Physical Description: Trina is not a very tall individual at 5’4”.  Her skin is fair and  freckle free, though she has on occasion wished she had some freckles.  Trina’s cheeks have a natural light pink glow to them, which give a happy look to her oval face.  She’s always felt that she was lucky because her skin has always been clear.  She did have a problem with oily skin when she was younger, but found a product that helped keep her skin perfect.  Trina knows that she is good looking, but doesn’t flaunt it. 

Trina has brown eyes that are constantly in a state of smiling.  She has always thought that her right eye was slightly higher than her left, but no one else seems to notice.  She doesn’t mind to much, as long as her vision stays as good as it is now.  Trina has always been thankful that she doesn’t wear glasses or need to.  Like her eyes, Trina normally has a smile on her face.  She feels that there is a lot to enjoy in life, and shares this with everyone around here.  When she’s smiling, she has a way of bringing a smile to the faces of those surrounding her.  Her smile also shows her well-pronounced cheekbones.

Her wavy dark brown hair falls about half a foot below her shoulders, and is normally seen down with a layered hairstyle. She loves the feeling of running her hands through her hair, so she works hard to keep it soft and shiny.  When she’s out in the sun, her hair has a bit of a reddish glow to it.  Trina’s favorite part about her hair is the color of it.  Her hair is mainly brown, but also has some red, which she feels gives it it’s own beauty.

Trina also has much confidence, which is shown in her posture. Her body is trim as she enjoys exercise and dance to stay in shape. She carries herself very well, which allowed her to catch the eyes of many talent scouts.  Her confidence has also helped her to her current position as one of the most well known singers among the wizarding community.  Her confidence also is the reason she doesn’t feel the need to wear much makeup.  She prefers being her natural self, and she feels wearing makeup doesn’t allow her to be natural.

When she’s out, Trina likes wearing what most would consider Muggle clothing.  She feels that jeans are one of the best inventions of Muggles.  They’re very comfortable to her, and can be more dressy or casual when she wants them to be.  She does tend to be a bit more glamorous with her wardrobe, wearing flowing dresses, or minis with jeans.  She loves wearing the colors red and purple, as they are also her favorite colors. 

Personality Description:  Trina loves life, and enjoys almost everything.  She grew up as an only child, and has always loved being around others.  Since she had no siblings, she made friends with practically everyone around her.  Trina shares her joy with all and never has difficulty making new friends.  People like being around her, and she likes being around them.  She loves being at parties and the feeling of a group of people enjoying themselves.

Magazines are always doing stories on her, and she strives to always have a good image.  Of course as a lead singer of a band, she’s the one they try to focus on.  She does like to stay out of focus though.  On occasion though, there have been stories of her partying late.  Trina doesn’t think that these are too bad, so doesn’t mind.  What would life be if we didn’t all have some fun at times? That being said, yes, Trina does have a bit of a wild side, and loves going on adventures.

But of course, for those stories of her having fun, there are some nice ones.  Trina loves teaching kids how to play instruments, or learning to sing.  She just loves to share music with everyone, as it’s been the only constant thing in her life.  Music has always been there, and she thinks that it is great for enhancing the mind.  Also, she does love her fans, and loves being able to spend time with some of the younger ones with the music lessons.

But that being said, Trina loves being the life of the party almost all the time.  She doesn’t have to be actually out on the town to have a good time either.  She’ll call over some of her girlfriends and have a “girls night”.  Those are some of her favorite times, when she has her girls over. She would say she enjoys quiet nights like those, but they end up not being too quiet. It makes Trina thankful that she’s got such a nice big house in the middle of nowhere.

On the opposite side, she very much dislikes being alone.  Trina loves being in the spotlight, but when she’s not, she feels as though a part of herself is missing.  The reason she constantly surrounds herself with others is because she is afraid of being alone.  For someone who was always making friends easily, it is difficult to not be around people. 

There are times where Trina does need time away from the hustle and bustle of the entertainment business, but she normally has at least one good friend with her.  If none of her friends are available, she always has her cat, Eliza.  Trina would almost venture to call Eliza her best friend because of how much the cat seems to get her.  Eliza would go with her almost everywhere, and is a very well behaved and intuitive cat.  While she doesn't take Eliza with her out on the town, when on tour, Eliza is always with her.

Trina doesn’t discriminate against anyone by blood status.  She has many good friends that are halfbloods or muggleborn.  She sometimes has the best adventures with her muggleborn friends.  They will take her out to Muggle London and see some plays on the West End theatre district.  Her first adventure there was one of the best moments of her life.  Of course, there weren’t people flocking to her all over, but she had never seen a muggle musical before.  Although there weren’t any witches or wizards in the production, she could feel the magic of the music. 

Muggle music included, Trina has always appreciated every kind of music.  She grew up listening to the WWN and all the music programs on there.  She would hear the muggle music playing on the radio and would even sing along.  And then of course, when she was first introduced to muggle musicals, she grew quite fond of the soundtracks.

Another hobby of hers is reading.  Of course, growing up with a father in publishing, she was bound to like books.  Sometimes she’s gotten ideas for songs from a book she’s read.  Trina loves going into book stores and just picking out whatever looks interesting.  She’s often seen in whatever bookstore is around where she is performing, or a few close to her house.  She’s also fascinated with the things that muggles can think up in their books.

When she is reading, that’s one of the few times that she is all right being alone.  In fact, Trina almost prefers it.  She loves being able to get lost in story lines. The different scenarios of the characters, as well as the different lands that she can travel to all in her mind.  Also, Trinia tends to find reading a great way to... relax after a long night of concerts and possibly a little too much firewhiskey.

History:  Trina was born to Teresa Sophia Merrick and James Nikolas Quinn on May 30th, 1983. The couple had married a year previously after having worked together at James’s publishing company.  Teresa had secretly liked him until he asked her out one day.  She said yes, and the rest, as they say, is history.

James’s father, Brady Quinn, was only known to him for a few years.  Brady had left James’s mother, Anna, when James was only four.  Deciding to not find him, James stayed with his mother and went on to Hogwarts when he was eleven.  Unaware of his younger brother Lukas, the two did not realize their relationship to each other.  Lukas entered Hogwarts as James was in his fifth year.  Eventually the two met up and realized they shared the same father.  The two do not stay in much contact, but will be friendly towards each other when they do meet up.  James is also only slightly aware of another brother, Benjamin.

As for Teresa, she was born into a fairly well known wizarding family.  Her father was known for writing a few books on creatures.  She has an elder brother, who works at Mungo’s as a healer. Both attended Hogwarts around the same time, and both were in Ravenclaw.  Teresa followed somewhat in her father’s footsteps and worked with books.  Eventually she got the job working with James.  They had previously known each other through Hogwarts, but only a little.  It was when they worked at James’ company that they got to know each other better.

Trina's mother's side was religious once upon a time, but Trina wasn't raised that way.  She does, however bear a "Jewish nose" and a few other physical traits of those in the religion.  There had been some falling out with her great-grandfather and her grandfather once he was shown to be a wizard. After that, the Merricks drifted away from Judaism.

Of course, being born into the Quinn family Trina was bound to have both musical and magical talent.  She just didn’t know that her family was known for their talent.  She knew vaguely that she had a couple cousins, but was unaware of their musical ability.  Trina had always known that she was good with music.  She learned how to play both the guitar and piano at a young age. 

At the age of eleven, she received her Hogwarts letter and her parents were thrilled.  Trina went into Hogwarts with such enthusiasm, ready to learn.  This enthusiasm led her to be sorted into Ravenclaw.  After a few years, Trina became one of the most outgoing students of her year.  She became friends with practically everyone, and loved going to and planning different Hogwarts events. 

One of Trina’s favorite things to do was going out on the castle grounds and just sitting down with a guitar and playing.  She’d always have a few friends with her, and more people to join.  She was well versed in much of the popular music and would even take requests.  Trina loved most to play her own songs for her friends and peers. 

Trina was also on good terms with her teachers.  They knew she did have a habit of getting into some trouble, as she loved sneaking around the castle at night with her friends.  So often times she found herself in detention, but ended up just helping the teachers grade homework.  The all thought she could go on to many different jobs, including a few Ministry jobs.  But when the time came, she settled on going into the music business.

During her 5th year at Hogwarts, she became knowledgeable of a band called Three Owl Standard.  Dennis Creevy, of her year, was one of the founders of the band.  They focused on much anti-Voldemort music and eventually had to go into hiding.  Trina believed in their cause, that muggles and muggle-borns shouldn’t be discriminated against.  As Three Owl Standard went into hiding, Trina stayed at Hogwarts, safe by her pureblood status.  She did, however, continue listening to Potterwatch with a few of her other friends, who all were thankful to hear of Three Owl Standard still being safe.

After graduating from Hogwarts, she moved out to Hogsmeade. There, she was able to play some small gigs in bars, or at different festivals. Trina tried to get herself into whatever she could in order to play. And there, she would still be able to see friends from Hogwarts when they had their weekends in Hogsmeade.

A few years after she graduated from Hogwarts, she met up with Dennis, who was looking for a new lead vocalist.  As Trina was talented in the way of music, she was accepted, lending a hand with song writing as well as guitar and piano skills.  Thrilled to be a member of the Wizard Rock band that she had always been a fan of, she works hard to keep the band at the top of the charts.

Trina is the lead singer for the band Three Owl Standard.  She had been a fan of the band in her days at Hogwarts, when the band was established.  A few years after graduating, she ran into Dennis Creevy, who was a member of the band.  The worked out a deal, which introduced Trina as the new singer, as the band was now in need of one.

Trina has been singing and playing the piano for as long as she can remember.  A bit later, she learned to play the guitar.  She has always been musically inclined, Knowing that some day she would be in the music industry, she worked hard to get where she is. She practiced all the time, and grew up entertaining her family, friends, and even random strangers.

It had been another long night for Trina.  First the concert and then she’d decided to head out into the more trendy area of this little town that they were playing at.  A couple of her friends were there and Trina had decided to leave her bandmates and go have some fun.  And fun she did have.  But now she realized that she might have had a little too much fun, which now resulted in quite the headache.  The headache, she knew, was the result of a little too much to drink, and not enough to eat.  And not enough water.

Unfortunately, there had been some kind of a reporter there who had managed to get some pictures of her. They never stop do they? she’d asked herself as she’d seen the flashbulb go off.  Trina had tried covering her face, but she knew it wouldn’t do much good. Why can’t they get me when I’m helping small children with music or something? Always interested in the partying. she thought to herself.   

But now she managed to pull herself out of last night’s events.  Sitting down at a nice shaded table outside of a small cafe, Trina pulled out a book.  This time it was some older fantasy book written by some muggle with some individual letters instead of a first name and a weird last name.  Whoever this man was, he sure knew how to write.  Though his description of wizards might have been a bit weird.  But he had some interesting characters, like some short people who didn’t wear shoes.  And then of course, a misrepresentation of elves.  Though Trina wouldn’t mind meeting those kinds of elves.

But besides this book, she was enjoying some tea and the most magical scone Trina had ever tasted.  A fashionable wide-brimmed hat blocked out the sun, as well as a pair of sunglasses were being employed to hid her identity.  As much as she thought she’d hidden herself, there was still a young fan who had noticed her.

“Please, Miss Quinn... Would I be able to get an autograph?” She heard the voice to her right and looked over from her book.  The young boy was holding a picture of her, smiling and waving, and a pen.

Taking the picture, Trina asked the boy for his name and gave him a personalized autograph.  She then returned the picture and pen to him with a smile. “Here you are. Have a great day!”

With a thank you and a smile from both the boy and his mother, she watched them walk off.   Headache subsiding, Trina took another sip of her tea, followed by a bite of her scone.  Smiling, she pulled her book back up and got lost in a far away land.
