Fauna,

I know it has been ages and I should have written earlier than this, but life has just been so different and an adjustment. My mother has decided to grow exceedingly protective over me, more than would ever be needed. She has been home schooling me so that I could write me OWLs if I am allowed, but it isn’t exactly helping me nor am I interested. You know me. Who cares about classes when I could be having fun.

So you would totally think I would be flourishing outside of school, no classes to attend and all. No you are wrong. I am bored out of my mind. I have spent so much time outside I think I have explored the near by forest completely. The resent change was a hard one as well. It was extremely painful and I ruined my favourite shirt. It was my own fault for wearing it. My mom’s wolfbanes is not nearly as good or effective as Professor Gunnar’s.

I never thought I would miss school.

Oh well! I am just going to have to find ways to entertain myself. I have received some homework from professors though, which has been both a bless and a curse. More of a curse. (If you could see me now I am sticking out my tongue, which is blue by the way I was sucking on a lollipop.)

I miss you Fauna. Say hi to people for me…and Trent. (He is a person though).

I have missed you so much. It’s just not the same here without you and your bacon throwing expertise (even though we were stuck in detention for forever… and poor Nico almost… died… but… yeah).

I will definitely tell the huffles, other people, and Trent (he is kinda in his own category) that you said hi. I’m sorry that you’ve been bored…. it can’t be much fun to have a lot of time to yourself with no one to hang out with.

I’m sure you’ve heard, but Darcy has been expelled too. Though I don’t know if there is a lot people can do… she did use dark magic. I feel horrible but I can understand why she’d be sent away for that. I wish it was more of a ‘suspension’ though, so she’d only be away for a few months. I know she didn’t mean to hurt anyone. I just… there is still time to get both you and her back at Hogwarts, at least.

Hehe I could see you sticking out your tongue at the professors. Mainwaring has been really helpful, actually. He’s been giving me advice on what we can do to help you. Plus, Astrid has organized SAWS, and we had our first meeting on the 15th. It didn’t start off great, but… we’re still going to follow through on our plans.

I have something a little, well, touchy to ask you about. I really wanna see you over Hogsmeade, and I hope you can make it? We could hang out just the two of us for a bit, and then I thought maybe… well… maybe you would be willing to talk to SAWS about your experiences as a werewolf? Many of them know you, and even for those that don’t… I think it would help people understand what you go through.

I mean, I know it’s painful to talk about. But it’s just an idea. I won’t be hurt or anything if you don’t feel comfortable doing it. I don’t want you to feel like you have to talk.
