(OPEN) on March 30, 2010, 10:34:28 AM Outfit Piper smiled walking into a greenhouse. It was her second favorite place on the grounds. She didn't really like most of the magical plants that inhabited it but there were still some normal ones. The first favorite was just outside in general. She ran her fingertips lightly over the petals feeling the different textures and seeing the different colors and shapes. It was a sort of ecstasy for her. Her fingers lingered on a Lily. They were one of her favorites. Roses beat out them all. She knew that everyone liked roses but she really loved them. It was so amazing to her that the flowers could still be going strong in early October but that was the magic of the greenhouse and heating not really magic. In her head though she considered it to be supernatural. How can dirt, a seed, and water produce something so beautiful in every way. When she was back at her house her room was filled with all sorts of flowers. The scent was intoxicating. That was one of the main reasons she loved nature so much. The scent! A beautiful thing gives off a beautiful scent. Even the rain outside had a certain smell that just made her smile. She knew she could be herself around nature and not just a people pleasure. It got so tiring after awhile. Trying to study to please teachers but not be to smart that the other students begin to hate her. She picked up a flower pot containing a rose and walked over to the far wall. As she began to sit down she dropped the pot and watched in horror as it shattered. "NO!" She screamed dropping and scooping up all the glass. As her fingers began bleeding from all the cuts she was getting but she couldn't use magic for something so innocent as a flower. It would tarnish it and that was unacceptable. Blood droplets hit the dirt as she picked up the rose and frantically looked for another flower pot. "Why isn't there a freaking flower pot in a freaking greenhouse!!??" She said dropping to the floor. She layed down beside the rose sniffling. "I'm so sorry Rose...All of the pots are in use and you wouldn't last outside." Tears began rolling down her cheeks and onto the floor. She killed something. She had never killed anything in her life. Maybe accidentally stepped on a bug or something but never to her knowledge. It was alive for the time being but it would die soon enough. She wasn't willing to mix up flowers or bunch them together. They didn't like that very much. Her eyes closed as she lay there with the flower trying to enjoy it while it lasted not even caring about the cold or the blood. As long as the flower was happy she was happy, as crazy as that sounded. It didn't matter how over dramatized the situation was. She was sad and in pain so she was going to make a big deal. Her emotions sometimes overpowered how people should realistically react but no one was around to see her so it was a perfect time to let all of her emotions from the past week out in the open. He couldn't be sure, but he thought it sounded like Piper Walsh, one of his classmates. Wondering what was going on, he cautiously entered the greenhouse. Looking around, he could see Piper, clutching a rose like her life depended on it. He could also see the broken shards of a flowerpot almost in front of Piper. That explained the scream. " Piper?" Josh said quietly, but loud enough she could likely hear him. 鄭re you OK?" Skip to next post Re: Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair... She failed and just wiped her eyes with her wrists so she wouldn't get anything on her face. Standing up she put on a big smile and walked over to him. "Hello Joshua. What um...Brings you here?" He was in a few of her classes and she knew he wasn't a bad guy bu she wouldn't look him in the eye not really wanting him to see her bloodshot eyes even though he already knew what she was doing. She looked down at the rose and ever so lightly set it next to a flower pot. "I'm sorry you had to see that. It won't happen again." She sniffled really milking the fake smile. She smiled looking around until he brought up emotion. "I know it's alright to show emotion. I just don't like to show other people bad emotions." She used to be called a crybaby all the time and after that she made a huge effort to not be called something like that again. It didn't stop people from calling her weird or stupid, but that was mainly an act. She acted naive and people thought it was cute or funny so she kept it up most of the time. "Hah what would you have done if I were actually in trouble? God that would be something. I think I'd be really glad to see you. Not that I'm not happy to see you now just I would be happier if I were in trouble." She shook her head hoping he would understand and not take offense. No emotion genuinely felt is a bad emotion. You should not believe anyone who tells you differently." Josh said, he had guessed she had dropped a flowerpot from the smashed one near her. He wouldn't be reporting it, not that she would have been punished anyway.的 think you are trying to say you would prefer it if you actually needed help when people think you do." Josh said, he hadn't taken offense, though it had taken him a few seconds to figure out what she meant. Skip to next post Re: Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair... I know about emotions I just think people tend to like me more when I only show them my good sides." She hit herself over the head. It happened all to often that she would twist her words into submission so they made no sense or sounded rude. He was also a prefect and she sounded like she was insulting him, which was the last thing on earth she wanted to do. Not just because he was a prefect but also because he didn't deserve it. She probably wouldn't have said something mean if he had deserved it either. " Yes I meant that I am happy someone heard and took notice just in case I was in trouble. Though I will probably need to get a new flower pot and look!" She held up the rose. "Now the poor thing is going to die. Can you believe it?! I can't believe I hurt the poor flower. I should probably get my hand fixed up a little bit later too. Right now though, it's fine." Skip to next post Re: Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair... As for the flowerpot, why not use Reparo on it?" Josh suggested, not seeing the logic of not repairing the flowerpot instead of replacing it. He didn't know of any spells on the pots, so they were not irreparable, repairing the flowerpot would also solve the issue of the rose. I guess I just don't always automatically go to magic so solve all of my problems." She looked down at her hands. They were starting to ache. When she looked it became all to clear that they were bleeding profusely. "Oh crap Josh! I didn't even notice that I was cutttt." She laughed. "I'll go get it fixed up later!"
