Monday April 14th 2008 noon.

The little cafe was packed when Scirey managed to squeeze her way in past a stroller blocking the front door. She groaned when she saw the long line wrapping around the front of the shop. She had a meager half hour to obtain and woof down her lunch before skidding into the office. Scirey dreamed of the days when she would no longer be the bottom of the totem pole at work. Maybe then she could pick a lunch time that was not so popular.

It seemed that every bottom grubbing worker in the Alley was at the Sword & Chant, many picking up large items for the office. Scirey wished she had owled in her order but she had lost track of time working on her latest project before she knew it it was far to late for her to owl in. The evidence of her work was on her face in the form of an ink stain coloring the side of her nose. She was oblivious to the large black mark. If she had known then it would have given her the reason why a few people were smiling at her in a slightly condescending manner. Or at least looked like they were, smilies are very hard to decipher. 

Scirey was going over ideals for a cover when something hit her stomach. Scirey frowned at the woman in front of her who didn't noitice that her wild gestures caused her over large monster tote to swing wildly into the person behind her.  Scirey didn't say anything ad kept waiting and watching for the heavy object out of the corner of her eye. She took an instinctive step back when the thing came attacking. Instead of alking backwards into empty space Scirey collaide with a warm surface... a human surface. Sicrey cringed as she turned to face the person she had bumped.

"Sorry..." She said looking into the eyes of the person.
