Sam was sitting at the bar; having come to the Leaky Cauldron after his shift at the Auror Office was over. It had been another hard day. Ever since Robards was murdered, things had never quite settled down. First, there was dealing with the media circus that resulted from the fact it appeared to be Spencer, then there was, though he couldn't recall if it had been made public or not, the discovery that she had been Imperiused ,though he couldn't recall if that had been made public or not. That had resulted in checks on every Auror to see if they were under Imperius, (not that Sam believed the checks would have detected the Imperius Curse, but the administration insisted) He was exhausted, though he wasn’t in his Auror robes. He was actually dressed in casual red robes. Taking a look around at the usual mix of witches and wizards, he sighed, picking up his Firewhisky and taking a gulp.
