The letter is stamped to indicate it has been vetted by the Ministry. The handwriting is uneven, owing to relearning to write with a different hand.

Cyn,
Saw you’re published now, well, your letter
[1] was published in the Prophet at least. That’s heady heights I’d never expected to see you at.
Pretty shitty business, the Grants and their werewolf child. I can see on the one hand they’ve done it out of love and protection, but they were way out of their depth. The girl’s got to live with the outcome for the rest of her life. It’s going to be damned obvious who she is, not only for her departure but her reappearance.
Graves is damned good at what she does, but I don’t think the state ‘controlling’ the daughter is exactly the answer. Though, I don’t see anyone exactly volunteering to foster her.
Well done on kicking your daughter when she’s down though. First half of the letter, well put, second half, burn it. Is Hannah a ‘disabled monster’ too, and unworthy of a decent role? What would you prefer Ballentyne doe for the job she trained for. She’s not infectious if she follows the laws.
If you ask me, they Ministry were rather ticking the ‘brainless’ box when they offered
you your job.
You did say ‘someone need to take a stand against the nonsense’ and the howler back to this will be good entertainment.
Merry Christmas by the way! Consider this your Christmas card.
Brother dearest
