    About You, the Writer:
    Your Nickname: Nick
Have you read and do you agree to the Code of Conduct & Guidelines?: I have.
How did you find us and decide to write with us? Rpg-D.  Liked the originality and the opportunities on the board
If you have written other characters here, list them all: None

    Full Character Name: Koujirou Nakamura
    Character Birthday & Age:  November 23rd 1983, 25
City & Country of Birth:  Small wizarding village located near Tokyo, Japan.[
    Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn?: Pureblood
    Alma Mater: Home Schooled
Occupation:  Koujirou is an arms dealer and specializes in the construction and distribution of illegal, unregistered wands.  He is also a prominent figure in the smuggling of various silver and goblin made swords into the country.  Customers for these types of arms tend to be the werewolf hate groups that Koujirou has no qualms in dealing with.  On odd occasions arms dealing comes second to providing man power, at a higher price of course, weapons are not included...

Type of Criminal: Prominently an Arms Dealer

Allegiances / Loyalties / Political Faction:  Koujirou has no loyalties, other than to himself and to money.  He is a very shallow, narcissistic man who believes himself above everyone and everything.  Of course his opinions of self importance do not prevent him from working closely with political factions, though which ones, depend upon who pays the most.  One thing is clear however and that is that he is a dark mage through and through.  His exposure to shady types has only increased his lust for power and disaster.

Previous Convictions or Crimes?:  None.  Koujirou is something of a ghost and only the closest, wealthiest clients ever get to meet with him directly.  Instead he uses lesser people to do his work for him; they tend to be Slytherin alumni who cannot get work in classy establishments as a result of their school records.  Even these employees rarely meet the brains behind the whole operation, instead dealing with Koujirou’s Truth Teller, Kazuya.

What crimes might you commit in the future?  Discuss all possible: Aside from his common crimes such as arms dealing and providing the man power for dark operations, there are numerous things which are not bellow Koujirou.  He has been known to commit murder when it suits him and indeed this is something which he has come to enjoy.  With murder comes torture and manipulation and when he cannot control people through his charismatic nature he is not below using magic to help him achieve it.  Other serious crimes which he has no troubles associating himself with include slave trading, both in human’s and house elves.

Are you currently under pursuit by the Ministry of Magic?: Yes.  Arms trading has become a lucrative business what with all the trouble that has been brewing; as a result several Aurors are attempting to infiltrate the groups that supply those deemed dangers to society with their means of war.  Although Koujirou is not being pursued personally his organization's downfall is highly desired, even if the ministry don’t quite know where to start.

Wand Description: African Blackwood with a Chimera Scale Core.  An extremely rare core, the Chimera Scale housed within Koujirou’s wand is not only powerful when casting dark spells it also seems to have a considerable talent for making Transfiguration easy.  Koujirou’s weapon of choice seems to defy all wand making rituals as despite his small stature it is extremely long, 15” in fact.  It is long and slender yet is relatively inflexible, reflecting its masters iron will and perhaps a hint that he will never change his ways.

    Physical Description:

Build/Body type:  Koujirou is by no means a strong man, standing at a mere five foot six he was never going to be the body builder type, what he is however is extremely lean and well defined.  Through extensive martial arts training and distaste for most fat containing foods Koujirou’s weight fluctuates between 120-135 pounds, with an extremely low body fat percentage, something between 5 and 8%.  His body type is perfect for providing agility, super human strength however is above him, even if he does look good.

Estimated Height/Weight:  Koujirou stands at a very modest Five Foot Six and weighs around 130 Pounds.
Hair colour: His hair is naturally black and although the colour may change every now and again the style remains the same.  It is just under shoulder length, with a long wavy side fringe and generally messy on top, he takes great pride in his personal appearance and his hair is no exception.

    Eye color: Dark Brown

Skin color: Tanned.  Asian blood gives him a naturally tanned complexion so he does not need to do anything to upkeep it.

First Impression:  One's first impression upon meeting Koujirou is generally very good.  He is an extremely good looking young man and he has a charming, sophisticated personality.   These in combination with a good dress sense makes most women putty in his hands, initially.  He does extremely well to hide his inner feelings and only when around Koujirou for extended periods of times do people truly see the real side of him.  It may just be a snide remark or a facial expression when he thinks they are not looking, whatever form it comes in though, he never fails to produce.

Any odd/outstanding features?: Nothing odd to note.

Personality Description:  As already stated, first impressions of Koujirou are good, he is very well spoken and extremely intelligent, a joy to speak to for those who are interested in sophisticated conversation.  It is only when you spend some real time with him you will realise his darker features, most of which stem from an undiagnosed narcissistic personality disorder.  It is no doubt the result of both a combination of excessive criticism when he was a child at the hands of his father; this in combination with mild physical abuse gives Kuojirou an extremely flawed outlook on life and himself.  He would never admit it but deep down he has a strong feeling of inadequacy, it is the driving force behind his quest for power and status and although he seems on the outside to be everything a wizard should be, inside he is locked in constant battle with his own thoughts and feelings.  The overriding features of his condition are; an incomprehension of other people’s views.  Koujirou also displays a severe lack of empathy for anyone, probably why he finds doing what he does so easy and enjoyable.  Finally he reacts extremely badly towards any form of criticism.  He often flies off into a rage at the slightest hint of question, feeling humiliated and defensive, his closest colleagues [For he has no friends] know to vacate any room they share with him when he gets into a narcissistic rage.  During these strops he often looses all rational judgement, leaving himself vulnerable, Koujirou dispels all defensive qualities, flying into attacks with little heed of the consequences.  His lack of empathy helps him in his manipulation of those around him and his poetic elegance and handsome exterior make gaining peoples trust an easy feat.

Activities which appeal to his nature include, theatre productions, ballroom dancing and lavish dinner parties.  He holds little interest in magical sports like quidditch, considering such activities as distasteful.  When in the comforts of his own home he enjoys reading and admiring his rare magical artefacts.  A real book worm he delves into extremely advanced branches of dark magic.  Without any real redeeming personal qualities Kuojirou hides behind his magical ability as a way of making himself feel superior to others.  He has no time for anyone but himself and believes that he is superior to people on all levels.  He also keeps up with his martial arts training, being of Japanese descent his family have warrior blood, the result is a mage who is not only well versed in magic but also highly trained in various martial arts, including karate and bushido.

Despite his magical and technical prowess however Kuojirou is a coward.  He hides behind those people he uses to do his dirty work and would never meet an adversary head on unless he absolutely had too.  Kuojirou uses people and has no friends, nor has he had any long term relationships.  When people out live their usefulness he either discards them or disposes of them.  Under all the front he is a lonely individual who has to make do with his own company, and although he may appear to be happy with this, he is not.  For all the flaws one cannot discard Kuojirou’s iron will and determination.  Both in combination with his ambition and lust for power have propelled him into a highly desirable position.  His business is lucrative and at only twenty five years old Kuojirou has more money than he knows what to do with.

Like most criminals Kuojirou holds a strong love for material wealth, believing that material items are the best way in which someone can display their inner feelings.  He is a shallow man who would sell out most individuals for self gain, though those that work closely with him may not realise it.  Another quality which seriously hinders his ability to get things done is the love Kuojirou holds for the sound of his own voice.  There has been more than one occasion where Kuojirou has had a rival at his mercy but allowed him to squirm free after flying head long into a huge monologue.  During these moments he often contributes most of his attention to formulating poetic speech patterns and metaphorical jokes, providing those in his grasp windows of opportunity to turn the tables.  Despite being the magical and physical genius that he is, as one delves further and further into his personality it becomes all too clear that Kuojirou’s worst enemy is himself.  His beliefs and loves seriously hinder him and his pride may one day be the death of him.

    History:

Born into a Pureblooded Japanese family life was hard for Kuojirou, who grew up without a mother, the son of the Japanese equivalent of an Auror.  He never experienced any real affection during his childhood years and he was often on the wrong end of some violent beatings.  His father used to say that he was “beating the magic to the surface.”  As Kuojirou was a late bloomer, only displaying magical talent around the age of seven or eight.  As soon as the first sign of magic overflowed from the young child, his father conscripted the help of Kuojirou’s uncles and grandfather to assist in his schooling.  Japanese magical training varies considerably from the British method and although magical schools can be found throughout the country it had been a thousand year old tradition of the Nakamura family to train its own wizards and for one thousand years they had produced some of the most successful warriors and politicians ever to grace the land of the rising sun.  With such good genetics Kuojirou was under immense strain to perform the most difficult of magical tasks to perfection.  By the time British children were being sorted into their houses at Hogwarts, the mentally defected young Kuojirou was performing O.W.L standard magic, by the time he was fourteen he would have had the magical ability to run rings around N.E.W.T standard Hogwart students.  In combination with learning magic from the highly skilled users within his family Kuojirou also learned the way of the sword, amongst other martial arts.  His father had been a champion dueller in his teenage years and in his village duelling including swordsmanship as well as exchanging magical hexes.  Kuojirou inherited his father’s skills, dispatching adversaries from all across Japan in annual dueling competitions.  Until he was eighteen the teenager was held somewhat as a captive within his village, he was to learn everything his father had to teach him and when he so much as questioned his parent’s teachings he was fiercely beaten.  He grew up believing he deserved everything he got and vowed to strive to improve, unfortunately for Kuojirou nothing was or would ever be enough, for even when his father passed a part of him remained within his son.  He hears his father’s voice when all is quiet, it speaks of his dissatisfaction in his son, a serious mental defect it is the cause of the Narcissistic disorder that rules his life.

Kuojirou Nakamura moved to Britain aged eighteen, after his father died he was bestowed his father’s title within the Japanese Ministry though he declined the offer to become a warrior of the state.  His first intentions upon arriving on the island were to become an Auror within the British ministry.  His motivation behind such a decision was down to the rumours he heard floating around during the flight over.  Seemingly it was nigh impossible to get into the Auror training programme.  After a well placed bribe by his Japanese uncle, the British ministry overlooked his Japanese citizenship and allowed him to sit the tests to determine whether or not he was good enough.  Unsurprisingly he passed without problems, though rejected the offer to enter the training programme as he deemed it somewhat below him.  From that moment on he vowed to achieve something which had eluded all those whom had attempted it.  Perhaps rather childishly he decided to go against the system, simply because he could, in an attempt to find a challenge befitting his intelligence.  After building up a rapport with shady sorts, gaining contacts within and outside the country in a move which lasted around three years Kuojirou entered the arms dealing business.

His first moves were to eliminate all competition, he did so through a combination of murder and manipulation, for his manipulative ways were too much for many to resist, with the promise of gold and status Kuojirou managed to subdue many of those whom he had performed meagre tasks for in order to gain their trust and contacts.  The rest were dealt with during the night of the 18th, it was a cold and snowy December, 1987.  Whilst most wizards were preparing for the festive period Kuojirou was hell bent on not only dealing with those who refused to work with him, but determined to send out a cold message to the rest of the criminal world.  The process in which they met there end was so gruesome the writers of the prophet who covered the murders could not bring themselves to even think of attributing the killings to another human being.  Large claw like gashes from one end of a body to the other riddled the corpses of the six men lying with their faces buried in the snow.  The slashes, despite what the papers believed, were not the result of werewolf claws but the work of the katana.  It was the first time Kuojirou had murdered and that night he single handed, dispatched six of the ministries most wanted men.  It seemed totally incomprehensible that the killings were a coincidence and some of the public did consider criminal activity, the Auror office however in an attempt to keep public order backed the Prophet’s claims that the murders were the responsibility of the werewolf community.  More killings would follow, the body of Alexander Crook [A notorious hit wizard] on the 20th, followed by his most wealthy client, the arms dealer Jessop Jones on the 23rd.  Like the others the nature of their deaths was not magical, leading to something of a scandal as small groups began claiming some sort of werewolf revolution was in progress.  The candles of the ministry uncovered and disposed of Kuojirou’s handy work, the seedy underground of Wizarding society was shocked at the loss of so many of their most important members.  After the December massacre Kuojirou began enjoying the fruits of his labour, attending dinner parties and theatre productions with a new woman on his arm every night.

By day he stayed locked away in his manor located somewhere within the Scottish highlands.  It is rumoured to be lavish and grand, though the strong fidelus charm cast upon it and the surrounding fields makes it impossible for the rumours to be confirmed.  The secret keeper of the grand structure is Kazuya, Kuojirou’s truth teller, and the only person in the world he remotely trusts.  Within his walls he would do business with extremely notorious individuals, some needed wands, others needed swords, whether they bought in single digits or bulk however Kuojirou accommodated them.

Up until a year ago he did business this way, face to face with those whom he meant to supply, building up a relationship with them in a rather macabre way.  He saw them as his angels of death, demons which he armed and sent into civilisation to turn it upside down.  It provided him with a strong sense of self worth and importance, whilst at the same time providing him with the luxuries of life.  It was only after a business deal gone wrong did he begin hiring lesser individuals to do his bidding for him.  It kept his face out of sight and allowed him to play god with the pawns of his organisation, so although he lost the personal relationship with clients he still managed to maintain the power and control he desired.  Unemployed graduates who are lured with the promise of a job which pays better than any honest work become like putty in Kuojirou’s hands as they meet clients and take payments for weapons they never see and as they do so another soul is sold to Kuojirou as another cog is put into the machine which is the arms dealing business.

The actual weapons are either imported or constructed within Kuojirou’s own manor.  Shady second rate wands and other crude edged weapons are imported from petty suppliers outside the country.  The higher rate equipment, the construction of which takes place under Kuojirou’s own gaze, is done so by goblins and wand makers who live either in or around the manor house.  The wands are of a reasonable quality and the effectiveness depends upon the price paid by the client.  Suffice to say these illegally produced wands are not good those made by the likes of Ollivander but they are a good alternative for the criminal on the run.  The swords are the products which Kuojirou's organisation excel in producing, both in terms of quality and quantity.  Goblins held within his ranks produce fine contemporary weapons, though Kuojirou himself is well versed in the process of forging Japanese style blades.  It is worth noting that the prices for these goods are near extortionate, as a result of him being the only alternative for criminals to go too..  The goblins and wand makers who construct such equipment are either paid lucrative salaries or held against their will, no matter how it gets done however, the results are the same.

Whilst all this goes on Kuojirou walks amongst society, attending social functions held by high ranking ministry members!  He allows his money to speak for him and keeps the public onside by donating large sums to good causes.  For people are fickle, when the plebs love you, the wolves stay away.  By throwing around money and smiling he has gotten himself on the guest list to the minister of magic’s own private dinner parties, everyone loves the rich philanthropist, while their eyes gaze upon him with pride, his darker side is allowed to ruin society right under their noses.

The wind outside rattled against the windows of Kuojirou’s office as all in attendance sat in silence.  The rain pelting the glass was like music to his ears, it was a lovely sound, nature at its finest.  In his chair he sat, behind a large black wooden desk, his eyes closed as he waved the index finger of his right hand left and right, conducting the weather outside the room.  It was an awkward moment as his generals, dotted around the office simply stared at him, willing Kuojirou to speak with the client seated on the opposite side of the desk.  Finally the tension was broken as Kuojirou’s poetic voice rang out around the room rather unexpectedly

“Funny isn’t it?  How the heavens can simply open up and we all scurry in doors, dropping whatever it was we were doing to seek shelter from the wrath held within the clouds.  I rather enjoy standing outside in the rain.....”  The client and all in attendance exchanged rather worried expressions, for it was when Kuojirou began talking in an incomprehensible manner there was usually something wrong.  Opening his eyes he gazed around the office and all who were within it.  It was a nice office, paintings were hung upon dark, polished wooding walls and an expensive blood red carpet extended the length of the floor.  His eyes fell upon the bookcases, within them books of an illegal nature were perched upon the shelves, behind one of them a secret passageway lay hidden, for special circumstances.  The dim light offered by the candelabras dotted around the corners of the room barely illuminated Kuojirou’s features giving him a rather eerie quality.  After giving himself a tour of his own office he focussed his attention upon the man seated opposite him.

His name was Jack Watson, a delinquent fresh out of Azkaban whom had been sent to Kuojirou by a wealthy client of his.  Some leader of a werewolf hate group of some sort, Kuojirou could not quite remember what it was the man did, indeed it wasn’t important; no matter what they needed them for those who came to him always desired one thing.  Sighing Kuojirou relaxed into his chair waving his hand, allowing the man to speak, he did so with a heavy northern accent.

“I’m here for Mr Warrington sir, he placed an order for some wands and some silver bladed weaponry.  I was sent on his behalf to give you this gold and take the goods of your hands....”

Lifting his right arm he revealed a velvet bag, from the size and shape of it Kuojirou estimated the bag to contain around ten thousand golden galleons.  Kuojirou motioned for him to place it upon the desk, upon which it was gathered up by one of his generals.

As the money changed hands Kuojirou spoke.  “That bag looks light, does it feel light to you Kazuya?”  His voice was cold and as the words rolled of his tongue the man named Kazuya smiled wickedly.  Unfastening the bonds which kept the velvet purse sealed he tipped it on to the desk, letting the flows of gold rush out across the table.  Stepping back he allowed Kuojirou to speak with Mr Jack Watson, his words were short and straight to the point

“Count it....” A worried Jack stuttered before asking Kuojirou to repeat himself, he did so in a warmer fashion, prompting the man to count the cold upon the table.  Perhaps he knew that he had been “busted” but as he began counting the golden coins upon the desk his hands shook.  The fear which seemed to seep from Jack’s every orifice please Kuojirou, who smiled as coin after coin was separated from the main pile, each golden coin counted bringing the messengers doom closer to hand.

After perhaps fifteen minutes of counting his voice sounded, almost a whisper, terrified of what was going to follow the divulgence of information.]“......ten and a half thousand......”

His head lowered in shame Kuojirou asked him the amount again, for the benefit of those in attendance, Jack spoke once more, his voice louder this time.

“There’s ten and a half thousand sir.”  Kuojirou leant forward his arms folded as he gazed deep into the man’s eyes, shaking his head slowly from side to side he spoke softly, almost as if he was trying to comfort the man.

“Jack, Jack look at me.  It’s not enough; it’s almost fifteen thousand short.....”  Tears had begun to roll down Jack Watson’s face by now, Kuojirou would guess he was around twenty odd years old, a waste of life in his opinion and as wands were unsheathed behind him he began to plead with a rather uninterested Kuojirou

“Sir I never knew, I’m just the messenger, Sir I never knew.”

In true Kuojirou fashion he answered the man, little emotion in his voice, a look of blank contentment upon his features, “Only when blood is spilled do those who do a man wrong understand the true extent of their mistakes.  The scarlet hue has an uncanny ability to get a man what he desires, its so much more effective than any potion.  I want the rest of my money, so you see my hands are tied, my bonds are tight.....!”

Jack Watson’s eyes widened as three cruciatus curses cast from separate men collided with his body, sending pain, unimaginable to any onlooker coursing through his veins.  A few of the newly promoted generals in attendance cringed for the man but Kuojirou simply remained in his seat, he had taken to conducting once more, waving his index finger to the tune of the man’s cries.  Only after a few minutes did they cease, his body passing out from the agonizing ordeal, offering Jack Watson a brief respite.  As the crying ceased Kuojirou spoke to his truth teller Kazuya [

“I feel composed, do I look composed?”

Kazuya, a man of similar height to Kuojirou and dressed in the finest black dress robes money could buy smiled as he replied, “If you truly feel composed my friend why do you need me to clarify it?  You are still uptight, far from the composed state which you seek....”

Sighing Kuojirou rose from his seat, his left hand swung wildly at the golden candlestick set upon the desk, sending it clattering against the wall, “Well how can I stay calm when people like Warrington are trying to fuck me over?”

Pointing his finger at the unconscious heap on the floor he spat. “Take him to the celler, find out where Warrington is held up then kill him.  Send him the fools head and tell him he can keep the ten and a half thousand as a bonus!” His henchmen hastened to carry out his orders, two men picking the unconscious Jack to his feet and leading him out of the room, a third gathering up the gold preparing to return it to Mr Warrington.

Massaging his temple Kuojirou’s moment of respite was broken by Kazuya

“Kuojirou, do not let it worry you, we shall take care of Warrington, you have a party to get ready for, go, leave the rest of tonight’s business to me. “  He nodded in his masters direction, smiling as he did so.  Shaking his head Kuojirou gathered up his overcoat from the chair he had been seated upon then exited the office.  This whole escapade had ruined his party mood but he had to make an appearance, Kuojirou felt he could not enjoy himself ever again, not until Warrington lay dead for his insult.  Smiling as he descended the marble staircase he praised himself for his keen observations.  No one could out smart him, he knew as soon as the bag lay in his hand the debt had not been settled, imagine a pleb like Warrington thinking he was better than him!  He would pay the highest of prices for his stupidity, Kuojirou would make sure of it.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Koujirou is a beautiful, sophisticated narcissist who has an uncanny ability to manipulate his way to whatever he wants.  He is a magnificent mage yet his magical prowess is rarely put on display, for he prefers to hide behind his henchmen than fight his own corner.  He longs for friendship yet the way he acts makes any long term meaningful relationship an impossibility.  Only if he met someone as disturbed as himself would he gain that which he desires more than all the money in his Gringotts vault.
