Assault at Heathrow

LONDON - Very early on the morning of September 10, Colonel Kabir Ahmed of India's Magical government was struck down in Heathrow Airport in London. He had deboarded a muggle jet aeroplane and suffered an attack by poison. He was taken straightaway to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, and is expected to make a full recovery.
Auror-in-Training Adon Eleor was at Heathrow to retrieve Col. Ahmed and was able to quickly remove him from the high muggle area. Auror Eleor and subsequent investigation have not been able to identify or apprehend the suspected assailant, suspected to be an Indian national.
Dreogan Eleor of the Department for Magical Cooperation reports that our Ministry of Magic will be working very closely with the Indian Magical government to investigate Col. Ahmed's assault.
Sources inside St. Mungo's have suggested Col. Ahmed has shown symptoms of severe Runespoor poisoning. If this was the case, this would suggest a sinister trend of the black market trade of Runespoor escalating to deep international level.
