"Goodnight mum." She said gently as she closed the door, slowly stepping into her room and looking around it, she felt sick, it wasn't just the wolfsbane potion either, she knew this wasn't a good plan, but she had no other choice right? Someone had targeted her during Hogsmeade, if they could get her there and match with Professor Storm then...her parents were at risk right?

They weren't duelists, they couldn't really fight, they barely fought back the Werewolf that had attacked her, so if they came back for her, her parents would be killed...after all if they're going to torture and kill her and still get away with it, if they were the same person who had attacked the safehouse...then her parents weren't anything in the end were they? It was for their safety...

Slowly she changed from the nightwear she was in to change back into normal clothing, wanting something warm, she needed to be quiet so her parents didn't hear her, they'd never allow it and...it was too painful regardless to say goodbye...

Soon she packed several sets of clothing inside a hiking backpack she had, slipping her wand into her pocket, she knew she couldn't use it or the Ministry would find her and be on her instantly, but she wasn't going to leave it behind, and if things got really bad...if she had an encounter with the one who was after her, then it might alert them and they might catch the bastard. She'd be forgiven then right? Helping to find a murderer? She knew it wouldn't end up that way, if she encountered them she'd likely die, or the ministry would still expel her...but...

She slipped a sleeping bag into her stuff, followed by some rope for good measure, and as a possible defense, although it was ultimately meaningless, she had an Airsoft pistol, that might help right? Most Wix weren't too knowledgeable on Muggle stuff and so the chances of them knowing it isn't real by it being bright blue might be in her favour, although they might not even realize what it was is also likely.

Finally she packed her money in her pocket, her diary in her bag and wrote a note for her parents.

Mum, Dad.
I'm sorry.

Someone is after me, they came at me when I was in Hogsmeade, they fought off a Teacher. If they come here then I'm putting you in harm.

Do not worry about me, I know how to handle myself.

I'm sorry.

I love you.

Lucy

She wiped the tears from her eyes as they fell onto the pages, opened her window, and slipped silently down the side of the building, quickly rushing away a few streets down the road.

Just as quickly as she had gotten away, she fell onto the side of the road, sitting on the curb she made herself into a ball and started to cry, she knew she could go back, she could just slip back in, they'd never know, but it was for them...she didn't want anything to happen to her parents...

She held her wand out, and with a bang a purple shape emerged in the distance...

Morning had come, it was a nice day her mother thought, perhaps the three of them could go to the park, or go rock climbing, something that might cheer Lucinda up, she thought her daughter must be needing something to pick her up, not only had she had the terrible incident, but then to have it follow up in Hogsmeade, and with the full moon coming up she needed something to take her mind off things as best as she could.

She couldn't claim to know into her daughters mind anymore, but being inside wasn't going to help her, she needed something fun and relaxing outside, perhaps even simply a hike would be enjoyable for all three of them?

She gently stirred the pot of tea before pouring out three cups, a splash of milk into them and two teaspoons of sugar for her daughter, something to brighten her up as she set the eggs on the frying pan, knowing her new disliking of meat she had ensured there was none in the house, something her husband wasn't too fond of but understood perfectly, he was likely to sneak out for a sausage roll later.

With a cup of tea in her left hand, she knocked on the door with her right. "Lucy, honey, I'm coming in." She said gently, although she didn't hear a reply. "You can't be sleeping this late dear." She said again, only to hear no reply once more. With a sigh she knocked one last time. "I'm coming in, so make sure you have a bra on or your top if you don't want to be embarrassed."

Upon opening the door however it was worse.

The cup fell, and shattered on the ground with a wail of fear and despair.
