[Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] on November 03, 2009, 12:15:08 AM Astrid hated to admit it but she was nervous, this was the first time one of her causes actually warranted a meeting, because it was the first time she had members to meet with. With the help of her wing man, or would it be woman, Fauna Blake, Astrid had a bunch of members and a place to hold her meeting. Astrid had been scouting out a place when Fauna approached her with the idea. It made the most logical sense as it was hopefully away from the ears of the headmistress and any students wanting to ruin the meeting. Astrid wanted the first meeting to go perfectly.Astrid had arrived early to set up at Ms Tulojow Nagde place of residence. She wanted to make sure everything was set to go when people had arrived. She had a little table holding all her information that she wanted to go over and few pamphlets for people new to the cause. She also had a big bucket of pins that had gotten even more specialized since the original design. They now flashed the word SAWS with its definition. Others read SAWS and then flashed a demand for werewolf rights. Astrid was hoping to eventually get Ollie’s face on a pin, but that was of course if Ollie was okay with really being the face of the cause.“Beverages!” Astrid said with excitement almost having forgotten the bottles of Butterbeer she had snuck from Hogsmeade with that convenient passageway she had discovered a few days before. Astrid had enlisted the help of Ringo to get it for her, but it was waiting for her in the basement just as planned. Astrid busied herself with setting up the refreshment table hoping to goodness that people would arrive so. Astrid was bursting with nervous energy hoping people would arrive soon and they could get this ball rolling. He had been approached about SAWS by a member, and was highly interested. He didn't know who all the members were, but he agreed with the stated aim of SAWS. He had been infuriated by news of Ollie's expulsion, even if he wished Ollie had thought to tell him. It wouldnlt have changed how he treated her, but it would have been nice to know. Nevertheless, he had reached the hut Professor Nagde lived in. Opening the door, he walked in. " Hello O'Malley." He said. He'd just stepped out of the Great Hall on his way to the library when the new Hogwarts Healer and approached him and asked him to carry a box of bandages down to the new Hospital Wing. Before Sasha had been given an opportunity to ask questions or say anything, the Madame Nagde had shuffled away again. Left alone with the box of wraps and bandages, Sasha shrugged his shoulders and pushed his way through the door and started down towards the new Hospital facility. He'd been surprised and slightly confused to see a Gryffindor step into the building ahead of him but, as the box of supplies was still in his hands, he continued on into the Hospital. The Joshua, though, wasn't the only student inside and the cozy living room was clearly set up to host some event. Sasha glanced around the small room at Joshua and Astrid before smiling awkwardly. "Um ... allo. Sorry - I didn't know anything was - Madame Nagde asked me to bring this ... down." Sasha shuffled over to the corner and set the box down. "I didn't mean to intrude." Not only was he attending a SAWs meeting, but he also didn't turn in his attendance sheet the other day! HAHA! Though he was going to, he just didn't get around to it. Demetri's rebellion usually consisted of not caring when student make-out in his class or use his room for an indoor skating rink. He just told them not to leave any evidence. It was a good thing to go to the SAWs meeting, anyways. Especially if Nagde would be there. Well, the Woolfolk boy ASSUMED she would be there. If there was any trouble coming, Demetri could just tell whoever was asking questions that it was just an Astronomy club meeting. He hadn't told the president that idea yet, but he was going to. He didn't know Olivia Foley, but he wasn't one to think werewolf segregation was okay. No matter if he had such high respects for Headmistress Snark. Demetri stepped, quickly, down the steps and made a b-line for Nagde's place.Side-stepping a couple of students, he greeted a seventh year girl with his regular boyish grin. "The president of SAWs, I'd assume?" He said, quietly enough. Demetri looked around, nonchalantly, before turning back to the girl. "No worries. I'm joining. Just... Don't tell anyone. They'd have my head." He gave her a wink before sitting down. He recognized the blonde boy, he was in Demetri's class. The other not so familiar, but was definitely around. "I promise, if anything goes wrong, I'll tell them that this is the Astronomy club... Unless Nagde has any other ideas?" Demetri's grin fell back into place. It could have been yesterday. Regardless, she was ready for this meeting to happen. As she walked along the path to the hut, she looked around her nervously, feeling like she should be darting from tree to tree like a ninja spy, of some sort. The thought made her smile, but her stomach was not so amused. It was broad daylight and she was just going over to Tulo’s for some chocolate chip cookies. That was all. There was no underground uprising in Hogwarts, no conspiracy. Right? She grinned and walked a little faster. She reached the hut and thought about knocking, but instead opened the door and poked her head in. To Fauna’s shock and delight, people were already there! People! Fauna walked in, hugging the fliers to her chest.“Hi Josh, hi… professor?” Fauna shot Professor Woolfolk a nervous smile and sidled on over towards Astrid. The last name ‘Woolfolk’ still sent shudders down her spine, even though he seemed very nice and she tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.“Astrid!” She greeted her in an excited half-whisper and touched her arm. “I’ve got fliers! I made new ones last night. And I have a list of things we can talk about, just in case. Do you need any help with anything?” Fauna wondered, amazed at the work Astrid had done so far with the pins and the refreshments. When she heard Sasha’s voice, she looked over to see him standing awkwardly by a box of bandages. From the look on his face Fauna guessed that he didn’t know what was going on. She bit her lip but then smiled shyly at him. Even if he chose to leave, he wouldn’t tell the Headmistress what they were doing. Snark seemed to go out of her way to make his life difficult, for whatever strange reason.“Please stay,” she said, handing him a pin. “We’re going to… what does Maddie call it... stick it to the man?” Fauna chuckled, unaware that she’d probably just confused the boy more. In fact, she had been rather surprised that Fauna had approached her at all, considering they had never spoken before, but this being said, it was hardly a negative thing. Quite the opposite, Adrienna was pleased, either because of the fact that she had had the chance to meet someone new or because of the information Fauna had passed along to her.Of course she had heard about Olivia Foley being expelled. Who hadn’t? Adrienna had believed it a pompous move on Snark’s part from the beginning, and now she was absolutely thrilled that the students were rebelling against such rash behavior. After all, Olivia had never harmed anyone, and no one even knew she was a werewolf until she was already gone. That’s why, on this cool September day, she left the confines of the school and ventured out onto the Grounds. She shuffled down the hill as Madame Nagde’s hut came into view. She hoped she had heard Fauna correctly when she mentioned the place of the meeting. It would be awfully embarrassing to burst into Madame Nagde’s privacy with an imaginary cause. As Adrienna came nearer, she could tell that candles were lit inside, the wavering light visible through the few windows the house possessed. Confident now that this was the meeting place, she made her way inside, and was pleased to find that several people had already arrived. She prayed she wasn’t late. She talked to no one, as she made her way to a table set with mugs of butterbeer and put one to her lips, sipping the syrupy liquid. She watched as people socialized, and wished for a moment that she knew someone well enough to speak to them… Skip to next post Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #6 on November 11, 2009, 09:51:07 PM OutfitTo say that Maddie was merely excited about the first meeting of SAWS would be a gross understatement. She was not just excited, she was exhilarated, exuberant, ecstatic... excetera, excetera. This was her chance. Not only could she be part of something that would really make a difference in how lycanthropy afflicted people were treated, but she could also launch her future career in journalism by writing about it. If she was self-involved, she might have even kissed Ollie for being cursed just because it offered her the headstart she needed. Thankfully, she wasn't that conceited. She was also excited because she got to show off the shirt that she had slaved over for days. With the help of a friend in the art club, she had managed to paint a picture of Headmaster Greyfriar (since she refused to call him merely Mr.) on the front and the phrase "Support a true leader" on the back. She had a fondness for the old bear of a headmaster and believed that it had been far far too early for him to step down. Maybe if enough people got one of these shirts, he would get Snark off the throne and take his rightful place as head of Hogwarts. Wishful thinking probably, but Maddie wasn't the type to lose hope.Arriving at the newly dubbed Hospital Hut, Maddie nearly danced into the party with a wide smile on her face, just in time to hear Fauna mention to Sasha "We’re going to… what does Maddie call it... stick it to the man?" She took no time making her way over to the pair, slapping Sasha on the back and smiling at Fauna "That's right Fi, Stick it to the man... Pull that stick out of Snark's tightass rearend and use it to raise our victory flag!... Figuratively of course..." She wrinkled her nose at the idea. Please take a butterbeer if you like.” She waved her arms to the display of butterbeer she had just finished putting out. She was looking around hoping everything was set up right, because now it was far to late to worry about it.“Sasha stop where you are,” Astrid said. “It is quite alright you are here.” She grinned brightly and waved her hand toward a seat. “Sit, sit!” She wasn’t going to let a potential member get away too fast. “Please join in the meeting, it hasn’t started yet. It is the first SAWS meeting.”Astrid was busy coaxing Sasha into staying when she heard another voice and turned to see an older person, a professor. She knew who this was; it was Neely’s brother. “That is me, president of SAWS.” Astrid chuckled a little as she looked at her cousin’s brother. “I am glad to see a professor involved,” Astrid was looking for all the support she could muster especially from the faculty what with the Headmistress on her. “Please have a seat and hopefully the meeting shall start soon.”Fliers, that was a word that all she needed. “Fantastic Fauna!” She was so pleased to see more fliers and information for the cause. Fauna was a great gal to have on the team. Astrid was going to have to tell Fauna she was brilliant, but right now was not the time or the place as they had a meeting to get under way. “That’s right we are going to stick it to the man.”“Welcome Madeline and Adrienna!” She said as she bounced on the spot with sheer energy and excitement due to the nervous energy. She just wanted to get the ball rolling but she was going to wait for a few more people before putting on that authoritative voice. Skip to next post Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #8 on November 14, 2009, 05:26:26 PM Grace Eddy was fired up and ready to go. Many times when she was like this, it was when she was leading the charge for one crusaded cause or another. She was a do-er. She was a creator. And she was a motivator too when she wanted to be. All of these traits made her a wonderful leader. But Grace could also be an equally great follower as well. While she loved the ability to be in charge and run a show, when there were other people who were just as dedicated and talented with their own projects, she was content to fall into step behind them or to take a back seat. She didn't need the limelight. For Grace, it was more about being productive and getting something done.Besides, there are benefits to not being the one in charge, the redhead mused as she headed towards the hospital hut for the first meeting of SAWS. There's less stress. And Merlin knows I have more than enough stress...As she continued her trek to her destination, Grace mulled over how the start of the new year had gone thus far. She was taking seven classes, which for many students was close to insanity. What made it a little more insane was that Grace didn't even need all seven of them in order to become a Healer. She only needed five. But she was taking the other two -- Ancient Runes and History of Magic -- because they were what she considered her classes to enjoy. Because she didn't need them, she didn't have the stress of having to be perfect in them. That was in theory, of course. Because Grace would still try to be perfect at everything anyway. Even if it killed her.Grace was distracted from her illusions of gradeur when she finally reached her destination. She quietly slipped inside and was thrilled to see the gathering of people already there. She immediately made her way over to a group with some faces she recognized and exclaimed, "Astrid! Fauna! Wow, the turnout is amazing!" The Gryffindor turned a friendly smile to a younger crop of students nearby and even a slightly more timid one to Professor Woolfolk. She turned back to Astrid and Fauna and before she could stop herself, she said, "I can't wait for things to get started. If you need help with anything, just let me know...." Skip to next post Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #9 on November 15, 2009, 04:51:14 PM Freya didn't really want to join a club, but she'd been told in no uncertain terms that student groups looked good on a resume. She was thinking Wizard Chess club, maybe, or Astronomy Club. Probably the former, since it meant she didn't really have to mingle, but just show up, play a couple of games (probably lose) and go back to her dorm.Lysander had other ideas. SAWS. 'Come on Frey, who knows more about Werewolves than you? I mean, your dad was--'"My dad died, Sander. I don't even remember him. Being a Werewolf killed him. I suppose you think that's cool?" she sneered coldly, continuing to pretend to peruse the list of clubs hanging on the bulletin board in the corridor."Ollie," he said smugly, then lapsed into an uncharacteristic silence: Lysander couldn't make it ten seconds without opening his mouth, but he didn't even look at her. He pretended to clean nonexistent dirt out from under his impeccable manicure, looking as if he was completely engrossed in his nails...Freya waited, but it seemed he really was done arguing. She sighed. Unfortunately, he was right. With that one word, he blew away any rebuttal. Headmistress Snark was possibly Freya's least favorite adult. No... she was. The longer she held the position, the more Freya hated her guts. That was unusual, for adults: Freya was the sort who preferred their company to her own peers, looked up to them, actually was polite and nonjudgmental... except when they proved they weren't worthy of her respect. Even then, it went against her grain. She felt guilty, as if she were planning a betrayal. She seethed inwardly, wishing she could somehow make the world see what a worthless flobberworm Hogwarts' headmistress was-- what was next? Werewolves... then the children of Werewolves? How about people who knew Werewolves? Half-giants? Would she cleanse the Forbidden Forest of Centaurs? Freya's lip curled at the thought of Headmistress Snark and her little purification crusade-- if that was what it was (and Freya had a very suspicious mind). She sighed into Lysander's silence. "All right."He made a little skip and clapped his hands, grinning. 'Oh, goody!'She had time to regret the decision, as he didn't stop chattering the entire time Freya trudged out to the Hospital Hut. He walked backwards a lot, leading the way, so he could face her and keep talking as she walked. She wondered if he had some plan to introduce a new fashion-- Werewolf fashion, or maybe yellow armbands or something equally stupid for solidarity-- then she colored guiltily at the uncharitable thought. Lysander was a good sort. He probably was interested in supporting Werewolf rights. Maybe he just didn't want to go without a friendly face. Her encouragement seemed to mean a lot to him-- as oxymoronic as that thought was. He typically reacted to her growls and sullen comments as if she'd smiled and given him a kiss... which, privately, Freya actually meant it as such. When they arrived, they slipped through the door together, Lysander insisting on holding her hand though she dropped it immediately when she saw there was already a crowd."I'm going to regret this, aren't I?" she rasped through clenched teeth.'Yes.' he answered smugly, not taking offense when she jerked her hand from his. 'Hey! Butterbeer!' he interjected happily, and left her standing framed in the doorway to nick a bottle.Freya groaned and wavered at the threshold, looking as if she were about to bolt. How many people were in there already? Was he likely to get lost in s crowd of people twice his size? There were times when he really didn't care for being on the small side. No, no, lots of people was a good thing, he reminded himself. It meant more people cared about this. They had a message to get out, wrongs to right, and there was strength in numbers.Even if those numbers were a little daunting right about now...Reaching the hut, Pax squeezed his eyes shut briefly, mentally bracing himself, then pushed open the door. His bobbed up and down a little; there weren't so many people that he felt crowded. This was a nice, manageable size so far, good for a first meeting. He breathed out a little. On the other hand, as he had predicted, there was no one his own age here. No one under fifth year, by the looks of things. Pax kept telling himself he could deal with that, it just meant he was a bit mature for his age or something. He wasn't some odd one out here. He was with like-minded people... Friends? Maybe? He had no cause to feel intimidated. All the same, he didn't stop for small talk with any of the unfamiliar crowd, opting instead to make a beeline for the two friendly faces he knew best in the room. 'Hey Astrid, he Fauna,' he piped up, appearing at their elbows and trying not to look timid about it. 'Uh, nice turnout!' he commented, remembering to inject some encouragement into his tone. Her steps were, like always, measured and deliberately small (not the accidental small that came with have a short stature). She was used to falling behind during group ventures. Except group exercise runs, then she usually lead the pack. As she came to the doorway, she saw her house and classmate at the doorway. "Hello Jansdotter," Kit said politely, "Lovely to see you here."Kit didn't actually know the girl that well, she seemed to keep to herself and leaned toward the abrasive side. Kit always tried to be polite and friendly with her however, seeing how they were housemates and classmates and Kit still believed that Freya just needed to good friend to help her with her rough edges. After four years and counting, it didn't seem that was going to be Kit, but one could hope. But really, Kit had more important things to thing about. Like the reason she was here, SAWS. She stepped into the "hospital hut" and took a seat, legs crossed at the ankles, ever so proper (as always). She saw that "Professor" Woolfolk was present, but didn't acknowledge him more than a flick of the eyes to his person and back. She didn't like the man, it was no secret, but if he was here to support SAWS, then he had just earned a few points in Kit's book. Same held true (to a lesser extent) of Astrid, who Kit didn't really know all that well except she desperately wanted to comb out her dreadlocks. But she was the mastermind of the whole thing, so Kit had heard, and Kit would take the brilliancy of SAWS with bad hair over no SAWS and perfect hair any day of the week.So why was, Kit Branwell, straight laced and serious, present at what could very well amount to a student rebellion group? For the same reason she detested blood purists and spoke proudly of her Muggle-Born father. Justice and fairness were things Kit prized above even proper etiquette. What the Headmistress had done to Olivia Foley was wrong. There was no other word for it. Kit didn't even know the girl that well, despite being a classmate, but she knew enough. Foley was of student age and a witch living in the UK. That should mean she attended Hogwarts, but because of the new Headmistress that right had been denied to her. And that was not just wrong, it was despicable. Glancing around the room at the other turnouts, Kit noticed a unlikely something that made her smile."That is a wonderful T-shirt, Pratt," Kit said to her Hufflepuff classmate. "Did you make that yourself?"Oh yes, Kit very much appreciated Pratt's homemade T-shirt (even if she personally would rather shave her head than wear T-shirts). Kit agreed wholeheartedly. Bring back Greyfriar or someone like him. Someone with a heart and a moral compass. She noticed the box of pins and the stack of fliers and was quite impressed with the organization so far. It was a good omen for things to come, in Kit's way of thinking. It was more likely that they would be able to get something accomplished, rather than make a ruckus. For her part, Kit had magically engraved the organizations name on a necklace she ordered to show her support, not realizing there would be pins. Well, she supposed she could just wear both, then. Skip to next post Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #12 on November 24, 2009, 09:46:30 PM Figaro felt really weird about going to Astrid's meeting. Astrid was probably the most off-the-wall student at school. And that was saying something. Figaro himself didn't even come close. And even crazy Beatrix Dark didn't have rumors going around about how she might have visions of the future. Figaro couldn't remember who he'd heard that from, but it was pretty nuts.Figaro cared enough about Oliva Foley as the next person, and even more since they had been mates in school and in the same year. But what Darcy had done last week - nearly burning the school down. And the tirade that had come of that. Darcy being sent home, Aurors and Daily Prophet reporters on campus for the day. And now Figaro had heard that Darcy might never get to come back to school. All because of Olivia? So getting involved in wacky Astrid O'Malley's pro-Olivia party didn't really have the hallmarks of a good idea. But what the heck? Everyone else was going. And Fauna said there'd be food. The rustic little hut was warm and there certainly was food. And everyone. A whole host of people Figaro didn't usually get to chat with. Naturally, he knew everyone's names - he made it his business to know. He immediately latched onto the other Hufflepuffs and perched on the arm of a chair near them. Half-standing, half-sitting. Just in case?"So are we going to bust Ollie out of Azkaban? I've got some rope," he volunteered cheerfully in a loud voice. Skip to next post Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #13 on November 26, 2009, 04:43:13 AM Astrid moved to stand behind the podium that had been set up to mark the somewhat authoritative stance on the whole public speaking thing. It was a good thing that Astrid was no stranger to public speaking from hours of standing in Diagon Alley or the halls of Hogwarts preaching about a cause that nobody seemed to give the time of day about. Astrid of course never had the experience to stand before a crowd who was actually there to listen to her speak about a cause, her cause. Some how Astrid had landed herself the head of a cause people wanted to rally and stand behind, it was a dream come true.Astrid started to fumble around in her jacket for her wand, fumbling as her dreads fell into her face. She grumbled slightly as she pulled out a pin and a few pamphlets from her pockets rather than the wand itself. “Yes!” She said in surprise as she felt her hand grasp around her purple coloured wand. She placed her wand to her throat using the enhancement charm. “EXCUSE ME CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION!” She blushed and felt her shoulders cuddle up to her ears as she realised just how loud that was. “Oops sorry that was loud,” she said sheepishly as placed her wand on the podium for easy access rather than fumbling through the pockets of her jacket again.“Please help your self to the refreshments and snacks,” she pointed towards the table. “And please take a seat as we are to start this discussion.” She looked over at Figaro as he spoke up. “Hold your horses Figaro! Ollie is not in Azkaban and we have no need to go break her out and I think we would need a little more than rope.” Astrid snickered as she shook her head getting ready to start into the heart of the meeting.“Now I would like to start this meeting by thanking you all for arriving and showing your support for SAWS.” Astrid could not verbalize just how much she appreciated the support of her upperclassmen and lowerclassmen alike. She smiled brightly as she looked at all the faces looking at her so expectantly. “Fauna is also been a great help and she definitely deserves a round of applause.” Astrid clapped quietly and grinned.“The first thing on the agenda is actually more so about our second meeting oddly enough.” Astrid looked down at her papers. “I have been contacting a few people inflicted with the curse of being a werewolf and we have the potential to set up a guest speaker for a meeting. Of course we could never get a werewolf on the school grounds what with Headmistress Snark here,” the word Snark was said with much contempt, “So I have thought we could have a meeting during a Hogsmeade weekend, for those capable of going to Hogsmeade of course.” Well she knew a way to get some of the lowerclassmen there but that was only if they felt comfortable with breaking a few school rules in the process. “I know this does single out a few of our members but I do feel it is important to talk to a werewolf first hand about the issues and their feelings on matter, perhaps we can even talk to Olivia if she feels like popping in for a visit on our Hogsmeade visit.” Astrid intended to send Olivia and owl or even ask Fauna to do asking.Astrid grinned as she looked down at her documents at the next plan on the agenda. Astrid had the details of a potential sit in for the rights of Olivia to return to school or even a rally, she was going to poll the group. She also going to open the floor for suggestions but she wanted to see the interest in the idea of a meeting first. “Please let me hear your thoughts on the idea.”If you are just entering now that is just fine, you can either rp as if you character has been here the entire time or you can make your character pop in late, Astrid won't mind.Anyone can pop up with suggestions. I will leave the floor open for a bit before Astrid pops in again and starts blabbering like she definitely knows how to do. Skip to next post Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #14 on November 26, 2009, 06:55:33 PM Standing in the doorway, Sasha's eyes slid, slowly, over the assortment of students gathered around the room. There were no textbooks out and no one appeared to be studying. Not to mention, the students were of different houses and years. This was no study group. Sasha knew that much. Finally, he looked a little closer at the array of paraphernalia scattered around the room. Before he could get a closer look, though, a hand patted him gently on the shoulder."Put them in the corner," the nurse instructed Sasha, slipping through the door behind him, pointing from the box of bandages to a back corner. Sasha watched the nurse, suspiciously, as she limped through a door into what appeared to be a small kitchen. As he crossed the room to set the box down, he got a closer look at one of the flashing buttons and froze. Werewolf rights. Slowly, more suspiciously, he looked around the room and, as his mind finally pieced the details together, he felt his stomach tightened uncomfortably. The arrival of a professor only made Sasha's stomach churn further. And, it wasn't just any professor - it was one of very few professors in whose class Sasha's behavior had been less than stellar. If not rude. This wasn't good. "I figured it could be a healing charm study group," the nurse offered the astronomy professor as she reemerged from the kitchen baring several plates of warm cookies. "Given the location. An out of place study group under my nose would raise suspicions in itself." Fauna's invitation to stay only confirmed Sasha's suspicions. This - this was ridiculous and Sasha was surprised that someone like Fauna - quiet and sensible - would be wrapped up in something like this. He stared at her, slowly shaking his head. What, exactly, were they expecting to come from this? How could it really be worth it?"That's right Fi, Stick it to the man... Pull that stick out of Snark's tightass rearend and use it to raise our victory flag!... Figuratively of course..."Sasha flinched slightly but the words were enough to prod him out of silence. "You're ... you're all going to get yourselves expelled," Sasha said, shaking his head again. Had they not been watching? Had they not seen what Snark was willing to do - and had done? What were they planning on doing? And, she was probably just looking for an excuse in Sasha's case. Despite his words, Sasha remained standing where he was. Neither leaving nor taking the offered seat. He wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do. Part of him acknowledged that just walking out or playing the good prefect would be submitting to playing the role of Analiza Snark's pawn. Which, if he thought it'd help him, he might consider. But, somehow, he was already on the woman's radar. He was well aware of the arrival of more students and his uncertainty grew. He didn't want to just walk out but as more and more people arrived, the more people there would be who'd seen him here. At least, if he got expelled, Dreogan had reassured him he could go study with this Laevenstrome fellow. Still standing in the corner, he listened to Astrid as she launched into her explanation and ideas for the next meeting. Take a group of students to meet a werewolf in Hogsmeade? Were they serious? Sasha looked around the room, searching relentlessly for someone - anyone, really - who might be sharing his doubts and concerns. Surely, he couldn't be the only one who could see where this was leading. “Please let me hear your thoughts on the idea.”"You're all going to get expelled," he repeated, shaking his head. "How's that going to help? Is it really worth it?" Skip to next post
Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #1 on November 03, 2009, 09:28:01 AM Josh headed for Professor Nagde's residence, heading for the SAWS meeting that was starting soon there. Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #2 on November 03, 2009, 11:57:28 AM Sasha hadn't, really, understood the reasoning but he hadn't really questioned it. "I didn't mean to intrude." Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #3 on November 03, 2009, 01:49:13 PM Though Professors usually weren't allowed to express their views, Demetri Woolfolk was a rebel without a cause. Not only was he attending a SAWs meeting, but he also didn't turn in his attendance sheet the other day! Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #4 on November 04, 2009, 12:43:16 AM Fauna couldn’t remember the last time she’d been so excited and nervous. Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #5 on November 06, 2009, 05:03:12 PM Adrienna had not been expecting Fauna Blake to approach her earlier that day and hand her a flashing pin. She watched as people socialized, and wished for a moment that she knew someone well enough to speak to them… Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #6 on November 11, 2009, 09:51:07 PM OutfitTo say that Maddie was merely excited about the first meeting of SAWS would be a gross understatement. Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #7 on November 13, 2009, 03:07:31 AM Astrid glanced up in anticipation as she heard the sound of her last name, and the arrival of footsteps. “Hello and welcome. Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #8 on November 14, 2009, 05:26:26 PM Grace Eddy was fired up and ready to go. If you need help with anything, just let me know...." Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #9 on November 15, 2009, 04:51:14 PM Freya didn't really want to join a club, but she'd been told in no uncertain terms that student groups looked good on a resume. Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #10 on November 17, 2009, 09:00:49 PM Pax swallowed nervously as he tromped down the hill towards the hospital hut, unable to help noticing all the people walking in ahead of him that he didn't know. Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #11 on November 20, 2009, 11:43:49 AM [outfit]Kit carefully navigated her way down the the meeting point, following behind the other crowd of students. Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #12 on November 24, 2009, 09:46:30 PM Figaro felt really weird about going to Astrid's meeting. Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #13 on November 26, 2009, 04:43:13 AM Astrid moved to stand behind the podium that had been set up to mark the somewhat authoritative stance on the whole public speaking thing. Skip to next post
Re: [Sept 15]The First SAWS Meeting [SAWS Members] Reply #14 on November 26, 2009, 06:55:33 PM Standing in the doorway, Sasha's eyes slid, slowly, over the assortment of students gathered around the room.
