Wand: 13 inches Ivy wand, small grooves along it for grip and is perfect for holding on tightly to, with a groove at the back to rest it smoothly against the arm. A small chain has been added to the wand that will adjust itself to the wrist it is wrapped around to make it harder to disarm or drop the wand. Phoenix Feather core.
Physical Description:
Tara stands at 5ft 8, with her body itself being well toned, although not looking too muscled she still finds herself with a six pack. Although the body is marred by numerous scars and bites that will never truly heal, most notable on her body being a bite mark on her left shoulder going onto her neck. Followed by a four claw wide cut down from small of her back to the end of her spine where it has torn her. The remaining are either smaller or not as noticeable on her body, such as a cursed burn mark on the back of her left hand, covering from index finger to her wrist.
Her eyes appear as a blue, however her right eye has some red markings on the edges of it that is sometimes visible. Her hair is black and kept short typically, only recently she has started to grow it out, and only as far as down to her shoulders, tied up in a ponytail frequently to reduce risk of it being grabbed or caught. Across her face are numerous more small scratches, and one large scar going from the left ear down to her left cheek formed from a claw mark similar to those on her back.
She tends to prefer more utility based outfits in case of emergency, however she has started to try to relax. Often she will use temporary spells or magical makeup to try to hide the facial scars, however the large clawmark often remains. Her voice tends to dip into a rough tone as if she just had the air choked out of her or had a coughing fit. And although she tries to mask the smell, there is always a faint smell of ash around her.
Personality Description:
Tara has a rather dark taste for humour and views on life, after years of hunting her practices may seem brutal or extreme but they are effective. She manages to maintain a distance and fully professional, disattached personality during work. This is when she is most brutal or cold, although it has proven to be useful, often being unphased by even the most brutal scenes happening infront of her. She is not completely uncaring however, often risking herself to help protect or save others, she has taken worse.
In the office she will ensure all work is finished and handed in timely and in order, all that matters during working hours is the job she is given and the task to do.
Despite this however, she can be rather nice, out of work she does her best to make friends, being kind and caring for others almost like a switch is flipped and she swaps immediately, although this too can flip back. With her work finished she finds herself trying to experience everything, as if making up for lost time, be it doing something dangerous for fun, casual flings or just spending time keeping shape. She seems to try to do anything to keep herself distracted and away from home.
History:
Tara was born on the 29th of February, showing some magical talent from her fourth birthday, her muggle parents, could never explain anything other then it was due to her being born on an almost non existent day however they could never fully explain it. Until she came of age to attend Hogwarts, her parents went fully into the magical world as much as they could, wanting to relate to their daughter as much as possible.
Tara surprisingly was sorted into Slytherin house, despite the more puritanical views of blood at the time however she fit in with all but the worst of the house. Finding her skills mainly with herbology, DADA and flying, being the Seeker of the Slytherin Quidditich team until 1991, where she was put into reserves due to Marcus playing favourites with the team. Allowing Tara to watch as Slytherin lost the house cup that year. Although this started her potentially worst years in Hogwarts.
During the 1992 year she did her best to stay calm, comforted by her group of friends who tried to protect her during the Basilisk year. It was also where she became spiteful of the more pure-blooded members of Slytherin, as despite her being pushed out of the Quidditch team, Draco Malfoy was able to take her place due to buying his way into the team, while she was still kept in the reserves, feeling even more annoyed when Draco lost matches due to his poor skill.
Her final year was tenser then normal due to the Dementors occupying Hogwarts, however she was thrilled with the performance of the DADA professor in Lupin, graduating the year with an Exceed Expectations in DADA, and passes with Potions and Herbology in her NEWTS. Although her scores didn’t matter in the end, with her managing to get into the Appleby Arrows Quidditich team despite her sidelining by Marcus Flint.
She did attend the 1994 Quidditich World Cup but was not around for the attack afterwards due to her and some friends sharing a cottage nearby and getting rather drunk.
She continued to play well for the Arrows as Seeker until the reign of Voldemort, where she was forced to go on the run, being Muggleborn and accused of stealing magic, during which time she was nearly caught several times but managed to outfly them. After one such encounter she went to her parents, figuring she may be able to lay low if she tried a muggle life or just hid there. This was her biggest mistake, although she wouldn’t know it at the time. She was found regardless, with an attack launched on her house she did her best to protect her parents but ultimately she lost, managing to flee herself but her home and parents were gone.
A week later she responded to the call at Hogwarts, although for her it was hard to accept it was over. She knew that many had managed to escape, and after the dead were tallied she knew the ones who had attacked her and her parents were not yet brought to justice. She took it on herself in the chaos to go after them, much to the ire of the DMLE and those Order of the Phoenix members.
Soon she found her quarry fleeing the country, so she took after them, fueled by anger and need for revenge. The hunt lasted a couple of years before she lost her tracks as they entered Australia, where, unable to continue going by herself and wanting to put her skills to use became a Hit-Witch for the local Ministry to hunt down those that remained and any others who fled to Australia in the hopes of using the great inner of the country as a place to hide.
For twelve years she worked there, always in the hope of finding a lead to the point of obsession, gaining a reputation for being brutal in fights and in her tactics during raids. As the years went on however it got harder to find any remnants or tracks of former Snatchers, until eventually she managed to find a hideout of some remnants that never managed to settle back in. In her eagerness to get them however and knowing that a response unit may spook them and cause them to scatter, she went in alone, making her second biggest mistake and the only one she knowingly made.
A month later she was found as red sparks shot up into the sky, her already scarred form now host to werewolf wounds. Aside from initial incident reports and Werewolf Registration she has hardly seemed interested in talking about what happened other than she finally got the last snatchers including a former pack member of Greyback.
Now with the last members caught or dead, she has found herself unsure what to do, her vengeance driven quest that had lasted fourteen years had ended with a sour taste, she had managed to help arrest or end those who served the Dark Lord, but to the ruin of everything about her. In the hopes of trying to pick up the pieces and have an ordinary life again, she has decided to head back to England and see if she can have a life again.
Describe your job duties and how you go about them:
As a Hit-Witch, Tara would be responsible for responding to situations or going into dangerous missions, such as the breaching teams during magical raids or for going after Dark Wix, this also extends to responding as backup for Aurors and responding to calls for help in the wild. She can also be placed in roles of defense such as looking after people that the ministry may fear are being targeted or as a general bodyguard.

Tara has worked as a Hit-Witch for the Australian Ministry of Magic for twelve years, in that time she has fought against former Snatchers and Death-Eaters, along with managing to take down one of Greyback’s former pack. Before this she had fought against Snatchers in the wild and participated inside the Battle of Hogwarts.

Tara is a Hit-Witch, having formerly been a Seeker for the Appleby Arrows after graduating from Hogwarts. During Voldemorts return she went into hiding due to her Muggleborn status with her taking to hiding at her parents house, this led to them being attacked and killed. After the Battle of Hogwarts she took to hunting down those involved in the attack. She spent 12 years working as a Hit-Witch in the Australian ministry to take on those that fled there. Now with her work done, she seeks to return home and hopefully settle down.
