    Personality Description:
Eason is not your typical quidditch player. He loves the broom, the racing, the wind in his hair, sure, but he also tends to deviate from the norm. He is a bit rough around the edges, as he doesn’t fit into the jock mode of an athlete. Instead, he wears eyeliner and plays with his hair, and looks like a punk rock star, rather than an athlete. This, however, is what makes him unique in the sporting world. It also brings about his personality of being a bit weird.

The boy likes to play around with people a lot, and tends to annoy people by being outlandish, eccentric, and sometimes taking things a little too far. He’s been known to offend people, even though it isn’t his intention ever to do so. But he knows he is offensive and refuses to change his ways. In a sense, he is kind of a hypocrite.

But towards the good side of Eason, he does like to please people. He tries to open doors, pull out chairs, be a generally polite person when the opportunities are granted. He typically only does this for his female friends, and his mother, but he’s been known to pull out a chair for a boy or two.

When on the playing field, though, Eason can be a bit of a jerk. He slams other players, shouts insults and name calls to players of the opposing team, and takes his bat swings with full force. He's even been known to shout insults to his own teammates when they've done something stupid on the field, costing them points. He has a signature move he does, too, where he twirls the bat three times, swings it back hard, and slams the bludgers hard, aiming well at his targets and hardly missing.

    History:
Born on the leap year of 1984, Eason Ripley was known as “the leapling” since his birth. He was born to Jackson and Lizzie Ripley in Augusta, Maine, but they moved to Eastport before he reached the age of one. There in the harbor town, he grew up learning all about magic, the American way, and took an interest in riding the broom.

In the town of Eastport, Eason grew up with his American mother and British father in a pretty wealthy home. They lived by the ocean, with a large space of land. Eason’s father raised thoroughbred horses, and that was Eason’s start to a riding career. He rode his horse, Sigourney, up and down the ocean side nearly everyday. It was only when he turned roughly ten years old that he took to a broomstick. He never forgot his horse, though, and rode her every night to make up for lost time.

His mother was a healer, often tending to his wounds from falling off his horse or broom, or roughhousing with other American wizard children. She was very thankful to have her son around, and knew he would grow up to become a well-known and powerful young wizard. His father, a dragon-tamer, came from a line of dragon-taming men. It was from him that Eason inherited his wand.

When he reached the age of eleven, he went to his mother’s alma mater, Salem Witches Institute of Magic, (his father being British, attended Hogwarts). His mother never let his father live it down that since they chose an American life, he would go to her institute. Learning even more than his parents could teach him, Eason grew fond of the many subjects and the many friends he made there. He was considered one of the more popular boys in the Agrippa house, fulfilling a dream his mother believed in.

He went out for quidditch during his second year at Salem, where he started and finished as a beater, and was even named the captain for the last two years of his schooling. Quidditch took over who he was, and became his one true passion in life. His father wasn’t too proud that his son would choose sports over the family lineage, but his mother, though worried for his health, supported him through and through.

He started straight out of school and played for the American National Quidditch Team. He felt they were a great start for him, and enjoyed all the matches, but his heart just wasn’t with the team. After declining another year with the team, he moved to London to temporarily live with his grandparents. There, he found a team suited for him, and with a stunning performance at his audition, he landed a main position on the team.

Now, Eason is a beater for the Tutshill Tornadoes, the team which took his heart in London. He found a flat in London, a block from the Leaky Cauldron. He would  consider himself an expert on the British lifestyle, being half Brit, but his American ways still show everyone where he is from, especially with the way he talks, as his accent is nowhere near his father’s.

Sum Up Your Character in One Paragraph:
Eason is a punk rock quidditch star, ready to burst your bubble both on and off the field. The way he’ll do so, though, differs on each term. He can take his beater bat and slam a bludger or he can mockingly parade around you and offend the living daylight out of you.
