Physical Description: Edmund possesses typically English features; his face is chiseled, defined and inexplicably handsome. Whilst some say that Edmund is harsh in appearance, many admire his unconventional good looks, and he is the absolute double of his father.

Tall at 6'1, his straightened posture and usual look of sheer confidence radiate dominance and he can be extremely intimidating via his appearance. Edmund hates the fact that he isn't naturally muscular, yet his skinny, slight build could be considered brooding and a strange blend of masculine femininity.

Personality Description: Edmund is cool, collected and confident; his charming persona draws many to him, yet this self-assurance is often viewed as arrogance and cockiness by those who dislike him. Keen to meet new people and always fond of a conversation, Edmund is somewhat extroverted and loves being the centre of attention.

These traits, however, have given way to arrogance. Having a superiority complex, of sorts, a substantial amount of people (especially males) dislike his cocky attitude and his capability of approaching girls. Despite this however, his magnetism outshines these flaws and he has a small but solid group of close friends that admire his wit, charm and loyalty.

History: Born to a pureblood father, and a halfblood mother, Edmund is classed as a halfblood, yet his aristocratic parents believe that their 'class' surpasses the fact that their children aren't pureblood. His father, Rufus Oscar Klint belonged to a German-descended family that whilst not blood purists, were proud and respected within the wizarding world. A handsome man, Edmund is the double of Rufus in both appearance and personality. Edmund's mother, Helene Klint (her maiden name being Newland) was halfblood and enjoyed the finer things of high society; champagne, gossip and socialising. Whilst not the brightest woman around, she is somewhat content with her secure yet superficial lifestyle.

Edmund is the second youngest of his three siblings; Jasper, at 21, is the oldest and the leader of his brothers and sister. Clarissa, at 19, is an utter party animal and barely graduated from Hogwarts, now living off her parents in their London home. Edmund's youngest brother, Felix, is 14 and a Hufflepuff at Hogwarts, probably being the quietest Klint sibling.

Edmund always exhibited wizarding potential, and as a child, was extroverted, often showing off to be in the spotlight. Forming a close bond with his sister Clarissa, the two often teamed up against the alliance of Jasper and Felix. Whilst his wayward sister's actions soon spiralled out of control in her teen years, Edmund always stuck by her and is fiercly loyal of the only Klint daughter.

Entering Hogwarts, he followed his father's house of Ravenclaw, much to his mother's dismay who hailed from Gryffindor. Entering a world where nobody knew his name, Edmund soon attempted to make plenty of friends in an effort to be popular; this was semi-successful. Whilst many girls noted his good looks and sociable personality, many negatively regarded his arrogance and loudness.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Edmund is witty, hardworking and dedicated; although he is somewhat arrogant, he embodies the extroverted Ravenclaw.

Writing Sample: Edmund sat at the Klint dinner table, Clarissa at his right, each parent at the heads of the large rectangular table, and Jasper and Felix opposite. The Klint house was exquisite; a London townhouse with most rooms painted white, ornate chandeliers hung from the ceilings whilst portraits of Klint and Newland ancestors decorated most rooms. Wearing a sharp grey blazer, matching slacks and a plain white t-shirt, Edmund's hair was neatly quiffed; all of the Klint familys were dressed smartly as they ate their dinner, aside from Clarissa, whose hair resembled a birds nest. She'd only got up at three in the afternoon.

"Lovely steak, mother," Jasper complimented, his mother giving him a warm smile. Edmund and Clarissa both grinned instinctively at each other, knowing exactly what the other was thinking.
What a brown noser. It was typical of Jasper to frequently compliments his parents in an attempt to garner brownie points, and Edmund always identified this with a tad of amusement.
"What are your plans for this weekend, children?" Edmund's father asked, the dinner table, and Edmund was the first to pipe up with his plan of action.
"Well, I'm meeting the usual suspects for a spot of shopping down Diagon Alley tomorrow afternoon, then we were going to play a rough game of Quidditch but it just depends how tired everybody is."

Clarissa was too hungover to even answer her father's question, which Edmund always admired. She was beyond caring about her reputation or appearance in the Klint family, and whilst this sometimes embarrassed Edmund at family events, he couldn't help but like how rebellious his tearaway sibling was.
"Can you pass me the salt, Clar?" Edmund asked, and his sister nodded lethargically before heftily pushing the small white ceramic shaker his way.
"How's school, boys?" his mother politely asked, and Edmund couldn't help but be the first to answer again.
"Good, as always. I've been somewhat academically successful this term, and I plan on ending the year as such," he boasted, causing Clarissa to smirk, whilst Jasper and Felix rolled their eyes.

The Klint family would never change.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Witty, charming, extroverted and sociable, Edmund loves being the party pleaser, and whilst he is viewed as arrogant and elitist by many, he is nothing but loyal and helpful to his small group of friends. With an eye for the ladies, and with a dedicated work ethic, he is a refined taste for most at Hogwarts.
