Gardens around the Greenhouse's

Left foot in the air, right foot on the ground, quick jump. Now right foot on the ground, left in the air. Hup! Hup! Right foot down, left in the air! Left foot went up to her back for fun! Right foot in front for balance. Her right was stronger then her left, so her right had to balance while on her left. One jump, two jump, three jump! Hup hup hup! She jumped one leg forwards, one leg back! "One up, two up, three up, the Queens up. She holds power, even the lowliest of us can flower!"

Akira sang happily as she hopped along the gardens, she had been here a few times, well she had to have been around here for the greenhouses, but now she was exploring about for some test subjects, she wanted to practice transfiguration, she wasn't planning anything back of course! She wouldn't harm animals! But it was perfect chance to practice nonetheless! She had some plans to practice, firstly was some normal spells, then she had something special!

But first she had to prove her mojo! Her magic o bobs! She found a good patch of grass a bit away from prying eyes, now you had some flowers sprouting, well she considered them flowers, she was sure most would call the English Daisy a weed, but she loved them! They were so pretty! Although they hadn't really grown yet, it was too early for them to do so still, usually they started coming out in March, they were her favourite flowers though! They were just so pretty and always reminded her of the happy months of spring and summer! But some were starting to rise up, and she would help them!

"Herbivicus." She whispered softly and waved her wand gently, okay so this was not transfiguration, it was a charm, but it was one she was so proud at having learned! Even if it isn't to its full potential of making them grow, she was just so happy that she could make them bloom. She had been practicing for a few days now and finally she made the daisy's bloom, it did sadden her a little, that they would wither before they should of, but it means any bees would be able to get pollen early from them and help the others grow wouldn't it? And it made the place prettier.

She was so happy at this happening, now she had her second task of the day, ignoring classes this was her task, to get better at transfiguration and to find ways to become an animagus. She hoped that when she found out, its something cute. She doesn't want to become a fish or something, a bird would be cool! She could fly around wherever she liked, able to get about anywhere, at the moment her closest way would to animate wax wings onto her back, unless you can transfigure yourself part bird...strong enough wings, extra adrenaline glands...better heart...that could be an area she goes down.

First though! She wanted to test her transfiguration, she had a plan, she muttered a gentle spell, she was getting better at making spells quieter! She wasn't sure if thats how you do wordless but it was nice to not have to shout everything. A small jolt of light flew from her wand and hit a small patch of grass, a few bits of grass turning into new budding daisy's, and it was beautiful.

Now she was onto her second task, it was somewhat dangerous what she was doing, after all brewing your own potions in secret is not something you wished to attempt usually, but inspired by her victory over Frank, she was willing to try anything now, although perhaps not on herself immediately. She wasn't that crazy, although she was somewhat sugar starved. Having not had a sweet delivery in a few days now and that bothered her. Either they were saving for a birthday surprise or cutting her off, maybe she would have to swap to caffeine like older kids to keep her awake, probably less side effects than constant sweet eating, although she wasn't sure Ravenclaw would appreciate her having caffeine...

She found her testing target! A spider wandering over the ground, usually they creeped her out. They still do in fact. But it would be a testing target for her potion, carefully brewed in a bathroom for a few days, it should be perfect, everything should be perfectly fine with it! She did her research and took the best parts of various potions and put them all together, what can go wrong with untrained random potion brewing?

She levitated the spider and then levitated a drop of the potion, bringing the two together so that the spider might drink or absorb it, thats how they work right? She was delighted with the results as it turned into a butterfly. It was working! Until the butterfly grew eight big legs, it fluttered at her with the giant legs! With an eeping cry she fell backwards, her hand slipping on the potion as she did, some hitting her face and getting into her mouth, she instinctively gulped with nervousness of the abomination she had made and backed away quickly, flicking the spiderfly away and relaxed...

OH NO! She started to spit on the ground in the hopes that she would not turn into a spiderfly but as she did so she realized, nothing had changed, she wasn't turning into anything, either it didn't work on her or such a small dose was fine, somewhat reassuring she wasn't going to turn into a crime against nature, she sighed and picked the now empty bottle up. She would have to record anything strange and her body for a few days to make sure she's fine, with any luck it does nothing or is just a positive to her, perhaps she might grow a bit! Not be so short and...thin.

She knew she might get brought up on it, and she was prepared to approach a professor to tell them she messed up. But until then, she let off a gentle purr knowing that nothing had changed with her, she started to head back, knowing that she would be missed in the great hall soon. She hoped there would be tuna for lunch...
