[Nov 1] The Season Change (Ciarra; Open) on March 28, 2010, 11:20:58 AM How long had it been since he had been out and about? It wasn't like Aureliane hadn't been capable of going out and having a life, but just trying to remember and remind her of what they had done took some creative thought on his end. But now she was doing a lot better and Cyrus, after his extended absence, decided it was time to head back to work. To help motivate him and get himself moving he started working out. He had even gone as far as to enlist the help of the recently returned Ciarra Belisario. A life long friend. He was out early than the time they had promised to meet, mostly because he was the one who needed to work, not Ciarra. As a matter of fact, Ciarra looked better than she ever had before previously to her absence. Her new boss, mentor, or whatever made it rough for her, but from the way she talked about it she was greatful. She, as a matter of fact, seemed rather smitten for her new boss. Which was something very unlike her.Stretching, he made sure he got out all the kinks before he put any of his unused muscles to work. He wasn't completely out of shape, but it was enough that he knew it would be a bad idea to just bust out into a sprint. He was at a park, not too far out of London, but it became a regular spot for him and his wife. Even though there was a park right across from the apartments they stayed in, (apartments owned by Alexander Belisario) they liked the more open feeling that came from this place. Plus the bonus of being a wizard is being able to apparate to places that weren't really close by.He waited as it came time for Ciarra to be showing up, and lately she was always punctual. Either the werewolves were being smart and laying low or were just waiting in the background plotting. It didn't really matter to her, but it seemed odd. Vane and her went from busy to bored entirely too fast. And she wasn't even sure where Vane had been in the last couple days. She was in her, what could be considered, work uniform. Adorned in black from head to toe, and her weighted long coat. The coat, by itself weighed over a hundred pounds. She had worn it so long that she didn't even feel its pressure on her back. The extra weight had been what built up her strength over the course of her training. She was stronger and more in shape now than she ever had been in her life. Her flexibility and agile reactions from before her training with Vane actually became faster, more precise and easier. And she did all of that faster in her weighted coat, she couldn't even imagine what she would be able to do with it off.She came running along and ran up and hugged Cyrus the moment she saw him, "Cyrus! I hope you weren't waiting long. I had been hoping to catch Vane this morning but it doesn't seem like he wants me to find him at the moment." She offered him a warm smile. "How's Aureliane?"Ciarra was even closer friends with Aureliane. She remembered the mess she often got into with Aureliane, and the trouble she occasionally found herself in with Cyrus. IT was a rare connection to her childhood that she often forgot about. Perhaps because most of the time she had been spending it trying to impress her Father. Strange how things had changed. When your schedule permits, of course," He gave her a smile and hugged her back in return. Ciarra was a busy woman, but that seemed to be the nature of anyone bearing the name Belisario. But just like her Father, she had left the Ministry. No longer an Auror, which felt strange. Regardless he still needed to talk to Alex about some things of concern. He heard some rumors about things that had occured in the French Ministry. But that was after months and months of silence. Considering Aureliane's parents were within the French Ministry it was something of concerned. However, Cyrus got an unmarked letter simply stating. "I'll take care of it." The handwriting unmistakably Alex's. Then months later the issue, whatever it had been had been resolved. And the French Ministry had honored Alex before his departure in the service he had done for them. Which strangely enough was classified so next to no one knew what he had done. Even the Daily Prophet which had announced Alex's return and subsuquent leave of the Ministry, stated that he had a vague description of his leave to France, with no clear reason as to why.Ciarra had left shortly after her Father. Supposedly following after him, but it didn't last long from what he gathered. Alex had introduced her to a man named Vane Hendric. Werewolf Hunter, and asked for him to train Ciarra. Vane said yes and put Ciarra through a long winded set of vigorous test and tasks. She survived, and now she was back, a werewolf hunter herself, trained by arguably the best there was. And she looked great because of it. Cyrus couldn't help but notice. Her curves more defined, her assets much more defined. Overall she looked as sexy as she was deadly. A dangerous combination for a woman, and probably made her more dangerous than her Father because of it. Funny as that seemed, he knew she was more than a match for him."How about we get started, just a jog for a few miles before we get to the serious stuff." It had been far too long since she had heard anything about her. Then again, Ciarra barely saw anyone anymore. Thanks to her new job and the way Vane was often left her to her own devices as long as it wasn't a clear distraction. Vane made it very clear that it was imperative for her to make sure she could leave at the drop of a hat. Werewolf activity was definately stronger durring a certain part of every month, but that didn't mean it was ever completely gone.Lately, it had been quiet. Only a few occurences, but nothing as big as they had dealt with when Knox had been attacked. Not that she minded, but there seemed to be a long spurt of downtime, and she had nothing to really do with it. She had a few ideas of what to do, but really she was just waiting for something to happen.Training and exercise was one way to break the silence that there had been. Spending time with Cyrus helped her peace of mind in more ways than she could describe. He had been one of the few people around in her youth. There wasn't many people she could say that about."A jog huh? Alright, but I hope you can keep up." Ciarra grinned and sprinted off into the distance. Ever since they were kids it had always seemed to be a competition of sorts. Not that he minded at all. He only had that with a few of his friends while he was growing up. Cyrus sprinted a short ways to catch up with her and fell into a nice rythmn next to her. Taking care of his wife had always been his top priority. And thankfully things were starting to look up.Fond memories seemed to flow through his head. He remembered the days of his youth...all the times he seemed to be in some sort of situation with Aure. Many might not have been surprised about their eventual hook up but the one that had been surprised the most was Cyrus himself. One day any thought of being with Aure would have been a outlandish idea. Then the next he couldn't get her out of his mind. It doubled even more when she had left. He had definitely noticed his thought pattern when she was no longer around."So Ciarra. How's the life of a werewolf hunter? I can tell your new boss doesn't skimp on the training, that coat your wearing has to weigh a ton." Cyrus spoke trying to come up with a semblance of a topic. Skip to next post
