But news does fly fast, especially the juicy kind. Please use this thread to post any rumors that might be circulating in the Ministry, Knockturn, and other areas outside of Hogwarts! You can post from your character’s point of view or from a non-player-character. If you want to mention how you discovered the rumor, you can!Many rumors will have some basis in truth, but they can be complete lies as well.I encourage you all to spread rumors about your own characters too, because it will give us some more ammo- I mean, information about them!Try to remember to give links to relevant threads or articles when you can!Note: Though there will be some crossover, this thread should mainly be used for Wizarding World rumors. It is rumored that the ice-queen herself may be pregnant... That Gregory Morozov she has been seen with the last few months does have quite the reputation of being a ladies' man after all. Reply #7 on September 09, 2010, 04:45:19 PM After Candice Stevenson's dismissal from the Ministry of Magic on January 10th, many different rumors have been floating around the Ministry of Magic about what exactly happened.Candice Stevenson attempted to usurp Tamis Raynor as the head of the DMLE in attempts to institute a new, less violent way of doing things. Candice tried to go over Raynor's head to have her fired based on violation of basic wizarding rights. Raynor found out, and had Candice immediately sacked.Tamis Raynor is a tyrannical leader- she had Stevenson fired for disagreeing with her. If you value your job, you're better off not questioning her authority or methods.Raynor didn't really fire the ministry shrink. Stevenson finally quit. One too many aurors pressed her buttons and she had a mental break down. She couldn't take it anymore so she just left. Two days later he had a change of heart and gave it all back and embarked on a soul-searching mission around the world , at least that's what he said in his farewell letter found at his residence when friends went looking for him after he disappeared. Meredith Renfield was seen at Calaveras enjoying a very large steak to herself on the same evening the letter was found. All efforts to contact Nicklewent have failed. They seem to be getting around the Registry by using the names of registered werewolves to access the supports.
