The bags under his eyes are a tell-tale sign that something is putting the famous quidditch player under pressure. Rita Skeeter wearing a beautifully tailored, unbelievably flattering cloak spotted the coach leaving Magique Couture, the shop owned by Mister Snark's elder sister and aspiring fashion designer, Aurelia Snark. Rita Skeeter tried to get information from the coach about his personal life. Mister Snark was most unwilling to cooperate, and when asked about whether it was true his daughter actually supported the Montrose Magpies, Snark said something that, unfortunately cannot be reproduced for explicit reasons. Miss Skeeter had no option but to assume that it was in fact Mister Snark's daughter, Arielle Snark a soon to be fifth year Gryffindor student at Hogwarts, that was the cause of Snark's scraggy appearance that day.Rita Skeeter pressed Augustus Snark to get something out of him regarding his quidditch profession by using her charm, intellect, wit and good looks. When he refused to answer any questions about bad boy Dominik Wiedman the subject turned to Montrose Magpies coach Misha Prinz. This was one topic which Snark seemed to have an opinion on, simply stating "He's a German pansy who seems to have an odd fear of broom cupboards. What else can be said?"
