Physical Description:Let’s put it this way: Jenni would definitely qualify as a “hottie” and most certainly has never been a “nottie.” A blonde bombshell with blue eyes and big lips, there's been quite a few folks under the male persuasion that have described her as 'the epitome of perfection' or 'flawless.' Jenni isn't unaware of her physical blessings and not only knows how to enhance her best features and hide her worst ones, but she makes it look easy. There's never a day where Jenni doesn't look her best – a perfectionist never rests. There's nothing worse than being over-done, either; Jenni's make-up is always very tasteful and her wardrobe is as classy as classy gets.
There are a few things that could be considered imperfections on Jenni: she has freckles on her face and a few on her arms, and she has a small mole on her left shoulder-blade. There's a scar on her right knee from when she tripped over a tree root when she was ten.
If one ever decided to read past the beauty, that person could clearly see the emotional scarring that is quite blatant throughout Jenni’s calm-cool-collected disposition. She tries her hardest to hide how much she’s been hurt in her life, but it is a very hard task to manage. Nonetheless, Jenni can put things to the back of her mind and find solace in a fancy-schmancy outfit – Jenni’s always trying to stay in fashion... because really, aren't we all?

Personality Description:After talking to Jennibelle for a mere ten seconds, one can automatically assume that she's a handful. She'smouthy and cut-throat, and refuses to settle for second-best. Socially, Jennibelle is extremely held back because of her absorption with education -- she can always be found in vicinity of bookshelves during her free time. The term “escape artist” in parallel to Jennibelle Tide can be explained quite easily; she can escape any argument smoothly and efficiently, without any mess. Attention is brought off of her quickly, henceforth the title ‘escape artist.’ Jennibelle has an iffy personality. She’s much, much more lenient towards her somewhat pretentious and greatly insulting honest side rather than towards her gregarious and extroverted side.
Most people find Jennibelle to be frustrating and incomprehensible -- Jennibelle adores her personality, usually. It helps her hide her true feelings, her true admiration for other people. She rarely even thinks about how much she respects the social life that other people possess – this is top secret information that nobody has uncovered. Jenni would never reveal her true emotions to an outsider; she’d much rather keep that bottled inside. This has caused her to become a hardcore insomniac -- all of these envious and confusing thoughts that she has to think about keep her awake at night. Still, Jennibelle would much prefer this method of expression than trusting just about anyone and having her feelings plastered all over the ladies' lavatory walls.
Jennibelle finds trusting people a greatly hard thing to do. She normally confides in nobody but herself, sometimes referring to her diary if she needs to remember something to think about. It's very rare for her to find comfort in talking to other people. She’s gotten quite paranoid over the years, particularly about the truth of her home life. She’s told a few people -- some by mistake -- and she’s a bit weary about telling people about her father and the death of her mother. Oddly enough, Jenni is weakest when a boy that she legitimately has feelings for is showing her attention. She isn't stupid and giggly – could you imagine? However, she begins to misunderstand and misinterpret her feelings and she is fairly prone to word vomit.
Basically, you could say that Jennibelle is bitter. She isn’t somebody that you’d like to pick a fight with, because she’s stubborn as a mule and will tell you straight-out what she thinks of you. She’s cautious about telling her friends how she feels about them, though, because she doesn’t want to loose what she has. Jenni is a smart, smart girl who knows what she’s doing -- except romantically and socially. She can manipulate you into getting what she wants out of you. She’ll turn your words against you and make you feel very insecure about yourself. It’s hard to get on her good side -- but once you’re there, it takes a lot to get on the bad side. Frankly, the good side of Jennibelle is a glorious one, because she’ll defend you to the grave if and when you need it.
History:Many, many moons ago, there was a woman named Cassandra Boheme. Most people referred to her as Cass, and she was a friendly, lovely woman who didn’t envy anyone and was a complete sweetheart to nearly everyone she met. At twenty-two years old, she was working as a waitress at the Three Broomsticks, and she was struggling to find the right lifestyle for herself. In her family, she wasn’t exactly the brightest -- that job was left for her sister, Claudia -- but she could hold her own. The former Gryffindor was constantly switching jobs, preferring serendipity, destiny, and fate to guide her through life rather than a schedule.
Marshall Tide showed her the beauty and the complexity of a planned out life -- Marshall knew what he was going for and knew exactly how to do it, and executed every task that needed to be done to perfection, no matter how menial. The two met one day when Marshall came in for lunch at the Three Broomsticks -- he caught her eye because he was the one there wearing the fanciest, most expensive-looking clothing she’d ever set eyes upon. She caught Marshall’s eye because she was just about the most radiant thing that Marshall had ever seen. Simply by looking, one could tell that Cass and Marshall were meant for each other.
Although he despised the place, Marshall continued to return to the Three Broomsticks for lunch, daily. Cass’ face illuminated the dingy restaurant. Eventually, Marshall worked up enough nerve to ask Cass out on a date, and they quickly fell into a whirlwind romance. It was if their fates had been sealed in the pages of a fairytale.
After one year of dating, Marshall proposed to Cass and they were married one beautiful summer day. The ceremony was perfect -- Cass looked beautiful, more beautiful than any woman Marshall had ever seen; Marshall was a vision of perfection -- the most glorious thing that Cass’ eyes had ever befell. As the aforementioned statement said -- you could clearly see that the two were meant for each other. They were completely in love. In a short time, two years after their spectacular marriage ceremony, Cass decided that she wanted to have a baby and Marshall agreed whole-heartedly. Both of them had always wanted a family; having a family together would just be perfect. It was going to be the perfect life for the two lovebirds. Their life would be the perfect sitcom.
Cass was a happy pregnant woman -- yes, she of course had her mood swings and her cravings, but mainly she was happy. Although she was gaining weight quickly, Marshall still thought she was the most attractive woman he’d ever met in his entire life, both inside and out. This was a true romance story -- excitement was building up and practically bursting out of the windows and doors of the Tide house. That is, until fate finally took a turn for the worst.
On August 25th, 1982, Cass went into labor and they went through a simple, magical process to have Jennibelle. However, like muggle pregnancies, there were many complications and that was the death of Cassandra Boheme -- it wasn’t a very good omen for Jennibelle, being held in her dead mother’s arms and her father thrown across her mother’s body, sobbing hysterically.
That, however, was the only time he seemed the slightest bit able to show emotion and mercy. From the moment that his love died on, Marshall was bitter and abusive. He’s only hit Jennibelle a few times -- not enough to matter -- but he neglects her; during her childhood, when she couldn’t provide for herself, he gave her barely what she needed and nothing more. She got scraps of food and rags for clothing -- it was as if she was the magical world Cinderella. At eight and a half years old, Jennibelle had to get a job at the Leaky Cauldron -- she was very, very mature for her age -- and she spent her time cleaning tables. She spent her wage on what she needed; food, proper clothing, soap -- eventually, however, she didn’t buy in excess and started buying books.
Books became the central concern of her life -- buying books, reading books, seeing what books were updated. She visited most of the bookstores in magical London; the employees there knew her by name, at a mere ten years old. She came in daily, just after her shift was over at work. Her father could care less about her whereabouts -- because of this, she often snuck off to the muggle world to see cheap shows of Les Miserables, a famous muggle play. She soon fell in love with the musical and while she worked, she sometimes sang -- discovering a new talent that was harbored inside of her. However, the fact that she has a beautiful voice isn’t revealed to many people at all.
A few days before her eleventh birthday, Jennibelle received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Her father, of course, expected this -- he gave her three sickles, knowing that would never supply her with all of her school needs. Therefore, Jennibelle had to sell most of her large book collection to gain enough money to buy school things. Eventually, she got enough money and bought an inexpensive owl along with secondhand books and hand-me-down robes. She didn’t mind, though -- she was going to be off to Hogwarts, a place where she knew she belonged.
After being automatically sorted into Ravenclaw -- the Sorting Hat barely touched her head -- Jennibelle went off on a whirlwind of books, classes, and studying. She got immersed in her studying; all she wanted to do was study, eventually. Nobody really knew much about her. Her first year of Hogwarts, nobody even knew her name -- including the people of her very own house. She was rather shy for those first few years.
Once she was off of the train home from Hogwarts, she was waiting around for her father -- who never showed. She was forced to find her own way home, with all of her books and baggage. From then on, she knew that she hated him. It was just incomprehensible how he could hold such a long grudge for something that wasn’t even her fault. Therefore, she could hold a grudge against him. Jennibelle could be just as stubborn as he could be.
Her second year was just a year of screaming at people and being a complete jerk to everyone -- she didn’t even make sense half of the time; all that mattered to her was that the people got off of her back. Belle’s third year of Hogwarts was extremely similar; yet, she started making sense with her insults. By her fourth year, she didn’t really care about anybody else and she didn’t really say much of anything unless she absolutely needed to -- as was her fifth and sixth years.
She’s become very, very hopeless romantically however. It all started in her third year when the boys finally realized that -- hey, she’s a girl. She didn’t really count the dozens of snogfests she put herself through that year... she continues to do it today, but is smarter about it now that she's a bit more knowledgeable in the boy department. She's aware of the fact that they're hopelessly unintelligent when it comes to romance, so she's very clear about her intentions when she's in the mood to be. Additionally, she has begun to disregard the usually true rumors that float around about her. So, she has fun. She knows she'll be more successful than any of her classmates, so why not have some fun while at Hogwarts? She works hard enough as it is. Most people would think that Jennibelle was conservative in that particular area, judging by how she acts and looks. However, with the attention she got, she didn’t know how to use it or what to do with it. She didn’t even know how to react to it, so she just accepted it and went with the flow, weirdly enough.
Jenni is just as serious about her studies as she always has been. Her personality is still as fiery and anal-retentive as ever, and her relationship with her father is definitely still rocky. Things with Jenni seldom change, which keeps life simple.
How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Um. Have you met Jennibelle?
Jenni studies and does little else besides that. She's been ambitious and obsessive about proving herself since birth, especially since her father looks at her in such a negative light. The girl is pretty straight-laced and she's definitely very witty.
Writing Sample:There was a blonde girl bustling her way through the Great Hall. Really, the fact that she was blonde was the only visible, significant thing that you could use to identify her; she was carrying books piled up to her nose. Of course, if you were only
looking at the blonde girl bustling her way through the Great Hall, then you probably wouldn't recognize the girl as Jennibelle Tide. However, if you had healthy, working ears, it would take all of three seconds to figure out that the blonde girl bustling her way through the Great Hall was, indeed, Jennibelle Tide.
“Get out of my way! Don't you see I have books here?! Watch out!” Jennibelle demanded. Her peers followed her explicit instructions, leaping out of the way of her path. All, of course, except for one girl, who decided that it would be a brilliant time to tie her shoe. Since she was out of Jennibelle's limited field of vision, Jenni went plowing into her at full study-mode speed. Her book tower collapsed, a few of the books falling onto the foolish girl's back before crashing to the ground. The girl – a redhead with bad skin – whipped her head around to see who had caused the books to tumble onto her. When the redhead saw that an angry bull-like Jennibelle Tide was standing before her, her annoyed expression turned into a look of terror.
“Is there something that you don't understand about
Get out of my way?” Jenni said through clenched teeth. “There's one of the reasons you're in Hufflepuff. I'm
sure there are many more, and I
seriously doubt that 'good finder' makes the list.” The girl's eyes welled up with tears, and Jenni scoffed and rolled her eyes. She bent down to pick up her books, mentally cursing the scatter-brained redhead even more.
Apparently, in the process of having a waterfall of books cascade onto her, the redheaded girl had lost track of her ink. She began searching for it, her face bright red; she muttered 'my ink... I just need to find my ink' under her breath. Jenni overheard. After gathering her belongings into a tidy pile, Jenni saw a broken bottle of ink that had rolled under one of the benches in the Great Hall.
“Purple ink.
Seriously?” Jenni spat. She scoffed, picked up her books, and marched off.
Sum up your character in one paragraph: Jennibelle Tide is closely associated with the phrase 'anal-retentive bitch.' She's an inherently ambitious girl with a heart of stone. Though she is long overdue for an attitude adjustment, Jenni is sharp as a whip and prettier than a rose. She's a silver-tongued only child of a neglectful father who blames her for the death of his beloved wife; it's because of him that she must prove her worth.
