On paper, he has all the necessary requisites to be a knock-out: cleft chin, sharp blue eyes, tanned skin, shaggy salt-and-pepper hair. There is something in the bonestructure that makes him exotic without being particularly easy to look at. He has hard features which are likewise hard to read.

Any odd/outstanding features?: He’s got a scar on his jaw that runs down nearly to his jugular.
Personality Description:
Florian, most people would say, doesn’t have a personality. He is not particularly emotive, doesn’t respond to jokes, insults, blackmail, or bribes – at least not in a physical or discernible way. Florian prefers to get even silently. Subtly. Quietly. He’s a silent and solitary drinker, but enjoys the company of a pretty woman from time to time and a likewise silent drinking partner who knows not to get too friendly or ask too many questions.
Florian prefers people come to him – but doesn’t particularly do anything to invite them over – and yet has some degree of success in maintaining conversation, once it does come around. In the circles he runs in, he’s found value in not prying; he doesn’t like it himself and has found that, ironically, people like him are much more interested in talking to people who don’t go looking for information.
History:
Florian, most people would say, also doesn’t have much of a history. He was born to an exceedingly wealthy family of wizards in a small town, where they were village royalty, the town being founded by his ancestry and ruled over by them in feudal times. His family had been advisors and much intermarried with the Piast dynasty of Poland, which founded and ruled Poland from the 9th century until 1296 A.D., at which time the rulership changed to the mysterious Přemyslid dynasty, known for its occult affiliations. The Wiesniski family still remained advisors, now to the Přemyslids, making their association dubious. But they were magical and very powerful – no one questioned them.
In more recent times, the prestige of the family has dwindled along with, and primarily owing to the diminishing of funds. It was at this time that his grandfather married a Muggle – tainting the bloodline some, but in so doing rejuvenating the family funds considerably, restoring them to a level of opulence they were once more comfortable with. Florian’s not strictly purist: on the one hand, he feels a sort of connection with them; on the other, he blames his grandfather's marriage to the Muggle for the magical downfall of his family, and the loss of prestige and power that came with it--notwithstanding the great wealth.
Growing up thinking he was quite a significant member of his community did not well prepare him for Durmstrang, where he was comparatively negligible. Durmstrang paid him little notice, and as soon as he was done with the school--or it may be more accurate to say the school was done with him--he put it behind him for other pursuits. .
Florian was not certain which career to choose until, looking at family finances, he realised he might not need to. Florian then “took time off”—about fourteen years--to travel about East and Western Europe--with frequent visits to various locales in the Middle East, living for a few years here and there before relocating back to Poland, finding that the the nomadic life didn’t fit him as well as he might have liked and the nomadic life liked him no better. He tried being interested in a few things: martial arts, art, weapons, but did not find anything particularly captivating save for a love of artifacts and antiquities of all cultures. He has been a notable contributor to his Muggle heritage: trying to push research and activists for Muggleborns to improve their situation, and occasionally spreading his influence out more broadly to support the creatures of the magical community: centaurs and goblins, particularly.
However, in an attempt to build various networks for business, it appears some loyalties had been crossed and he’d made conflicting friends on both sides of the line. Rather than choose, he left—it seemed the surest way to stay alive. By now, Piekary felt too small, and the rest of the world, too big. Florian sat uneasily in his mansion in Piekary , resenting the place and the feeling he continually had: that he was being watched. Now a year after returning to Poland, some of his trouble from abroad seems to have followed him home, and he’s gone to England for a brief spell in order to lie low. Take in the culture. But the beer’s terrible.
Sum up your character in one paragraph:
Florian is the “strong and silent” type due to, presumably, a good deal of self-centreness that still lingers from his childhood and a likely case of apathy. Still, he doesn’t mind good company of the non-prying sort. Especially if they come with drinks, opportunities, or money-making potential. He’s looking for a place where people won’t ask too many questions, where he can, perhaps, even find a niche.
