted, Olivander considered it one of his most beautiful wand's but was not sad to see it go as it had found it's owner, the wood is cherry and coloured burgundy the tip of the wand and the base of the handel is much darker and almost black in colour the handle is far more ornate than most. The end of the wand is a think circle with a thin strip of wood that lead to a knobbly peice of wood which in turn lead to an hourglass handle that connected to the actual part of the wand. Inside the wand is a single and supposdely stunning Unicorn hair.The wand is 12'' long and fits perfectly in his hand and pocket. The wand is rigid and unmoving which reflects Paul's attitude to good and wrong.

Strengths and Weaknesses and Attributes
Having a Unicorn hair as it's core makes the wand more or less useless for any spell's concerning the Dark Art's so for example he could still cast one of the three unforgivable curses but it would be less powerful than if it came from any other wand core. As the wand wood is rigid, which reflects Paul's attitude to good and evil, it is very good for defensive magic which means he is very good at spells like Protego. The cherry wood is good for nature spells, so thinks like making plants grow are easier for him, and the Unicorn hair is good for Charms. As the wand is smooth it reflect's Paul's Calm Mind and collectivness in the eye of danger.
