A little bit before Lunch Time.

Of course Beatrix knew she looked ridiculous. That was the point, that was the plan. She stared longingly at the Great Hall's doors, waiting for her prey. The few people who were early to lunch were giving her strange looks, which she would speak up to them, still staring at the door, "You're the ones who are early to lunch. I'm just... Preparing." Which they would turn away from, whispering to each other about what that could possibly mean.

Swinging her fake sword in one hand, she began to get eager. She was waiting for her best friend in the whole world, Zoey Gabriel McAdams. Zoey-Cakes. Zoe-A-Sauras Rex. Zee. She was waiting for him. They had planned this for a while now. Zoey was going DOOOWWWN. Their plan? A surprise... But it involved swords... And... Peculiar clothing.

The great hall doors open, and Beatrix nearly sprang up before realizing it was just another student. She gave an impatient growl and sat back down. How long did it take for that boy to get to lunch? On the weekend? She then realized that he could be trying to trick her... Sneak up on her. With that, Beatrix crawled underneath the table. Following her was a bunch of stares from her housemates. She was going to win... Beatrix would be Queen of Hogwarts.

Lunch time was approaching fast, and Zoey was still trying to get the jacket to fit. Finally, he pulled it over his skinny arms and grabbed the faux-sword that was on his bed. He tried getting out of the common room with any glances, but that didn't stop a few of the girls giggling and giving him odd looks. "Say one word, ladies, and I won't mind taking a few points from each and every one of you." He loved being a prefect, as it was always to his advantage.

Finally, he arrived at the entrance to the Great Hall. Oh, he was going to make a grand entrance indeed. Beatrix wouldn't know what was coming. She hadn't even seen his outfit yet. Oh, that Beatrix. His lovable Bee. As crazy as she was, his crazy could by far pass hers, as he's had two years more than she has to perfect the art of insanity. And, yes, his mind was something he took plenty of pride in, as he was brilliant, or so people have said.

Stepping back, he got into a running position. He was waiting on someone, anyone, to enter the Great Hall. Just as a small first year boy opened the doors, he rushed past him and jumped up onto the Gryffindor table, getting plenty of evil looks. Sword drawn, he declared, "Dark, I know you're here! En-guard!"

"Dark, I know you're here! En-guard!"

Beatrix's eyes immediately peaked out, slyly, from the shadows under the bench. Oh lord, what was he wearing? Well... They SAID they were going to cross dress, might as well go overboard. Of course, Bea had no doubt that these were Zoey's personal clothes. The strange fellow was indeed... Strange. Beatrix nearly yelled out that she loved him, but she had to keep it smooth. She slithered out from under the bench like a deformed, chunky snake and crouched over behind a rather large Hufflepuff.

What exactly could she do? Throw a muffin at the boy and giggle until he noticed she was there? Reveal herself? Or, Beatrix's personal favorite, disguise herself as someone else, abusing her Metamorph abilities and possibly getting seen by everyone else in the whole Great Hall and be considered a freak. No... She would have to do that in a private setting. How she was able to hide this from her best friend for so long... It ate at her, really. But, making a decision, Beatrix decided to jump out and attack. Zoey definitely wasn't in for a surprise, but it was the best Beatrix could do.

After climbing over the boy, and launching off of him, she stood on the opposite side of the Gryffindor table, her sword pointed right at Zoey. "Ha, ha! Think you can scare me? My good sir, if you didn't know me so well..." She charged down the table towards Zoey, her sword pointing very... Pointy-ly. Zoey was on Beatrix territory now!

"Ha, ha! Think you can scare me? My good sir, if you didn't know me so well..."

At her appearance, Zoey pointed his sword at her as she charged him. He knew the best tactic would be to dodge her, and he did just that. As she ran forward, he pulled himself from the table above to underneath it, having to go between some people's legs. Some of them giggled, while others, namely macho boys, grimaced and almost smacked him. He started crawling towards the end of the table where he quickly dashed out, grabbing a half-bitten muffin from the boy at the end. The boy seemed not too thrilled and grabbed the lower end of Zoey's skirt, pulling it off and making him trip.

Letting out a yelp, Zoey tumbled down, skirt-less, to reveal a pair of boxer shorts with Gisella Darcy's face all over them. Having no shame whatsoever, he got up and threw the muffin at Beatrix, nailing her in the back of the head. "Come on, darling, you'll have to do better than a frontal lunge. Hell, I just tripped out of my clothes and got you spot on!" He laughed, but noticed he'd be quickly seen and for that, he hid himself quickly again, this time running behind the Ravenclaws, and peeking his head through a second year boys feet.
