SR/HM *sniffle*If you have written other characters here, list them all: Ava Nyx Grosvenor.Full Character Name: Finnley Felixis Grosvenor. “Finn”Character Birthday & Age: November 1st, 1987, 20 years of age.City & Country of Birth: Chippenham, Wiltshire, England.Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn: Pureblood. He is from a line of two powerful pureblood families, but is the first generation since the two families united.Alma Mater: Finn was a Slytherin during his time at Hogwarts. His sister later joined him there.Job: Night club owner, prominent businessman. This spot is a bar/night club/burlesque parlour at night and a restaurant during the day.Wand: Birch, 10 ½ inch, Dragon Heartstring core. Finn’s wand is bendy and swishy and has proven handy at charms – although not so much in school, but that was more to do with Finn’s lack of concentration. The wood is stained blood red, and is rough to the touch. The handle a deep burgundy, embossed with gold paint. His wand is heavy, and the knots that adorn the wand stick suggest complication of the owner.Physical Description: Finn has dark hair, with flecks of dark blonde or caramel thrown in. He wears it short, but not so short that it can’t be styled. He prefers the muggle way of styling with wax, rather than using spells, as it gives him a messier look. He likes to make his hair look as though he just fell out of bed and it automatically looked that good without any real effort on his part. His eyes are deep blue, like the deepest part of the ocean. One of his ex-girlfriends gave him the nickname ‘blue-eyes’, and even after they finished they stayed friends and she carried on using the nickname for him.Finn can be seen sporting a pair of large dark sunglasses when the weather is bright outside – or when he is simply trying to look cool. Occasionally he feels the need to wear his reading glasses, as sometimes reading the documentation required for his business gives him a migrane. He has never felt the need for contact lenses, as he only wears the glasses occasionally.Finn has good skin. He always has done, and can only ever remember waking up with one or two zits. However, when Finn gets a zit he gets a really big, bad zit. Nevertheless, Finn isn’t too much of a vain man, and one or two zits is normal at his age. It would never stop him from going about his normal daily business.Finn has an average bodyshape, and his weight is neither over nor under what it should be for his height. He doesn’t make a regular habit of exercising, but he does get a fair amount of exercise from his work. He does a lot of traveling to meet people, and prefers to walk places when he can. Finn enjoys walking a lot, and still plays some quidditch now and again when he can find the time. His strong jawline contradicts his other softer features, and he has a darker than average colouring, verging on olive.Personality Description: Quick-witted and flirtatious, the two main words that would describe Finn. Bantering with women is probably his favourite pastime, and he would never give that up when there are so many pretty young girls to be pursued, especially in the business he has entered. He is devoted to his sister and his friends who have stuck by him all the way through school and into the real world. He will defend them in anyway he can if anyone crosses them. He can hold a grudge for a long time, a trait he gained from his grandfather. He is experimental with anything he can be. He is fluent in French, making him a charming catch with the ladies.Finn is unbelievably stubborn, and seldom admits when he is wrong about something. He loves to party and travel, and loves them even better when they occur together. Finn’s favourite number says a lot about his personality. Although many people find it to be unlucky, Finn has always been drawn to the number thirteen. This can be linked to his thirst for danger and mystery. He loves the thrill of the chase, and loves the thrill of the catch even more. He considers himself to be a lucky man, completely different to his father who would argue that you make your own luck in life. Finn believes that this is partially true, but he thinks that luck provides the opportunity; you just have to decide whether you take it.Finn is uncontrollably afraid of death. More to the point, he hates the thought of becoming old. He knows it is going to happen at some point, but he is going to wander aimlessly to find the elixir of life until that time.Finn’s greatest strength is business. He knows how people’s minds work when it comes to business ideas, purchasing and selling. He is a confident person who speaks his mind on every occasion possible, which is why at the tender age of twenty, he has one of the most sought out nightclubs in the UK. His other strength is women. As cocky as it may sound, Finn truly believes that he has what it takes to give a woman a good time, then let her down in such a way that she feels as though she’s made all the decisions. Arguably, though, women are also his greatest weakness. He gets distracted easily by long smooth legs and flowing locks of hair. He doesn’t personally count it as a weakness, but it is something that his friends have all mentioned to him on various occasions.History: The Grosvenors were a long line of wealthy pure-blooded wizards. For as far back as the family tree was dated, the Grosvenors had money in excess, and each of them lived in luxury that one could never imagine. However, in 1984 a young Nathaniel Felix Grosvenor VIII fresh out of Hogwarts fell in love with a girl – Persephone Deadly-Nightshade. This pure-blooded young lady showed great sophistication at the young age of eighteen. She was cool, glamorous, popular and everything that Nathaniel’s father could have hoped for in a daughter-in-law. Of course, it helped that her family had plenty of money. In 1986 the couple were married, and the union of the two powerful wizarding families was broadcast all over Britain as the start of a new dynasty. The new Mr and Mrs Grosvenor quickly established their places in society. Nathaniel was the owner of several large law firms, both in the wizarding and the muggle world. Having money in the family was a fantastic starter for him, as he knew that funding would never be an issue. Persephone did very little. She bathed in the glow of her husband’s wealth and social status. Her days were spent shopping and relaxing with like-minded and like-living friends and acquaintances. Her only real passion in life was for a decent book.In 1987, the Grosvenors broke the news that they were expecting their first child, the heir to the family fortune. Nathaniel prayed night after night that it would be a boy. Persephone was so shocked and scared by the whole thing that throughout the whole pregnancy she didn’t even give a thought to whether she would have liked a boy or a girl. 9 months and two weeks later, on November 1st 1987, an 8lb 2oz Finnley Felixis Grosvenor III entered the world, much to his father’s delight. Finnley was named after his grandfather, Finnley Felixis Grosvenor II. ‘The family heir.’ the elder Finnley said, as he sighed with delight at his gurgling grandson. With blonde curls that even the most cold hearted, stone faced of women couldn’t help but admire, Finn bounced and bobbed his way through his early years without a care in the world. He was doted on by his grandparents. Even his great-grandmother Grosvenor, a harsh woman with a face that looked as though two tonnes of cement had been plastered on it, and who sat in her rocking chair all day every day smoking through a small thin pipe, couldn’t help but force a smile that made it look as though her face was going to crack clean in two.Finnley was such a charming little boy. He showed magical potential at the tender age of two, and as such was given his own house elf, as well as the nanny who already pampered him like a prince. This little boy never wanted for anything, and grew up in the lap of luxury. Most would say he was spoiled, but being spoiled is not necessarily all about material items. Many children that are referred to as spoiled are molly-coddled by their parents, wrapped in cotton wool. From the first few weeks of his life, Finnley was left to his own devices. His mother figure was his nanny, who - much as though he loved the dear woman to bits - was far too old to be his mother. He learned how to be a boy, and how to grow up, and all of the character traits that he now possesses from his nanny. And much as though she was a fantastic role model for the young lad, it is obvious that a child needs love and attention from those who brought him into the world. When Finn was three going on four, his baby sister Ava was brought into the world. She was the opposite to what he had been – the darkest head of hair nanny had ever seen in her life, and pinkest cheeks to rival all babies. Finn was intrigued by this little bundle of gurgle and giggle. Many would have said that he was too young to really know what was going on, but the little boy knew a lot more than he let on. By this age, three years old, Finn had already worked out that his parents were too busy to look after him. In fact, he barely ever saw them. And if he was quite honest with himself, the man that nanny called his ‘father’ scared him. And the woman she called his ‘mother’ smelled unfamiliar. Hers was a harsh smell, a potent, fragrant smell. Nanny smelled like vanilla pods. So when his sister arrived, Finn knew that this was something special. This little package of blankets needed to be kept safe and looked after. And Finn knew that he would have to grow up fast if he was going to look after it.So from the age of three, Finn assigned himself as Ava’s carer, her father figure – heaven knows she didn’t have one in her real father. She needed the stability that a loving, caring male presence can bring. Finn spent almost all day every day with the little girl who grew prettier and prettier by the hour. She was his pride and joy, the apple of his eye and she could do no wrong. On the odd occasion that she did do something wrong, such as when she was six and he was nine and she jumped in the stream with her new white dress on, Finn took it upon himself to discipline her. Of course, his anger with her didn’t last for long, for when those large green eyes looked up at him with the tears rolling down her cheeks, he couldn’t help but wrap his arms around her and say “Come on. Let’s go and see Nanny about getting some hot cocoa.” Knowing that she was dependent on him gave Finn a sense of accomplishment that so few children of his age feel.Much as though Hogwarts had been a long anticipated experience for Finn, when the time finally came for him to get on the train, he found it difficult to do so. He couldn’t get on a train and watch his distraught little sister lose her only real family. It killed him as he watched her wave morosely as the train chuffed away from platform 9 ¾ , but he knew that in a short few years she would be joining him.Finn was sorted into Slytherin as soon as the hat touched his head. He was pleased, of course, because all of his forefathers had been Salazar’s boys, and Finn didn’t want to be the weak link in the chain. So far, he had lived up to the expectations of the Grosvenor family. His parents told him to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas as they were busy. This came as no surprise to Finn, and he half expected to wake up on Christmas morning to no gifts, but alas, they had remembered their monetary duties as parents, if not any others. Finn was surprised to find that he had nothing from his sister. Perhaps owl delivery was a little slow at this time of the year. He waited a few days, then weeks. As the year leapt into February, Finn presumed that his sister had meant to send him nothing. She wouldn’t have forgotten Christmas, as the festival was everywhere. Something was wrong, and he hated not knowing what it was.As the spring turned into the summer, Finn was getting ready to say goodbye to his new friends for a few months, and return to his best friend of all. How disappointed he was when he arrived home to find an empty house. Silence. He could have put money on his parents not being there to greet him, but his sister? This was not like her at all. When she eventually cam home, later that day, Finn found her distant and cold towards him. She greeted him, kissed him on the cheek as a good sister does, but nothing else. This lasted all summer.Finn hated to admit it, but he was looking forward to getting back to school and throwing himself in Hogwarts life. There was nothing to keep him home now, as even his beloved sister didn’t want to know. That next year at school was possible the hardest he faced in his whole school career. Not because of the work load, but because of the pressing issue that niggled in the back of his mind every minute of every day, the shock of suddenly losing his sister. Even though she had been there the whole summer, it was as though she had died – in fact, Finn was positive that part of her had died when he left for Hogwarts. He blamed himself for the fact that she was so miserable. The next summer was worse. Now, she refused to even acknowledge his presence. Things got so bad, that for the last three weeks of his summer, Finn went to stay with his friend in Northern Ireland rather than stay with his unloving family. The next summer, however, things took a dramatic turn. When Finn stepped off the train, a tall, handsome boy of fourteen, his just-turned eleven year old sister beamed back at him. The glint was back in her eyes. There was a glow about her that he hadn’t seen for so long, a glow that he never thought he’d see again. That summer was arguably the best summer they ever spent together. Fishing in the stream, making daisy-chains, playing wizard’s chess. This was what the summer was supposed to be like. As Finn and Ava sat together in a cabin on the Hogwarts express on September 1st of that year, it suddenly dawned on Finn why she had been so happy all summer. It was because she was finally free of her family, and back where she belonged – with her brother. Those next few years were the happiest Finn had ever felt. He excelled in most of his classes, was made prefect in his fifth year, and was on the quiddich team with his sister. By the time he was leaving school, he was not worried about his sister any more. She had flourished into a beautiful young girl of fourteen, and was making her mark in the school. She was bright, clever and witty and he could not have been prouder of her. But now it was time for him to make his own mark in the world. He asked her how she would feel about him going travelling around the world for a year, and was surprised by her enthusiastic response. So, after he graduated, he and a couple of friends took off for the skies in a years worth of travelling around Asia and Africa.Nineteen years old and back in London, England. Finn had thought that traveling might give him an appetite for a job, but it certainly had not done that. Finn caught wind that an old rival of his from Hogwarts had bought out a bar in Diagon Alley, done it up and was now a success. This gave Finn an idea. He apparated to Hogsmeade and took a look around. A quiet village, but its inhabitants had yet to come alive – and Finn felt that he could be the one to bring them to life himself. What with the school being so close, business was sure to boom. He thought of himself as a lusty seventeen year old in his last year, and much as though the label of prefect had loomed over his head, the opportunity of visiting a night club or bar in Hogsmeade would not have been passed up easily. And he found the perfect spot, too. An abandoned building on the corner of a street was just the right size, shape and in the right place. A little re-jigging and some sound-proofing, and this would be the perfect get-away for everyone alike. It would be a one of a kind club, like no other had dared to own before. Oh yes, his rival had opened a bar in London, but Finn would be famous for opening a night-club, bar and burlesque parlor in one. He pitched the idea to his father who thought it was a risky business, but seeing his son want to start his own business opened the door to a protective emotion the senior Grosvenor had not felt towards the boy in nineteen years. His father took the money needed from Finn’s trust fund that he was to receive on his twenty-first birthday and gave it to him, telling him to spend it wisely. After three months of planning and pursuing, the club was up and running. Now, Finn is twenty years old. The club has been successful for around a year and a half now. Finn couldn’t have asked for a better life at this moment in time, and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. What is your occupation?:Finn owns and runs a popular bar and club in Hogsmeade. It came about when he had finished travelling with some friends. He arrived back in England to find that his arch nemesis had opened a bar in London, that was proving to be extremely popular. Finn decided to something that had not yet been dared, and prove that he was better by miles – he opened a bar and club in the sleepy village of Hogsmeade. The business is thriving, and he is becoming well known throughout Britain for his hotspot. This career came up by chance. Finn had always been interested in potions in school, and much as though he wasn’t entirely sure what he wanted to do with his life, he had assumed it would be something in the alchemy area. Alas, things don’t always turn out the way one plans. Thus, Finn stumbled upon this business opportunity by accident, and cannot imagine doing anything else. He still dabbles in alchemy as a hobby.Finn’s confidence and his ability to talk to people makes him a natural in the business world. He is good at striking deals with other companies – and Finn is always loyal to those who lend a helping hand.Writing Sample:“Gentlemen, welcome. I hope you will enjoy what you see.” Finn smirked. These boys were young, younger than even he. Three of them in total, and they looked so scared that Finn couldn’t resist a chuckle. He bowed and opened the door behind him into the main theatre, leading the white-faced children into the spectacles behind him. Their eyes lit up at the sight of the curtained stage, with a couple of scantily clad girls dancing on the forestage as the warm-up act. The auditorium was empty, and yet the girls were dancing as though it was full, playing up their feminine figures to the lights. Finn closed the door behind him. “Come.” He said and led them to the left, round the back of the tiered gallery seating and to the bar. “Have a drink on me. The first customers of the night are most welcome.” He smiled and looked around as the boys ordered their drinks. Half past six – this was the earliest Finn had ever had customers for the main show. It was a good job a couple of the girls were ready for six just in case. One couldn’t keep the customer waiting for too long – making them want the show was all very well, but there was such a thing as making a complete fool of them. And since the people who came to this exuberant and exclusive club had money to spend, Finn was not willing to do that. The main show didn’t start until nine, but the boys knew that. They had paid their money so there was no going back now. When the boys had ordered and received their drinks, Finn led them round the front and into the front row of the tiered seating. “There you are, gentlemen, best seats in the house.” He winked. One of the boys, the slightly chubby-looking one, spoke out. “What about them seats over there.” Finn followed the boy’s chubby finger to the very front and central table of all. He chuckled slightly. Well, he was keen wasn’t he? “I’m afraid they are reserved for a party which will be arriving later. But rest assured that these seats are most satisfying. Enjoy, gentlemen.” He bowed once more and walked away, scowling as he did so and enjoying the fact that the customers couldn’t see.The club had been open for just over a year now, business was booming and things couldn’t be going better for Finn. He had been looking at the possibility of buying a second property in London for a similar reason. Finn’s father had only been to see the club once, and that was when it had just opened so word was still getting around. Now, it was one of the hottest places to be on a night, wizards apparated from all over the country to see it, and many stayed for the night in one of the plush rooms so as not to risk splinching. The senior Grosvenor had said he would come tonight, but only half an hour ago, Finn had received a letter from his father by owl, stating that [much to his extreme disappointment] he would not be able to make it tonight, as he had to take a last minute trip to Romania. Not a word of explanation into the trip, but Finn supposed that his father even bothering to tell him he wasn’t going to be able to make it was a miracle in itself. Normally he would just stand his son up.Finn pulled the letter from his pocket once more, looked at it with disdain and tore it up into little pieces. He balled up the shredded paper and tossed it onto the cloakroom counter. “Get rid of it.” He said darkly to the man behind the counter, who nodded profusely and picked up the ball of paper as Finn stalked off into the bar and slammed the door behind him.Sum up your character in one paragraph:Arrogant, confident and cocky, Finn is the perfect businessman. He knows how to mix business and pleasure, and keeps them in good balance. He is a charmer, though, and his skills in speaking French always come in handy. He loves women a little too much, and has been in trouble a few times with overprotective fathers. He has a fervent loyalty to his younger sister, and would never let anything happen to her – so boys, beware! He is a mean dab hand in a lab, too – potions was always his speciality in school. Cut reeds were used as pens and symbolized wisdom and scholarship. Identified with the submerged or hidden Dryad, the Reed was representative of the mysteries of death. It was associated with being both a saviour and a custodian as well as a symbol of royalty. It was used in the making of instruments such as flutes and pipes. Pan, the Greek God of Herds, Fertility and Male Sexuality (whose name is the root word of "panic"), is often depicted playing a syrinx...a pipe comprised of seven reeds. Traditionally a nomadic people, the Celts camped in one area throughout the Winter months and would break camp in the Spring when the first yellow blooms appeared on the Reed. The Reed was once believed to bring order out of chaos and legend holds that a Reed was thrust into Christ's hand when he was mockingly robed in purple. The Reed grows in silence, thin and slender, by watersides and marshlands, standing in clumps at the edge of rivers. It is representative of arrows that fly up into the unknown air to land at the very source of that which is being sought, symbolic of the direct approach required when confronting a dilemma...whether that dilemma comes from within or without. The Reed expressed the desire to search out basic truths and was also symbolic of music. Within many woodwind instruments, the Reed will create a balance. Even in today's world, the Reed is often used to thatch the roofs of houses, once being representative of the protection it offered to all of Nature's creatures, whether domestic or wild. Weavers often used the Reed to separate the threads they once spun and its leaves were frequently used to fashion baskets and floor mats. Some cultures (such as the Marsh Arabs of the Rivers Tigris and Euphrates) built entire houses and even mosques from Reeds. Natives of the American SouthWest once made arrow shafts from the Reed's woody culms and, in more modern times, small beds of Reeds are sometimes planted to purify domestic sewage. Though often used with great imprecision, the term "Reed" as it applies to the Ogham is the Common Reed or Broom, a giant grass with stems which can grow to be 12 feet tall. It is found in abundance in the British Isles, usually in marshy areas where it often forms dense stands and blooms with yellow pod-shaped flowers. As with most other grasses, the vertical stems of the Reed (which can be very thick and strong) live only for a single year, dying in the Autumn to be replaced with new green shoots in the Spring. The dead stems have a tendency to rattle and whisper in late Autumn winds. The Common Reed has spread in weed-like fashion throughout most of the world but is more widespread in cooler climates. As its alternative name suggests, the branches of the Reed are often dried and used as brooms. A decoction of young branches and seeds was once used to treat malaria, gout and painful joints. Oil drawn from the stems by heating them over an open fire was formerly employed to treat toothache and for the removal of parasites (such as lice). The genus name of the Common Reed (Phragmites) is derived from the Greek meaning "growing in hedges." A member of the Grass family, the Reed offers protection for Ducks during their flightless molting period of late Summer and also serves as a Winter cover for resident wildlife species such as Deer, Pheasants, Foxes, Coyotes and Raccoons. In addition, it creates an excellent nesting site for several non-game marsh birds including the yellow-headed and red-winged Blackbird. The shoots of the Reed are a favored food of Muskrats. There are two distinct types of Reed individuals (a division which relates to all Celtic Tree Signs). The "new moon" character is associated with the first two weeks of a sign and the "full moon" character is associated with the last two weeks. The "new moon" Reed individual make both powerful friends and powerful enemies, given his or her initial response of impatience and impulsiveness. Even so, such people will usually maintain their positions of power and achieve a great deal of respect, particularly from their adversaries. The "full moon" Reed individual plans his or her moves with more sublety and will probably achieve more public recognition. However, such people are inclined to want to move onto other things...an action which can often undermine their true sense of purpose. In general, Reed individuals are imaginative with a clear view of complex matters. They make for powerful friends but can also be powerfully jealous...a jealousy which is prone to turn to violence if not held in careful check. Reed people constantly strive for complete power, both within as well as without. They are wonderful leaders but often fall victim to the "Peter Pan" syndrome. They make for immensely caring and passionate mates as long as their jealous streak can be kept under control. Reed people are usually the catalysts of life rather than the competitors, being more concerned with changing the entire formula of life instead of simply certain aspects. They are known as the great survivors of life but often meet with the hostility of others rather than the offer of a helping hand. It is necessary for Reed individuals to unite a sense of purpose with their strong will in order to prevent a path toward self-destruction. Sometimes referred to as the "Duality of the Ivy," Reed individuals are complex, tenacious and fearless. Proud and independent, they have great strength of character and will rarely compromise, believing they have a role to play which excludes any signs of weakness or the luxury of "sitting on the fence." Reed people are forceful and thrive on challenges, holding an innate belief in their own destiny. Possessed with a powerful presence and a great deal of personal magnetism, Reed individuals attract most people but tend to repel the overly-sensitive. They are never found lacking in the ability to surmount even the most overwhelming odds. Due to their power, however, they must follow a narrow line of virtuous morals. If that line is strayed from, then they can become very dangerous people. Physical Goal: To find order where others find and create only chaos...to put this skill to work and take charge. Mental Goal: To keep any given target in sight and not be distracted...results are only as sure as the intentions with which they are begun. Spiritual Goal: To expect surprise encounters and upsets...the skills which will overcome such obstacles are as valuable teaching tools as the journey itself. Amergin Verse: "I am a Threatening Noise from the Sea" Ogham Association: Ngetal Polarity: Feminine Color: Grass Green Class: Shrub Letter Character: "NG" Month: October...twelfth month in the Celtic Ogham. Between October and November, Druids would celebrate their thirteenth month known as Samhain, a period for welcoming the ancestors and spirits who would walk between the Realms at this time. October comes from the word Octo (Roman for "eight"). Octo or Octem was the eighth month in the oldest Roman calendar. It was a time for Druids to embrace the Goddess. Alias: "Moon of the Home," "Hearth Moon," Winter Moon" and "Moon Which Manifests Truth" Magickal Properties: Fertility, Protection, Love and Family Concerns Gemstone: The Reed gemstone is the Jasper, also known as the "Supreme Nurturer." The stone is an opaque, impure Chalcedony, usually red in color but may also be found in brown, green, greyish-blue and yellow. It is also often multi-colored. A very pretty and inexpensive earth stone, Jasper is usually worn in the form of beads or cabochons. The gem was once believed to drive away evil spirits and offer protection from the bites of Snakes and Spiders. Jasper has been a valued stone since the earliest days of mankind, particularly since it lent itself so suitably for carving. Seals were often fashioned from Jasper and it was the chosen jewel for the Emperor of China's personal such emblem. To the Assyrians, the red Jasper was especially treasured since it was said to bring everlasting protection and offer medicinal properties. In the Fourth Century, Jasper was known as the great "Rain-Bringer." It served as a reminder that an individual was not on the physical plane merely for himself or herself, but to also bring joy and substance to others and assist in releasing the bonds of constraint. Jasper was used by Native American shamans to provide protection during their journeys into the Spirit Worlds, being believed to protect against negativity and aid in grounding an individual to the stabilizing energy of the Earth. Red Jasper was once engraved with images of Lions or Archers and carried to guard against poison and to cure fever. Many carvings of Jasper have been found in Egyptian tombs and parts of the Book of the Dead were inscribed on tablets made from this stone. There are many references to Jasper in the Bible and it was one of the twelve sacred stones in the Breastplate of the High Priest. Saint Peter is believed by some cultures to have derived his name from the Jasper, since it was the rock on which Christ said, "I will build my Church." One of history's most exceptional Jaspers was etched with a profile of Louis XVI of France and displayed a blood-red steak across his throat. This symbolizm (King Louis eventually meeting his death by execution at the guillotine during the French Revolution) made it a gemstone of rare worth. Traditionally, the Jasper was employed in defensive magick because it was said to return negativity to the original sender. Flower: The flower of the Reed is the Water Mint, a low-growing, rather coarse perennial, also known as Wild Mint or Marsh Mint. It belongs to a group known as marginal, bog or shallow water plants and is common in the British Isles and Northern Europe. Typically, marginals like to have their roots constantly wet, but most of the plant is held above water level. The Water Mint, which can grow to be a little over three feet tall, bears a perfume similar to that of the Bergamot Orange. When crushed, it produces a highly aromatic and minty scent. Its pinkish-lilac flowers, which bloom from July to October, attract many species of Butterflies. Medicinally, the Water Mint was considered to have emetic, stimulant and astringent qualities. It was closely linked to the Celtic guardians of sacred springs and streams and was used in the Middle Ages as a strewing herb. Celestial Body: The celestial body associated with the Reed is the planet Pluto ("Pwyll"), Roman God and Ruler of the Dark UnderWorld. Deity: The Reed deity is Arawen (or Arawn), King of the UnderWorld, also known as "King of Hell" and "God of Annwn." His name means "silver-tongued." Arawen fought alongside Bran in the Battle of the Trees against Amathaon and Gwyddion. Like most Gods of the OtherWorld, Arawen was a master hunter who rode a pale Horse, followed by a pack of white, red-eared Hounds. The traditional purpose of this hunt was to gather souls for the OtherWorld...assuming the quarry did not prove to be clever enough to evade the chase. According to legend, domestic Pigs did not arrive in Britain until they were presented as a gift to Pryderi by Arawen. Arawen was said to have possessed a magickal cauldron of regeneration, later captured by King Arthur. In other Arthurian tales, Arawen is featured as one of Arthur's "Three Counselling Knights." His name was later changed to "Anguish" or "Anguissance" and he was made King of Ireland or Scotland. Also associated with the Reed is Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed (in what is today known as Wales). His chief court was said to have been at Arbeth. Strongly associated with the OtherWorld, he was the occasional ruler of that Realm (an honor he shared with Arawen), at which times he was bestowed with the title "Lord of Beyond." Pwyll was given "The Stone" (one of four treasures) for safekeeping. "The Stone" symbolized the right of monarchs to possess divine power. Animals: The Owl - These birds were most often associated with the Crone aspect of the Goddess. The Owl was often considered a guide to and through the UnderWorld, being a creature of keen sight in darkness and a swiftly-silent hunter. The Owl could help unmask those bent on deception or seeking to take advantage. In the tale of Culhwch and Olwen, Gwrhyr encountered an Owl as one of the oldest creatures in his search for the Mabon (Divine Child). In another Celtic legend, Blodeuwedd, Maiden of Flowers, was transformed into an Owl after plotting to kill her husband Lleu. An Owl before a gateway was once said to be representative of the transformation of the soul. The White Hound - A title of honor for Celtic chieftains and representative of the Dogs which guarded the lunar mysteries. Hounds in general symbolized enduring loyalty.October 28-November 11: Those born on this date also fall under the lesser influence of a secondary tree...the Walnut, whose motto is "Looking for a Homeland" or "The Passion." Walnut individuals are unrelenting, considered somewhat strange by many and full of contrasts. Often egotistical, Walnuts are aggressive and noble with a broad horizon. They are unexpected and sponteneous in their reactions with little or no flexibility. Walnut people possess unlimited ambition and can make for difficult and uncommon partners. Not always liked but often admired, the Walnut individual is an ingenious stategist, who is very jealous and passionate by nature and rarely given to compromise. Walnuts will accept and endure a multitude of troubles in order to satisfy the desire for pleasure. An uncompromising character, the Walnut individual will undertake a project with inexhaustible perseverance and once in love, tends to love until death.japanese blood groupType O rhesus negativePeople with blood type O people are outgoing, energetic and social. They are the most flexible of the blood types. They easily start up projects but often have trouble following through because they give up easily. They are flighty and not too dependable. O types always say what's on their mind. They value the opinion of others and like to be the center of attention. Also, people with O blood are extremely self-confident.rising signsRising Sign is in 19 Degrees Leo You love to be the center of attention and you want to appear strong, confident and dominant. You are very proud of yourself, sometimes quite vain even. When all around you are bedraggled and falling apart, you look like a million bucks! Very dignified and honorable, you enjoy the power and privilege, but not the responsibilities, that come with leadership. You are very idealistic but can also be quite stubborn. Others impress you only if they have integrity (but wealth, power and influence can also turn your head). You prefer rich, elegant surroundings and possessions, and will try to acquire them as your budget allows. Physically, you are very impressive - - at your best you have a regal, charismatic demeanor and bearing. Try not to be such a showoff! Sun is in 09 Degrees Scorpio. Intense and complex by nature, you have extremely strong emotional reactions to most situations. Feelings are often very difficult for you to verbalize. Therefore you have a tendency to be very quiet - - to brood and think a lot. You seldom get overtly angry, but, when you do, you are furious and unforgiving. When you make an emotional commitment, it is total -- you are not attracted to superficial or casual relationships. If you are challenged, you take it as a personal affront and tend to lash out and fight back in a vengeful manner. You love mysteries and the supernatural. A good detective, you love getting to the roots of problems and you enjoy finding out what makes other people tick. You are known to be very willful, very powerful and quite tenacious! Moon is in 21 Degrees Pisces. You have strong feelings and are extremely sensitive. It would help if you had a thicker skin -- you tend to react emotionally to every situation you come across. Kind, gentle and considerate of the feelings of others, you are good at taking care of the sick, wounded and helpless. But you tend to absorb the energy of others -- so avoid those who are always negative. You have a rich, creative and lively imagination, but you should be careful not to spend all your time daydreaming. Very intuitive, you have good ESP and may be quite clairvoyant or psychic. Remember that you too have the right to get what you want from life. If you are always defensive and kowtowing to others, people will take advantage of you and exploit you. Mercury is in 29 Degrees Libra. You are known for not jumping to conclusions about things. You tend to weigh all possible choices very carefully before making a decision. When in the slightest amount of doubt, you will compromise rather than ruffle any feathers. You are a true raconteur of culture and taste -- your ideas and opinions are neat, elegant and refined. A born diplomat, you dislike discord so much that you will go out of your way to make others feel comfortable and at ease. You speak softly and pleasantly. Venus is in 27 Degrees Scorpio. Your feelings about others are deep, powerful, intense and complex. When you like someone, you do so totally and obsessively if you do not like someone, they do not exist. Your faithfulness and loyalty to your lover is unquestioned, indeed at times it is too much so -- you get so possessive that you almost smother your partner. At times, your feelings are kept deep within you and, because they are so complex and intense, they frighten you -- this is the way that you try to ignore them. But the more you try to do this, the more explosive things get when you eventually do express them. Mars is in 15 Degrees Libra. You are very aware of the need to cooperate with others in order to further any effort. You are usually willing to compromise with others, although you can be quite competitive in a friendly way. Very fair- minded and impartial, you have the ability to sense injustice and the desire to take corrective actions to make proper compensations. You see both sides of issues and questions, but you tend to be undecided or wavering when forced to make choices that might make you vulnerable or unpopular. Jupiter is in 22 Degrees Aries. The way that you grow and develop is by being an uncompromising individualist. You have a great need to be yourself and to explore your latent talents and abilities. Do not be afraid to let yourself go and develop self-confidence and pride in your accomplishments. But try not to become so self-centered that you ignore the needs of others. Also, you may have to build up your self-discipline in order to focus your energies properly. Saturn is in 18 Degrees Sagittarius. Basically quite conservative, you respect traditional authority figures and are very thankful and supportive of the laws and institutions which govern your life. You learn and accept new ideas only after having very thoroughly examined them. Ideals and abstract concepts are important to you only if they can be used in some practical fashion. You are so practical and so orderly that you have natural skills in planning, administrating and organizing. Uranus is in 24 Degrees Sagittarius. You, and most of your peers, have the tendency to think that all ideas, customs and traditions from the past are outmoded and irrelevant. You are attracted to radically new ideas, philosophies and religions that will, hopefully, cause sweeping changes throughout the world. Neptune is in 05 Degrees Capricorn. You, and your entire generation, will idealize work, practicality and the ability to attain reasonable goals. But, because you will also stress the need to be selfless and giving, you may find it difficult to attain your goals unless you have lowered your expectations on all fronts. Pluto is in 09 Degrees Scorpio. For your entire generation, this is a period of intense research and discovery in areas that were heretofore considered mysterious, remote or taboo. The root causes for many complex occurrences will be unearthed due to the intensity and thoroughness of the search. N. Node is in 01 Degrees Aries. You're at your most comfortable when involved in group activities outside of your immediate family circle. You delight in getting involved with others in neighborhood civic or political activities, especially if you can be a part of the leadership of the group. Your zeal and overabundant energy bring out your real creativity when you can work toward tangible results -- things that will immediately benefit those around you. You have a real gift for getting the most out of charity drives and community benefits. Take time out between projects though, because you tire out easily and your effectiveness becomes greatly diminished when your energy is depleted. Also, don't even think of trying to get involved at a peripheral level -- you need a total commitment to feel personally fulfilled. Let others bake the cookies and set up the chairs -- you should be the one to tell everyone what to do and when to do it!slytherin scorpioWhat is said of Slytherins born under all other signs is doubly true of Slytherins born under Scorpio. (Or was it that what is said of Scorpios is doubly true of Scorpios sorted into Slytherin?) There is no middle ground here - these wizards can embody all that is the very best in the world... or all that is the very worst. They are heroes, or they are villains. They are attracted to the dark, twisted, and forbidden mysteries of the world from the day they are born, and only they can determine whether they will study the dark arts in order to oppose them, or to embrace them. However, as Scorpio is a sign of transformation and regeneration, it is not impossible for even the most evil of dark wizards to turn to the path of good... Scorpio Slytherins have uncanny wisdom, insight into human psychology, and high "emotional IQ's." They are incredibly ambitious, often exist in a state of total ego, and if misused or hurt, can nurse the wound and seethe for decades. Still, although they are often tempted to do horrible things in the name of glory or discovery, they nevertheless are often the kindest, most compassionate, and most forgiving people of all, for they have seen their own inner darkness, faced it, and do not run from it when they encounter it in others. friendshipRelationships with Scorpio are always complicated, just like the person, their relationships are a series of extremes, they can even be downright moody for no apparent reason. Scorpios are known for their possessiveness and jealousy but on the other hand, they are extremely loyal. Scorpios have an excellent memory and combined with an inability to let things go, they can hold a grudge against someone who did them harm forever, in fact a Scorpio rarely if never forgives and forgets. They will even go as far as get vengeance on the person. On the other hand, they will always remember a kind gesture forever and repay it. Any kind selfless gesture done to a Scorpio will gain trust and respect which is extremely important to them in any relationship, either romantic or not. The best advice is to be honest with a Scorpio friend and in return, you will gain an amazing friend you will never forget and who will be loyal to you and never make false promises. Their truthful and shocking sense of humor if different than that of any other zodiac sign and the Scorpio makes an amazing, powerful interesting friend that can be trusted. businessScorpios make excellent doctors, surgeons, scientists and leaders, they are perfectly suited to any form of business that makes a difference in the world, greatly impacts people and society and a most importantly, Scorpio has to be in a power position, this is why these careers are suited to the Scorpio, they all demand one person in supreme control giving orders and leading a unit of people/practices. In business, Scorpios tend to easily gather wealth, they make very wise business decisions and they are very conservative about spending their money. Scorpios are known for making money and hiding it, they will not announce it due to to fear that others will take the same route and becoming a possible competitor, or worse try to use the Scorpio to their advantage to use them for their money. temperamentScorpios are extremely ambitious, persistent and determined which is shown through a power hungry, controlling attitude. Not in a stubborn sense however, because a Scorpio will work for what they want and control will justified reasons. This is obvious to any onlooker. A Scorpio never gives up, they are so determined to reach their goal. The key to this success is their flexibility. They are able to re-survey a situation and take a different approach if necessary. This makes them very adaptable and versatile. Scorpios are fierce competitors, combined with their powers of observation and their excellent memory, they will recall facts and when necessary, bring them to the table at the time of need. They will win justly, with proper facts and arguments to support their thoughts and opinions. Scorpios are excellent at restoring order to a chaotic situation and they are just as capable of manipulating for their own greed and benefit. The un-evolved Scorpio is a very dangerous person because they use their powers to benefit only them and step on other people in order to satisfy their own greed. deep downScorpio is the most misunderstood of all astrology signs. They are all about intensity and contradictions. They like to be aware of a situation and always know what's going on, figuring this out with their probing mind, on the other hand, they are interested in the occult, the paranormal, conspiracy theories and other types of similar unknown mysteries. They are very capable of hiding their true feelings and motivations, they often have ulterior motives or a hidden agenda. Scorpios are all about control, they need to be in control at all times. To be out of control is very threatening, even dangerous to the Scorpio's psyche, when they control, they feel safe. Scorpios are very emotional, their emotions are intensified, both good emotions and bad. Negative emotions of jealousy and resentment are hallmarks of this turbulent astrology sign. On the other side, Scorpios are well known for their forceful and powerful drive to succeed and their amazing dedication. Scorpios are constantly trying to understand their emotions through finding a deeper purpose in life. Scorpios are very intuitive, but not as in a psychic sense, more as intuitive into the human mind, they have a great understanding of the mystery and the power of the human mind.Scorpios have a fear of failure which they keep hidden extremely well, should their confrontation not be successful, or their career fail, they will simply use their adaptive skill to quickly move and and leave the bad experience behind. Do not ever expect them to fess up or share their tale with anyone however because this shows signs of weakness and Scorpio always wins, they are always the self-proclaimed best! One of the reasons they seem like they always accomplish their goals is because they set tangible short-term goals that they know they can accomplish, they know what they are capable of and this is what they go for. Scorpios are very weary about trusting anyone, a person needs to gain their trust and this gets built up over time and once all the 'trust tests' have been passed, Scorpio loves deeply and intensely. Underneath the cool exterior, energies and emotions are constantly flowing but the Scorpio deals with this be channeling this into useful activities, hobbies, relationships or a career. This is never apparent to the outside observer but knowing this fact explains why Scorpios are so passionate about whatever it is that they are undertaking. Scorpios have powerful instincts and they trust their own gut feeling which is another reason why a Scorpio seldom fails. The ongoing lesson in life for those born under the Scorpio zodiac signs, is to channel their powerful energy into positive goals and not succumbing to the darker forces in life such as manipulation and greed, they will then have great success in their life and have a clean, happy conscience and a circle of friends they can trust and hold dear to them.scorpio suitorThe Scorpio male is unlike any other man of any other astrology sign. He is so unique that a seperate section is needed to explain about dating theScorpio man. Unlike most other zodiac signs, what it's like to date a Scorpio woman is very similar to dating a Scorpio man. The main difference is that instead of presenting a powerful feminine force like the woman, the Scorpio man presents a strong masculine, sexual force. The Scorpio man is easy to seduce and take home for the night, it is much harder to form a real relationship with him. The Scorpio man is very sensitive and feels lonely and unfulfilled, but he will never let a woman know this. Behind closed doors, be sensitive and affectionate to him appeal to his emotions only if you want a close relationship with him do not attempt to lead him on because he will see this and never forgive you. Toying with a Scorpio male is an unwise move. He will be jealous and possessive and will never allow a woman to control him. Let him take the lead because the Scorpio male is truly a fascinating person, you can never go wrong when he is planning the night! Scorpio men are very moody and their moods change like a pendulum on a clock. Stand by his side in these times and it will pass. Do not nag on him for he has a hard enough time understanding his own emotions. Scorpio men make excellent protectors and you will always feel safe under his radiating, passionate and energetic power. [Wand Description:] Birch, 10 ½ inch, Dragon Heartstring core. Finn’s wand is bendy and swishy and has proven handy at charms – although not so much in school, but that was more to do with Finn’s lack of concentration. The wood is stained blood red, and is rough to the touch. The handle a deep burgundy, embossed with gold paint. His wand is heavy, and the knots that adorn the wand stick suggest complication of the owner.[Wand hand:] Finn is right-handed for everything.[Blood type:] Finn is O rhesus negative. O is considered the most common blood group. It is the only one of the blood groups that can be given to any person, regardless of their blood type. However, should Finn need to receive blood, he would only be able to receive blood from someone with the same blood group as himself.[Clothing Style:] Finn tends to dress for his job – suits, shirts, ties, dinner jackets and general upper class business clothing suit his day to day business. However, on a day when he is lounging around, he tends to wear a pair of jeans and a tee shirt or a jumper.[Hair Color/style:] Finn has dark hair, with flecks of dark blonde or caramel thrown in, and a mid-length messy style. [Eye Color:] Deep blue.[Eyewear:] Glasses are the order of the day when migraines present themselves.[Complexion:] Finn has relatively good skin, with a colour that could only be described as verging on olive.[Weight/Bodyshape:] Finn has an average bodyshape, and his weight is neither over nor under what it should be for his height.[Occupation:] Nate owns the nighttime hotspot, Signature in Hogsmeade village. It is a restaurant and burlesque bar, which is always crammed with young and old alike, all desperate to see the gems that wait inside the theatre. A naïve Finn assumed that this club would be of gentlemen’s’ taste only, but he was pleasantly surprised to find that women enjoy the show too.[Income:] Signature, from the word ‘go’, as raked in the money. It attracts the attention of well-known – and more importantly rich – people from all over the globe. Along with his inheritance that he is to receive at the age of twenty-one and the earnings he takes from Signature, Finn is set to be a very rich man.[Location:] Although born and raised in Chippenham, Finn now spends all of his time in Scotland at his club. The club boasts some very fanciful rooms for guests to stay overnight should they wish, and it is no surprise that Finn has the best room of all. Complete with en-suite bathroom and room-service whenever he wishes, the owner could not ask for more.[Transportation:] Apparition seems by far the most attractive form of transportation for Finn. He also owns an electric blue Honda motorbike, much to his father’s displeasure. He also has a Firebolt broomstick, but he only uses this when he plays amateur Quidditch with his friends.[Marital Status:] Finn is very much single. And he is certainly not the type to settle down and commit – calling Finn a one-woman man would be a very naïve statement. He enjoys the thrill of the chase – and oh yes, he does enjoy everything once he has caught his prey, but depending on who she is, the novelty can ware off very quickly. He likes his women hot and prickly, not sickly and sappy as so many have been. He probably will settle down eventually, but most likely not for the next ten years. He intends on enjoying his twenties as much as he can.[Children:] As far as he knows he has no children. He hopes he has none, at least. Not that he wouldn’t be able to support them financially, but moreso he wouldn’t be able to support them emotionally. He does not want to end up like his father, married and with a child at a young age. He certainly does not want to end up worse off than his father, unmarried and with a child at a young age. That would be hell for Finn. Oh yes, he does fancy the idea of being a father at some point in his life, but not until he has tasted all of the delicacies that life has to offer.[Family Information:] Father, mother, sister, paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother.[Pets:] Nathaniel has an owl for correspondence purposes, and a Hungarian Vizler puppy called Trigger, which tends to live in his room. The service staff at the club check in on the puppy every half an hour when Finn is not around to do so himself.[Nemesis:] Finn doesn’t really have a nemesis – who could rival him? He is successful at a very young age and popular. OK, so there are some people who grate on him, but apart from that, Finn’s charming character tends to win most people over.[Interests:] Finn has always been interested in traveling and living in different cultures. Partying has always been second nature to him, too, and it is best when combined with traveling.[Quirks/Vices:] Finn sings in the shower – rather badly. That is the only time you will ever hear him sing. Forget singing in public - that would never happen. He does like to dance in public though, and does so quite frequently. The burlesque girls tend to drag him up on the stage [they like to see him squirm], and make him dance with them in front of a full audience. The first time this happened, he was nervous and had a sick feeling in his stomach. He vowed never to do it again. The second time he was dragged up, he decided he rather enjoyed it. After that, the girls had to struggle to keep him down![Favorite Music Style:] Finn likes music with a strong beat and a heavy baseline. Music that ensures you can feel the rhythm pulsing through your veins.[Favorite Place to Visit:] Finn likes to sneak into Hogwarts every now and then. There is a particular lake in Scotland that Finn likes to visit every now and then, when the troubles of business or personal life are getting the better of him. This lake is small and secluded, and a tranquil place to sit and think.[Book:] Finn likes mystery books – normally with a confident, sex-kitten female protagonist that all the men in the book fall head over heals in love with. He is also into Britsh history, particularly of the monarchs of Britain.[Best Friend:] Finn’s best friend is probably Arius Tristisa, the model and resident Peacock. He spends a lot of his time at Signature, scoping for ‘new talent’ and labeling his azkabait. Finn and Arius make a good team, and seem to compliment each other.[Favorite Number:] Finn loves the number 13. Although most people find it unlucky, Finn has always felt drawn to it for some reason.[Favorite Food:] Finn has a big sweet tooth, and he loves sweet fruit. Strawberries and pineapples are his favourite food by far. Serve him a fruit salad, and he is putty in your hands.[Least Favorite Food:] Finn loathes sprouts. He doesn’t mind cabbage, but he hates sprouts. He isn’t particularly fond of roast dinners, but he would eat one if it was placed in front of him. Oh, and he doesn’t like too much gravy. He loves gravy and chips, but he doesn’t like his dinner swimming in the stuff.[Allergies or Physical Handicaps:] Finn is allergic to prawns. He found that out when he ate a prawn cracker. He tried to convince himself that it was just prawn flavouring that he was allergic too, as he quite liked the look of prawns themselves. He was proven wrong when he ate a prawn and ended up in St.Mungos with a swollen face and throat. It was a real shame, as he did enjoy the momentary taste of the prawn.[Educational Level:] Finn completed his NEWTS successfully, and his grades were as follows:Potions - OTransfiguration - OArithmancy - ODefence Against the Dark Arts - OCharms - E[Personal goal yet achieved:] Finn has started his own successful business. He has achieved his goal. He always knew he wanted to be a successful businessman, but he didn’t know what field to venture into. It wasn’t until his traveling with a friend took him to Asia’s burlesque parlours that he saw the real promise that kind of business could bring.[Boggart:] If Finn were to face a boggart, it would take the shape of death himself. Finn is uncontrollably afraid of dying, or more to the point, afraid of growing old. He always saw himself as Peter Pan, as he never wanted to grow old.[Greatest Strength:] Women. And business. Women, because he knows how to handle even the most hard-faced stone-cold bitch from hell. He can melt hearts – not that he is big headed about it, mind you. He loves a challenge. Yes, he has failed in the past. He would never deny that. It’s all part and parcel of the game. Business is a strong aspect of Finn’s personality. It’s in his blood, both his father and his grandfather were successful business men, and the need to achieve is in Finn’s blood. He is always striving to better himself in any way he can.[Greatest Weakness:] Women, funnily enough. Although he would put women as his biggest strength, they are also his downfall. He gets distracted easily by long smooth legs and flowing locks, and that was always his downfall in school. Not that he sees it as a particular weakness, but his friends have all pointed it out to him.[Add 10 years:] Perhaps Finn will be getting ready to settle down and trying to find himself a steady girlfriend, with [perhaps] the intention of marriage and children cropping up at some point. He is hoping to be the owner of many successful clubs throughout the world, with Signature being his first success.[Musically Inclined:] Finn likes to think he is musically inclined, although others may beg to differ. The only time he ever sings is in the shower – he doesn’t play any musical instruments, but he does have a strong sense of rhythm. He can pull a few impressive moves on the dance floor too![Special Talents:] He is fluent in French, making him a big hit in the suave section. He also has fine knowledge of many alcoholic drinks, including wines, spirits and liqueurs. Oh yes, and his dancing. Skip to next post
Re: Finnley Felixis Grosvenor III: Owner of Signature Nightclub Reply #3 on June 26, 2009, 07:57:31 AM S E L F - P R O C L I M A T I O N[Name:] Finnley Felixis Grosvenor III[Nickname:] Finn[Age:] 20[Height:] 6 foot.[Ethnicity:] British. Skip to next post

Re: Finnley Felixis Grosvenor III: Owner of Signature Nightclub Reply #5 on June 26, 2009, 07:58:24 AM S P O T T E DApril 23rd: signature markA job opening at Signature? Only the most up and coming place in Britain. Anyone who is anyone is there, and for one lucky lady, there is the chance to work there...the only question is, Arianna, can you resist the charm of the owner?April 30th: sunshine on a cloudy dayOur resident rich-boy has stumbled upon a couple of old school-mates having a party at Signature. Well, perhaps 'mates' isn't the best term to describe their relationship. Cue embarassment and apologies...at least from Finnley.May 1st: visiting during rememberance daySo Finnley Grosvenor does have friends? And everyone thought he was a loner with just a club to keep him company....not! The question on everybody's mind, is what will be the topic of conversation on this pair's lips?May 2nd: hogsmedian rouletteFinnley has emerged from his hermit hole. He was spotted at the hogsmedian roulette, chatting to that friend of his...Nate? And an old woman who, rumour has it has been complaining about the club's location...if only she'd go see it for herself.May 4th: not as it seemsStaff causing problems again, Finnley? What a shame, she was the newest member of your team...maybe its time to find out what's been going on in her life.May 5th: remembering day party [everyone]The party is in full swing and everyone is having a good time. Do I spot Arius Tristisa? The local Peacock in cahoots with Hogsmeade's most prominant business man. And what's this? Finnley Grosvenor's younger sister introducing him to her newest friend? The lucky devil.May 6th: remembering day party [adults]A bit of a step-up from the night's earlier escapades. But poor Finnley, is he being rejected in favour of an older bloke? At his own party? What a pity - go on girls, you know you want to comfort him.May 15th: the embrace of the shodding armsNot quite the upper-class party we'd expect Finnley Grosvenor to attend, but a party nontheless. Is he seriously whining over the fact that he's not tied down? Someone needs to pass him a jar of coffee and a glass of water - pronto!.May 20th: the show must go onMajor gossip: Finnley Grosvenor was just seen inviting a man into his private suite. But things aren't always what they seem. The man in question, Altair Gairden has been acting suspiciously lately...if only Finnley knew what we know, perhaps he wouldn't be so inviting...
