The wood is rigid and the shaft is lightly decorated with intertwined vine along the length and an onyx stone set in the end of the handle.Physical Description:At six feet, 2 inches, Felix towers over a lot of those he has worked with. When he was younger and attending Hogwarts, he was one of the first to shoot up in his year. At the time, he was a skinny little chap and a bit pale. Over the years, he has transformed himself to something he can be proud of. Working with Dragons (and other troublesome to tame beasts) has forced Felix to build up muscle. Through hiking and rock climbing and other outdoor activities, he has fine tuned himself so that he can handle most things the creatures throw at him. That, combined with working outside in varying weather (often requiring him to discard his shirt) has forced a nice tan to his upper body. Keeping his hair short is a must for his profession. Wouldn’t it just be lovely if he was grabbed from behind by an angry Hippogriff? Best to just keep it short; less to grab on to when he did have to wrestle some creature down. It also made it easier to clean up after a long and dirty day. While working, Felix keeps his attire to a very comfortable dress. His trousers are durable and many pairs are torn or dirtied beyond repair. Dragon hide boots and gloves are often part of his daily work attire as well. When he does leave the ranch, however, he enjoys dressing up. A nice suit can be his winning ticket to one less lonely night. If his dress doesn’t snag them, his piercing blue gaze often draws them in.Personality Description:Felix, like most people, has the good and bad sides to his personality. He can be very intuitive and thoughtful about some subjects, and a total jerk about others. One of his most prominent characteristics is his stubborn attitude. Most people have used less than pleasant terms to describe Felix when it comes to this portion of his personality. When he has his mind made up, he sticks by it. Often, he will stick with it even when he knows it is wrong, just for the simple fact that he hates to be proven wrong. Along with being stubborn, he can be ‘to the point.’ Many take this to mean that he is a cruel person. For Felix, it depends on the day, the weather, and the person he is speaking with as to whether he is truly coming off as callous or just irritated. Very few people see the softer side of Felix. It’s not that he means to be snippy and annoyed, he just is. For Felix, it’s a matter of getting a job done efficiently and quickly. While he doesn’t often try to come off as mean, Felix does tend to hold grudges. If he doesn’t care for someone, he will let them know. Never one for subtlety, he has gotten in enough trouble over his harsh and often exaggerated demeaning attitude. He will often state there is a reason he works with dragon’s and not people. Very few people can stand Felix for long periods of time. Beneath the ‘bad boy’ exterior, however, Felix is quite insecure. The one woman he loved passed away, and now what is he to do? It’s much easier, in his mind, to not be tied down so that he can’t be hurt like that again. Having that possibility from his daughter is enough stress. Felix has been unable to keep a relationship for any length of time since Kayleigh’s death. He tells himself it is because no woman could truly put up with a man who is in Dragon dung eight to ten hours a day, but in fact he pushes them away. If the relationship begins to become ‘too real,’ sending them packing. The downside to this is that many ‘Aunts’ or ‘Close friends’ have come in and out of Gabby’s life that she is more irritated than hurt when they leave. In some way, Felix supposes she’s taken a similar stance as he to them; they’re like decoration, and easily replaceable—easier to not get attached. History:Born in Southern Spain to Markus and Julliete Dagon, Felix Joseph Dagon was a little runt who fought from the very beginning. In 1977, both Markus and his father, Joseph Dagon, were found guilty of aiding Lord Voldemort and sent to Azkaban. Markus was released soon after by using the ol’ ‘I was under the influence of the Imperius Curse’ line. As there was little evidence and far too many others of higher importance, he was freed. Shortly after arriving in Azkaban and being found guilty for crimes against muggleborns (including the murder of an auror and his family), Joseph was given the Dementor Kiss. Once Markus was back with his family, they packed up and moved to England, attempting to forget about problems that arose. Many Death Eaters considered Markus’ lie to be a betrayal and he tried to make a new home for his family away from those that knew him in Spain. Michelle, Felix’s Grandmother, moved with her son and daughter-in-law, intent on teaching her grandson the proper pureblood way of life. While his parents worked hard for the Ministry of Magic, his father in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, and his mother in the Department of Mysteries, Felix was raised primarily by Michelle. She was the live-in babysitter. When he was six, his grandmother began teaching him wand spells, encouraging him to borrow her wand to hex the family cat. She thought it was important for her grandson to grow up and follow in his grandfather’s footsteps. While she acknowledged that her son had helped Lord Voldemort in his war, she found more reason to argue and berate him than give him a pat on the back.Gabriel Dagon was born on 3 December 1980. At first, Felix didn’t really care what happened with the little tyke. He was just someone else to take away the adoring adults attention that Felix would have preferred stay on him. But as time went on, he found that he could teach Gabe things. Felix enjoyed being a big brother, though he wouldn’t have told anyone else that. His grandmother’s lessons slacked off a little due to the fact she was also watching the infant. It gave Felix time to dive into other arts besides wand magic and spell learning. He began reading poetry books that he found in the small family ‘library,’ which really consisted of five book shelves full of books on numerous subjects. Escaping into these rhyming short stories, packed full of information and mysterious enough to leave him wanting more, Felix found a way to deal with the issues of the time. In 1984, Felix began his years at Hogwarts. Sorted into Ravenclaw, he made his presence known to those who caused him grief. It wasn’t until his fourth year that he started to come out of his shell. The few friends he had stuck by him through thick and thin. His best friend, Jason Marren, was a younger student in his house. Somehow, Felix’s maturity level was always on par with Jason’s—perhaps that is what made their friendship so strong. It was about that time that Felix started questioning his family’s beliefs. His grandmother was very strong willed, but with Felix being gone for a good portion of the year at Hogwarts, her hold on him weakened. Felix began dating a Slytherin, Kayleigh Cox, during his fourth year. He had assumed she was pureblood by the simple fact of her house and attitude. He had never felt that way about anyone before, and it was as if he couldn’t get enough. Then something went terribly wrong. Felix can’t even remember quite what happened, only that they were on the grounds, Kayleigh was upset at him, and he found out she was muggleborn. He ended up with a bloody nose and an angry ex-girlfriend. Words said in anger were the final blow to their relationship. Nursing his nose, he finished the last bit of school as quietly as possible. Over that summer, Felix took time to reevaluate everything he had learned, from both family and school friends. That summer was quite an eye opener for him. His grandmother saw that her grip on him had loosened, and when she tried to reinforce her beliefs, Felix defied her for the first time. He became moody and distant from his family, even his little brother. Often Gabe wanted to follow Felix around, and Felix would find some way to lock his little brother out. He dived into books about any subject, trying to make himself content with learning. He started tinkering with wood, enjoying the thrill he had whenever he transformed a seemingly useless piece of discarded wood into some shape. When he went back to school, Felix contented himself with learning all he could. The Defense Against the Dark Arts class, which had been his favorite by far, was changed this year. He had decided to take up Care for Magical Creatures instead of Muggle Studies. His focus shifted from wand magic to the world of creatures, especially on Dragons. Fascinated by the strong and intelligent beast, Felix shifted most of his study time to finding out all he could about them. He found ways around the numerous bans and laws in the school to read over books (he can be very sweet when he wants to be). He had spent the latter part of his summer constructing an apology carving for Kayleigh, and after a month back in school, he had completed the rudimentary little dragon. Applying himself was important, but he also felt that he needed to prove that he wasn’t some bigoted pureblood like the rest of them. It wasn’t easy, and nearly cost him another broken nose, but in the end Felix was able to prove that he had changed at that her blood purity didn’t matter at all.Felix started choosing to spend his holidays at the school. When summer came, he tried to get away and spent it with Kayleigh and Jason, to stay out of his grandmother’s lectures more often. That meant that Gabe got the brunt of Michelle’s irritation and teachings, and as she became meaner in her older, lonely age, he was pushed farther under her thumb than Felix ever had been. Not that Felix noticed; he was too busy being struck by ‘love.’ Kayleigh helped him figure out things about himself along the way. It further put his opinion of his family in cement; it wasn’t right to put someone down because of their blood purity; who could truly change what family they were born to? It should be about cooperation and making the wizarding world a better place for all. Being a teenager made one feel empowered and energized. He felt that he could change the world if he wanted to. Something about being in love in your school years makes the world take a second worry in your head. As often as they bugged each other, it just felt right. It wasn’t until his sixth year that he realized what he would do with himself. He loved dragons; though he still enjoyed poetry, he’d shifted the majority of his leisure reading to the subject of dragons and anything he could find about them. He quickly came to understand that, if he wanted to work with them, he had to be a little stronger than skin and bones. Shooting up to six foot by that year, any weight he had before had barely stretched. Keeping himself to his close friends even more than before, he started to run, building himself up. He reveled in the enjoyment of keeping himself in shape and strong.Though his focus was now on dragon keeping, Kayleigh’s had always seemed to be towards becoming an Auror. Felix couldn’t shake the feeling that Aurors were, generally, a pain in the side to deal with. His entire family had nothing nice to say about them (though his parents didn’t mention much about them, what with their Ministry jobs and such). Gabe started at Hogwarts, in the Slytherin house, as Felix and Kayleigh were getting ready to graduate. The brothers weren’t as close as they once were, though it was hard to not notice the similarities in the two. Gabe didn’t support the relationship that Felix had with Kayleigh, and often separated himself from his brother. Still, Felix only had eyes for Kay; he didn’t worry about the relationship that was crumbling. Joining the Ministry of Magic’s Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures after he graduated, Felix found that living in the real world wasn’t all it was cracked up to. Especially when Kayleigh found out she was pregnant. Though shocked, he was also a bit ecstatic. As soon as his grandmother heard about the baby, she refused to see Felix again. The older generation found it easy to banish and forget family that didn’t stick to the pureblood ideal. Supporting Kay through the next nine months became something more than it was before then. Even when he came home, exhausted and bruised, he’d do what he could to ease her frustration. They still had their issues, and probably more often than most couples. Both were stubborn and hot-headed, which caused for some interesting and petty arguments. Some things were easily figured out, though. They decided to put off getting married until they were both stable in their life together, and Kayleigh was intent on getting her Auror badge. Felix worked slowly in his apprenticeship so that he wasn’t overwhelmed with work and unable to help out. When Gabriella was born on September 4, 1992, it felt as if a piece fell into place for Felix. He was a father, whether he was ready to be or not. Worries he’d never had before came up: could he be a good one? How could he be great? Why did no baby books mention the awful smell that accompanied a nappy change? He worked as an apprentice in the art of Dragon Training and Keeping for three years. Over those three years, he worked on gaining muscle mass. It was important to be in shape and have some strength both physically and mentally to work with the often temperamental dragons. When he wasn’t learning, he could often be found with his family or passed out and catching up on sleep. During the nights that he couldn’t sleep or had baby duty while Kayleigh began training, Felix started to delve more into the art of wood carving. It was something he could do to waste hours that he should have been doing something else (cleaning, sleeping, learning to do hand stands—whatever, really). After he was shown to be competent in the art of Dragon Training and Keeping, he began taking on his own cases. Around the same time, Kayleigh passed her training and became an entry level Auror. Things were starting to look up for the little family, and Gabriella filled their free time. Felix worked throughout Northeastern Europe, as that was where a lot of dragons were easily kept. Apparation was a godsend for commutes. When both Felix and Kay were working, Gabby was watched by her grandparents. Michelle made herself scarce when the ‘halfblood’ child came around, but other than that hostility, Felix’s family loved having her around. It also gave them reason to see their son. The problem with life being blissful and seemingly perfect is that it can never stay that way. At least that is Felix’s bitter feeling, looking back on it now. Lord Voldemort started to gain power again: though his father was a bit antsy, Felix didn’t really worry about it. Why worry when he had a great family, a happy life? And then it all started happening. Gabe joined the ranks of new Death Eaters, much to the excitement of his grandmother. His family split up and divided on the entire matter, Felix had expectations on both sides. Kayleigh was an Auror, expected to uphold laws of all, and his family were pureblood supporters of the Dark Lord. As if to rub it in his grandmother’s face some more, Felix finally asked Kay to marry him. He couldn’t imagine anyone else who could put up with him so much, on top of the fact that he loved her and she was the mother of his daughter. No matter what, he expected their life to always stay perfect. As 1998 was coming, and muggleborns and their supporters were being harassed and hounded, Felix found himself torn; did he join the Death Eaters and try and protect his little family, or run away and risk being ostracized if Lord Voldemort won? In the end, he decided to protect than run away. Argument upon yelling match between Kay and himself ended with him being branded a Death Eater. He wanted her to be safe, wanted her to stay home. They had Gabby to think about! She still felt that serving the public was one of her biggest priorities. In his own way, this was Felix’s good Samaritan duty—by putting himself in the place of the Death Eaters, he was able to pass along some crucial information to Kayleigh, and then through her to the Auror department. Then the Battle of Hogwarts came. Everything seemed to lead up to this; from all the dark meetings to hiding his family and their whereabouts, Felix could feel the tension building up. And then the call came, for both of them. Lord Voldemort was calling his supporters to him, and the Aurors were being summoned to counter the attack. Felix tried to beg Kay to stay with Gabby; surely they both couldn’t go! Too many had lost their lives up to the battle that it seemed silly to him to risk either of their lives for one fight. For any fight… He didn’t want to lose any part of their family. The call was somewhat painful to ignore, and when Kayleigh left to help the Aurors, Felix packed up some things for Gabby and apparated to his parents. The plan was to drop her off and then try and join the battle. They had so much more to live for, so many reasons not to fight. And yet, those were the same reasons to fight. Felix knew that… he accepted that Kayleigh had to fight and why. He just didn’t want her in harm’s way. The easiest way to assure himself that she wouldn’t be would be to show up and ‘fight.’ That night is quite a blur now. Or that is what he has told Gabby when she asks. So many things were going on, so many people involved. Children, Aurors, Death Eaters, Professors—everyone seemed part of it. He would prefer to never remember that night. So many spells, so many dead, so many wounded. Felix recalled the relief he had when he saw Kayleigh off in the distance. It was the last time he’d see her alive. His plan was to find her, protect her against whatever he could, and try and talk sense into her. He wanted her safe. It’s the guilt that crippled Felix, stunting his emotional growth. The feeling that, if he’d found her quicker, if he’d been close enough to jump in front of the spell, if he would have cut all ties with her and let her live her own life, maybe she would still be breathing. The five stages of grief seemed to happen all at once. First he denied it, laughing hysterically as he looked at her. “This is some sick joke, Kay. Get up.” Then it hit him, and he tried to bargain, desperately calling out for whoever would hear him. Then the anger hit and he took it out on the nearest person. The Death Eater was confused to begin with; here was Felix, with the Dark Mark clearly on his forearm, and yet he was moaning over an Auror. He didn’t have long to ponder it, though, as he was quickly taken care of by Felix’s grief. At that point, he hit rock bottom and dug a little deeper, kneeling over her. Maybe… just maybe it would be quick for him too. Maybe he was supposed to end up, right here. He had his wand, he could easily turn it on himself. It took longer than it should have to make him realize that the classic Romeo and Juliet story wasn’t going to work here. They would find him near her, death eater symbol on his forearm, them both dead, and hail her the hero and he the scum. Swallowing painfully, he had kissed her goodbye and pushed himself away—he had to stay for Gabriella. Kayleigh would. He took some deep breaths, told himself it was going to be okay, that he’d find a way through it. Somehow he made it to his parents, and for the next three months, he devoted every waking minute to Gabby. The funeral was painful, and though Kay’s parents confronted him about taking the girl on away from ‘this kind of life,’ Felix had realized that his only tie to the living at that point was his daughter. If he gave her up… he would be giving in to his demons. Life slowly got better in the sense that he could sleep through an entire night without waking up crying out for her. He saw Kay at every twist and turn, and it certainly didn’t help that Gabby looked so much like her mother. Felix was cleared of his involvement with Lord Voldemort and any Death Eater happenings with his help in apprehending a few others as well as the information he had passed along to Kayleigh. Gabe was caught and sentenced to Azkaban, which Felix thought was just good riddance; the boy needed to grow up a bit, get out from under the skirt tails of his grandmother.Michelle didn’t last very long after the end of Voldemort’s reign. Some say she was consumed with the grief and sadness that she’d made into her life, some thought maybe she had arranged for it. Whatever the case, she passed away by early 1999, leaving the world a lot brighter than she would have liked. Both of his parents involved themselves more in Felix’s and Gabby’s lives, now that the wicked witch was gone. It was bittersweet; they had never really tried to get to know Kayleigh, and that bugged Felix. After the first year and a half of doing nothing but work and spending time with Gabby, Felix finally started to venture out. That was when his self destructive personality took hold. There were many ‘Aunts’ that came and went in young Gabby’s life, some shorter lived than others, but all gone long before someone could remember their name. It was his way of dealing, as useless as it was. He couldn’t even consider getting attached to someone on any level close to what he had with Kayleigh. His luck would be that they would be taken from him far too soon. His life wasn’t so pitiful, however, that he found reason to cry about it all the time. He used the time to get ready for his move, as well as give his daughter his undivided attention. He helped teach her the basics of wood carving, took her on a few dragon rides, showed her the right way to bathe them. What focus he had given to Kay was now given fully to his daughter, something she would no doubt come to loathe as she got older and yearned for independence. Having grown tired of all the rules and regulations the Department put on him, Felix was looking for a way out of the Ministry and the paperwork. With some help from family and other partners he made, Felix was able to purchase a plot of land in the Alps, far enough from civilization to keep dragons, and not far enough that it was uninhabitable. In fact, it was a rather decent property for the price he paid. It was a change for Gabby and Felix, though, who had lived in urban streets for years. To help with the environment change, Felix let Gabby pick out a dog. Thus, Merlin came to the new life on the ranch as well, giving Felix something else to harp on.His little girl started growing up long before he was ready. When she started at Hogwarts, he was both scared and excited, though he didn’t let anyone know of the anxiety he had as she got on the Hogwarts Express as it pulled away. It was the first time that he had months to himself. At first, he spent it moping around again, doing his work enough before going out and partying. Over the few years, though, Felix got into a routine for when Gabby left for school, and now it isn’t so bad. He was slowly accepting the idea that she was allowed to grow up and have her own life, though he wasn’t keen on it.If he survives her teenage years without killing someone or being killed, then he will consider his life complete. Dragons have nothing compared to hormonal young women at that time of the month. It keeps him young, he supposes. Or makes him go prematurely gray… What is your occupation? How do you go about it? How did you get your current occupation? How does your past and abilities justify your current skills?:As a dragon keeper and tamer, Felix finds that the best way to go about his job is to be prepared for anything. After nearly eighteen years in the field, Felix has learned the tricks that work and those that don’t. If you try and calm down a fire breathing dragon with a piece of meat, you had better be nowhere near it when it goes off at the smell of blood. And you had best be ready for a fire attack. Felix has a fully decked out dragon hide outfit that has been worked in over the years, though he rarely puts the entire thing on. The use of various spells that he has investigated into as whether they work or not helps him when he wants to be able to move and work with them. When he became tired of silly Ministry regulations to do his job, Felix began looking for a way out. For the past eight years, he (and his daughter) has lived out on his own property, working for himself with minimal involvement of the Ministry in an unplottable by muggles area in the Alps. That itself was a load of paperwork, but he likes the privacy and serene life he has there.Over the years, he has been very interested in research on the topic of dragons, as much is still unknown. He has two dragons currently at the ranch that he runs his research on; currently, he has put out a book on ‘Ways to Stay Out of the Line of Fire,’ and is working on a new, bigger volume of information for how to handle dragons, general hints and guidelines, and so on—basics for beginners, and a way to teach it.Writing Sample:Show your character in a scene that illustrates their best and worst aspectsof their personality. Include action, dialog and thought.Stretching and yawning, Felix rolled his eyes at the newspaper laid out over the table. “Sure… Remembrance Day is the most important day in the modern wizarding world. What a crock.” He wasn’t sure why he was even reading the articles about it. It only irritated him, upset him, and made him an annoying prat to deal with the rest of the day. Sipping his tea, he tried to loosen his grip on the mug. It was all right—they weren’t purposefully trying to upset him specifically. The dog was whining for him as well. It was a terrible noise, really. Maybe he could shrink it and ship Merlin off to Gabby. Smirking at that thought, he took a sip of tea and scratched the dog's head. He could pretend that he was bugged by the dog, just like he was annoyed by his daughter, but in the end everyone could tell he cared for the pitiful thing. "I should shave you before Gabby comes home. I think she'd like that present." Turning his attention back to the paper, his mood quickly deteriorated.Slamming the paper shut on the table, he stared at it for a while and frowned. There was nothing he could do about it now, and hadn’t been able to do anything then. Brooding on thoughts that he couldn’t help, Felix finally stood up from the chair and moved away from the table with his breakfast plate in hand. “Ridiculous. She’s been dead for almost ten years…” His voice caught at the end, and he bit his lower lip before washing his dishes off.Once that was done, he decided to throw himself into work. For the next five hours, he didn’t let up on the dragons, forcing them through task after task before he finally rewarded them with some meat and a wash down. The upside to working in climates like the mountains he lived was that it was cool enough to keep Felix from overheating over most tasks, but when he had to fully garb up to give a bath… he came out sweating and needing a little more than a glass of water. It hadn’t really helped his mood, either. After a quick, cold shower, Felix went back to his office and stared at the envelope on the table. He’d been invited to the Remembrance Day at Hogwarts, and though he knew Gabby would be there and he could deal with it with her, he almost wanted to burn the invitation and forget it ever happened. Kay would have been much better to survive that Battle; Felix had always believed that.He loved his daughter, as much of a pain as she was, and enjoyed his life. He just had a missing part of him that Kayleigh had taken with her when she wouldn’t wake up. A few moments later, to bring him out of his brooding, he heard a tapping at the window. Coming to, he looked at the owl with little comprehension until he went over and took the letter.Reading it, he frowned and let out an annoyed breath. “Really, mother? Dinner tonight?” What else would he be doing, though? He was caught up on work, the house was clean, and his laundry was done… Felix pushed the dog that was bugging him away and moved to his parchment. He hunched over the desk for a full five minutes before he started writing his agreement, if only a bit irritated. She knew what day was coming up, and was no doubt trying to reassure her son’s mind. What a mother.Sum up your character in one paragraph:Felix often acts like an immature jerk, because that is what he’s become comfortable with. Trying to balance a teenage daughter with no emotional support of a loving wife or girlfriend or anything (because he prefers to shove them away), Felix finds that he prefers dragons to dealing with Gabby for very long. He’s looking for something to stimulate his life outside of family and work, but can’t commit to anything. He’s a conundrum of pitiful with a bad boy exterior. She had been gone a long time. Swallowing painfully, his eyes strayed over to the also restless Gabby. He couldn’t even bring himself to smile at her. His brother was gone; who knew where the troublesome young death eater was, and what he might be up to. It was best he didn’t question it right then.Gabe would know to stay away from Kayleigh, right? Swallowing again, he stood up and paced slowly, glancing to the mark on his arm. It was really starting to bother him, a bit painful. He couldn’t just sit there. How many times had they talked? She said she knew, understood even, that her choice to go and fight could lead to her death. He had said the same thing when she questioned (that was putting it lightly) his decision to join the Death Eaters. He did understand the possibilities that could come up if he were caught…Still. It was one thing to say it, another to actually comprehend it… Another few minutes passed, and he couldn’t rest. She couldn’t get home fast enough. Picking up Gabby and giving her a fake, small smile, he kissed her forehead. “Let’s go see Nana.” A short while later, he left his daughter in the care of his worrisome mother, telling her not to worry, that he’d be back shortly to pick her up.Then he was at Hogwarts, and the battle was well underway. He gripped his wand, firing a few counter curses and a few Expelliarmus, trying to find Kayleigh. He finally reached the stairs and swore he saw her. He rushed past a gaggle of little skirmishes, ducking to miss a red spell that smashed into the wall above his bent over body, and crashed into someone. Scrambling to get up, he held his wand out and was about to yell a spell when he saw it was a fellow Death Eater. The man grinned crookedly at him before smacking him on the back. “Good day to be alive, lad. More fightin’ for the takin’.” A bit shaken up, Felix merely nodded and kept on.He came upon a clear area, and what he saw made him think he was dreaming. No… she couldn’t be there. It was someone else. Someone else had curly hair, wore those robes, held a similar wand… He felt his stomach turn painfully, and a tightness in his chest clamped around his heart. No… it wouldn’t be fair. His feet somehow moved him towards the fallen woman, and he knelt beside her. Even as he stared at her face, he refused to comprehend it. No… Not her. Not his beautiful girl. Anyone but her…Hearing a startled yell, he spun and held his wand up, tears spilling down his cheeks. Blinking them away, his vision cleared a little. A laughing Death Eater made his way towards Felix. “Let’s go! More like her elsewhere.” That was when his eyes flashed dangerously, and he muttered words he never expected to feel. It rose in him, and the hatred that came out of his mouth was full of the despair and loathing he had at that moment. Maybe it was this man who had done it?He didn’t comprehend that the man was down after the green light hit him. All he cared about was Kayleigh. Turning back to her, he knelt over her, his fingers gently tracing her face, his tears falling once again as he begged for Merlin to take him instead. Maybe… maybe that was a sign. His head rested against her robes as he sobbed harder. He had a brief moment of where he considered the end. Then an image of Gabrielle came up, and he gripped Kayleigh’s lifeless body to him harder. He had to leave. Had to pull away. And he did.He ran away for his daughter’s sake, taking the fastest route that he could. Skip to next post

At least, that was what Felix got when he looked it up.[Tell a Story From Your Past That Has Proven Your Mettle:] He sat at home, drumming his fingers nervously against his lips. He only looked over his shoulder to get another look at his fallen love, his world crushed. She made the ultimate sacrifice. Now he had to make his; a life without her. Skip to next post
