[Oct 10] Magpies Best Tornadoes on March 01, 2010, 12:24:43 PM October 11, 2008Magpies Best Tornadoesby Niobe ThursbyThe Montrose Magpies won by a Snitch tonight, with young Seeker Laney Irving catching the winged goldmine. And it was a good thing she did: both teams' chasers were matching each other point for point. It wasn't easy for Tornado James Forrester and Magpie Juno Grimalken to make it to the goals. Beaters on both sides, namely Eason Ripley (Tornado) and William Pennyapple (Magpie), plummetted their opposition with several brutal hits. Both Keepers presented quite a challenge as well, keeping Forrester and Grimalken from running up the score. Coach and player Augustus Snark was excellent for the Magpies, but clearly young Ian Cuddyer of the Tornadoes was just as skilled.Final score was 180-80 Montrose Magpies, placing them third in the league so far.Read the match.How to play.Create a player.
