Dearest Meredith,

Thank you for your owl. I am well. Healed at the very least. Very lucky not to be hurt worse than I was. Or transfigured into an umbrella. I was stunned and impersonated. It was a very convincing disguise. Others were hurt. But they will recover. We will share the story next we meet. I hope you keep Slytherin house in order. Work hard. Know that I love you. Alas Andy's budget report waits for no man. Despite duels.
