Note: Even if one manages to get to one of these locations, an unauthorized floo will result in the person being rejected. One of the security measures put in place by her father years and years ago makes it so that only those containing Grumman blood may come and go as they please. This is the same for anyone who wishes to Apparate or use a portkey to the home.

Lower Level (Cellar)



The lower level of runs the full length of Tyen Manor and serves two very useful purposes, but only one of which most visitors even know about. Tyen Manor boasts of an extensive wine cellar which seems to go for days and days with wine from every corner of the earth and every era imaginable. Then, of course, there is some good Russian hard liquor stored there as well as nearly any kind of magical brew imaginable. Something to quench the thirst for every pallette that passes through Tyen's doors.



The seemingly endless racks of wine mask the secondary purpose of the lower levels.  An impatient mind would never be able to make it beyond them to see that it eventually gives way to something more.



For almost as long as the Grummans have lived here, so to have their collection of Serpents. Of importance to the magical world are several runespoors, of which Grummans have been caretakers for generations. In fact, there has always been a parselmouth in the family and that has aided in the ability to care for several of the creatures with deadly venom.
