Ayla stepped into the first years dorm room and glanced around at the other eleven year olds. It was obvious by the bathrobe and wet hair that she had just come from a shower and the stern annoyed look on her face also made it clear that she wasn't in the mood to be messed with. After catching her little sister's eye she looked around at the rest of the girls, "Out now!"

Surprised by the sudden show of anger by the usually bubbly Hufflepuff the girls looked to Dahlia with a worried expression before doing as instructed and leaving the two sisters alone. Dahlia looked up at her big sister trying to swallow the lump in her throat. She knew Ayla was angry, something that didn't happen very often but for the life of her she couldn't understand why.

"What the hell were you thinking?!" Ayla screamed out once she was alone with her sister.

Dahlia gave her an indignant glare, "What are you talking about?"

Ayla growled, "What do you think I'm talking about? You ruined everything!"

"I ruined it?" Dahlia got to her feet very much aware now that Ayla was talking about her ruined birthday party that had only ended a few hours before. She had expected her sister to be grateful, to thank her for doing such an amazing job at protecting her. She was expecting hugs and kisses not screams, "Those stupid girls were the ones that ruined it."

Ayla was practically bouncing on the spot, she couldn't believe how stupid and naive her sister was being, "Do you have any idea who those girls were? Beatrix Dark is a prefect, she could probably have you suspended for attacking her and Bellatrix has made a career out of torturing and jinxing first years, she's going to kill you the first chance she gets." Ayla threw his arms up in frustration, "What the hell were you thinking Dahl?"

Dahlia's expression of indignation was becoming more and more prominent, "I was thinking I was saving your butt."

"I had everything under control."

"Not from where I was standing."

"Dahlia you completely humiliated me! Now everyone in school is going to think I need a stupid first year to fight all my battles for me!"

Dahlia swallowed hard again, she could feel tears welling up in her eyes. Not only had Ayla never yelled at her in her life, she had never called her stupid before. She sat back down on the edge of her bed, she didn't think it was possible to feel any worse, "I was just trying to help."

Ayla was still furious at not just Dahlia but the whole situation. She was angry with Tawse for getting her into this mess, she was furious with Bea and Bella for having the gall to ruin her party and she was seriously angry at Dahlia for petrifying the twins, "Well next time you feel like helping me, don't! Oh and while we're at it when you're trying to help someone, insulting them in front of all their friends isn't the best way to do it."

"Ay-"

"Just a third year with short hair and braces? Seriously Dahl you may as well have called me butt ugly and in front Blake no less." Ayla herself was getting wet around the eyes, "I can't believe you'd do that." Dahlia opened her mouth to defend herself the tears flowing freely down her face now but Ayla cut her off, "Just don't okay? I don't wanna hear. Don't look at me, don't talk to me, just leave me the hell alone. For the smartest girl in your year you can be really stupid sometimes Dahl, just stay the hell away from me okay? Get your own life and stay the hell out of mine!" Ayla spun on her heels and marched out of the first years room leaving her little sister a sobbing mess curled up with her teddy bears.
