[January 11] And Fight the Break of Dawn (Tessa)

What...did he drink last night? The night was still a haze in his mind for now, he was sure it would slowly come back to him. For now however he needed to know where he was, it felt soft and comfy so it wasn't a bench, and that is a positive. Benches were never nice to wake up on, he would know, he's done it once or twice. So its a bed, its just what bed. The sun was pouring in gently and that meant it was morning, or mid day. He knew it was daytime, what day who was to say. Probably the following day really but again who was to say.

He last remembered playing pool with a few drinks...Tessa was with him he believed, so she stayed around for awhile, and he got some more drinks. It was hard to think of what happened with the pounding in his head. The night may be better if he never remembered, as sometimes it was better to never remember. But as he looked over the bed, he noticed a shape in the covers. Which meant someone else was there, and he didn't feel like having the awkward wakeup call of not knowing the other persons name.

He got out of the bed and stretched, part of the floor was burnt, not much but it was recognizable. This was his bedroom, for sure it was. And that was good, but still didn't answer much of what happened the previous night. Atleast it meant he could get around without any problems, so there was this. Finding his wand on the floor he gave it a small motion and obediently a jug of water came flying to him. It wasn't the greasy breakfast he needed for a hangover, but it cleared his throat so he could speak if needed and was the best way to start the recovery.

Slowly he sat back down on the side of the bed, he remembered playing pool, they chatted a bit more, most of the night still a blur, but he took Tessa home didn't he? He remembered leaving the bar with her at the very least. So she wasn't abandoned at the bar if he was reliable, he should of been experienced at this now the amount of times he has been drunk. Although surely this must be part of becoming an Auror, it was an investigation after all. Maybe it could help him find his clothing, whatever time he got in they obviously didn't close the window and he was extremely under dressed.

Deciding he wanted something to eat, he started to head out of his room. The other shape was still asleep, or so he assumed. Going to get toast wouldn't be the end of the world would it? He had everything hidden away, he was drunk not dumb. His brain racked to find other things he remembered about the night, after leaving they walked, he went home, they got in, he was with a girl last night...He doesn't remember taking her...

He stopped in his tracks. "Oh shit Tessa."
