It was sunny! Sorta! But it wasn't raining! It was a happily dreary day! The best sort of day! Well sunny was nicer, always nice to just have a warm sunny day and rest but today was still nice! Very comfy and happy, perfect day for some starbursts, or maoms, both are good. Pinballs maybe? It wasn't a chewing gum day. Maybe she needed something more sugary. She ran out of skittles awhile ago, what a cruel world where she can't enjoy skittles.

Tangfastics were the solution! Lots of sugar so good for her, and it was sour just like the weather!

Akira was happy today, she was happy most days. It was rare for her not to be happy. She was a happy girl. There was the incident of her running out of sweets for a few days, she wasn't happy then. But otherwise she's been happy. And with the business of her talking to cats over, its time to start on her studies of what else she can get herself tangled into. Maybe she can try becoming an Animagus again.

She was pretty sure she had it this time, she can't just do transfiguration on herself. So she needed to find the way to do it.

She thinks she knows who can help her. Now just to find him...

That was easy! She saw the figure she thinks it was! Now how to approach...a sneak attack? A sweet attack? Maybe just saying hi. But that sounded weird.

She skipped up towards them. "Hi! Uh...um...hmm...Ricrux?"

Rigel was walking around the lake thinking to himself. A Slytherin scarf was around his neck tied in such a way that it resembled a cravat. Rigel liked the old style of clothing, suggested by his long but tailored trench coat in a nice brown to accent his house’s color. One could see his vest behind the buttoned up trench coat. His striped tie tucked in neatly hiding from the weather. He had a book in his right hand, ready to plop down and read when he heard someone approach from behind.

He honestly thought it would be Lucinda, since they seem to be clashing heads recently. He found himself in front of Akira, the quirky Ravenclaw. She seemed to defy the laws of energy conservation. He has never seen her tired. Ever. He smiled at the thought and the mispronunciation of his name.

“Hey kiddo. It’s Rigel, I’ve seen you around but we’ve never been introduced.” He smiled and extended his hand. He felt weird doing that but it was second nature to him at this point.

She was right! It was Ricrux! She's a genius!

Well she was a genius, she knew that already. It was sorta hard not to know when she was herself and she was always a genius. It was genius to talk to cats, and genius to replace your entire diet with sugar. It never went wrong. Until she had sugar rushes or stomach aches, but those were rare. Depending on who was her sugar watcher that day, some didn't care enough to stop her using the entire jar of honey on her pancakes. It was bee vomit, what was the worst that can happen? Brave last words for someone within Aki range!

He was offering his hand, why did boys do that? It was weird. Adults too, why can't hugs work? It was boring just holding hands and all it did was hold! Adults are weird. Professors aswell, someone told her that Professor Storm was married, she didn't even know he was a person! She thought he was a sentient boggart! She almost felt bad for the birthday presents she sent him, and the gifts for his return to teaching. She plopped another Tangfastic into her mouth and suddenly she didn't care again.

What did matter was Ricrux, and how he became an Animagus. That was important! And she needed to know how. But-

DID HE CALL HER KIDDO?

"I'm not a kiddo!" She pouted, arms crossed over eachother. "I'm very mature, and I'm not a kid."

“Oh! Right, you are. I’m sorry, bad habit. What’s up?”

He felt bad, Rigel meant no offense. Made an earnote in his head to stop calling people nicknames on their first meetings. He quite ruined his first real impression.

Retracted his hand and accompanied the other in the pockets of his vest.

Akira popped another sweet into her mouth to calm herself, that was better! Things were happy again! It was a very much day of sweets make everything better day she decided. And she had plenty of sweets to help herself to. All hers, every last one. It was a shame her housemates stopped her from eating too many, you can't have too many!

"OH! OH! I heard you were an Animagus now! Is it true? What form do you take?" She asked excitedly, of course she may be completely wrong, she was going off rumours, she couldn't access the registry, which was a shame, she needed to find the registry and look in it at some point. Maybe her next plan.

"How did you do it? I've been wanting to see if I can turn myself into a kitty and sometimes I get part way there!" She added in a slightly rushed voice, she started rocking up to the top of her toes before standing normally again. This was exciting! A potential animagus! Now she'd have someone other then Ghosts, the Ghosts were getting annoyed at her, maybe because she kept asking how they died and what it was like to be trapped in a non corporeal body for all eternity.

“Oh, wow I didn’t know that was common knowledge. I guess it is bound to get out anyways. I studied a lot. I practiced a lot too. Well I can’t really tell what form I take yet, it’s either a thunderbird or a griffin.” He plopped his wand out and made a summer weather bubble for him to sit comfortably at the bench beside them. Rigel took off his coat and unbuttoned his vest so it wouldn’t bunch up when he sat.

“Would you like to study and practice together?” He asked with an excited inflection.

Akira looked thrilled and every excited! He actually was an Animagus! This was perfect there are so many things she could ask! What order to put them in though was the real question! What first was the important part! Can you fly was a good one! If thunderbird does that mean he's American? What is it like to be in an animal form! There was so much to do and ask it was overwhelming! She needed more sweets to calm herself!

She then turned the bag to offer Ricrux some sweets aswell. She was pretty sure she knew the first question, a very important question she had to ask or there was no point.

"When you transform do you make the animal noise?" She perked up. "Like when you finish turning into it do you make the noise?"

There were so many more questions, what else what else. "OOOO! If Thunderbird can you summon rain? Also isn't it really rare to transform into magical creatures? Who taught you how to do it? Do youknow anyotheranimagus? Howlonghaveyoubeenananimagusandwhendidyoustartontheleafasiheardyouneedtokeepinyourmouthforamonth?" She let out a gasp but seemed raring to ask more.

He laughed. She was quite an interesting person,

“You’re interesting.”

He thought about her questions, being so focused on how to achieve the end goal of transformation he never really stopped to wonder any of the things she wondered about. He’s never fully transformed yet, all that he knows is that he has wings and can fly.

“You can make the sound, it’s just learning how to walk and talk again. You’re put into a body that is, to say the least, extremely alien to you. You have to figure out how to play a different instrument? I guess that’s what I’m trying to say. Also I am not American, I’ve been studying what determines ones animagi but I haven’t really found a good answer yet.”

You could make noises! This was extremely interesting! Although did he have to say that about her? She isn't interesting, she's cute, funny, bouncy, loveable, sugar addicted, and interesting! She is a wide array of things not just interesting!

"So its like learning it all again...OOH Whats it like to eat in the body? Can you learn english? Oh oh! And are you restricted to that animals diet? Like if its a horse do you have to eat only vegetables and fruits?" She couldn't think of a worse fate then only eating vegetables. Imagine it...no strawberries...no cherries...pineapple...pear drops, toffee, fudge..what a horrible fate to be condemned to not being allowed candy floss.

But your form, she thought she read somewhere about a possible factor in it. She was fairly confident it held up. Just like all her other ideas and plans all hold up. "I heard that your animagus and patronus are often linked together."

Oh god, she talked really fast. Rigel smiled.
"Whats it like to eat in the body?"
"I mean, eating feels the same... I think. I never really thought about it really," he let out light chuckle.
"Can you learn english?"
"I'm sure some animals can, doesn't English require like specific muscles? We can try to learn English!"
"Are you restricted to that animals diet?"
"I mean, an animals body can only handle what its made or used to handling. I think when I was reading people could control specific areas that transformed? Like their stomach? I'm not sure. I'm sure if you changed into a dog, you can't eat chocolate... Maybe... We have a ton of experiments to try."
"I heard that your animagus and patronus are often linked together."
"I believe you are right! It's really rare and weird to have two different things."

She had so many more questions! There was so much stuff she could ask him about Animagus! But Now...she couldn't think of any more, she had so many and she could get all her answers, so what would she ask? She did not know anymore.

She popped another sweet into her mouth and rested down onto the grass. She was not sure now, she had sweets but didn't know what else she could do. She had him there, her face twisted a bit in annoyance.

"Hhhhm...questions..." She mumbled, allowing him a good break from her constant barrage of questions, but she was trying to come up with something new.

She took another sweet into herself and sighed as she attempted to catch a breather and come up with more invasive questions into Rigel's animal life.
