Physical Description:
Talisha has tightly curled red-brown hair, long neck, and an aquiline nose. Her golden brown skin is lightly freckled across her cheeks. It’s difficult for Talisha to assume a stern or intimidating expression, she’s just too blithely strange. Her left eye is a lighter brown than her right - it’s a magical artifact, a false eye that occasionally moves independently. She holds its true nature close to the chest, making jokes instead of shedding light.

Her hair is always on point, but her clothing always looks a little rushed and sometimes mismatched. She moves with a frantic fluidity and can speak very quickly.


Personality Description:
Around Level Two, the Wizengamot, and with her clients, Talisha has a reputation of apparently disorganized but surprisingly effective. She’s found an effective professional balance between being a bulldog for her clients without totally alienating those on the prosecution’s side.

She’s a bit silly, a little bit more creepy, and from time to time says something downright dark. Talisha’s not long on formalities.

Her oddball strangeness elicits a sort of tolerant friendliness from some, and the heebie-jeebies from others.

She’s familial with her clients, but rarely talks about her personal life.


History:
Talisha was born in a tiny wizarding village on the Isle of Man and has an older brother and sister. Both of her parents come from mixed magical families with some muggle ancestors. Talisha is multi-racial. Her father is White from the Derbeyshire area and her mother is Black from Leeds. She was a bit of a hat-stall between Gryffindor and Slytherin. She managed to do well at Hogwarts once she got serious in her seventh year.

After Hogwarts, she apprenticed in a small but prestigious magical law guild where she began her legal training. One of her first pratica was at the International Confederation of Wizards, and then from 1997 to 1998 she interned with the barristers at the Wizengamot under prosecuting attorney Theodora Kingstreet.

When her training was complete, she began working as a defense solicitor and slowly built up her own practice. She’s known for serving a shady clientele, but has never had any massively dramatic cases.


Describe your job duties and how you go about them:
Talisha Crowe represents her clients before the Wizengamot when they are charged with a crime or encounter other legal trouble. She’s constantly busy and a frequent visitor to Level Two, keeping an eye on her cases. Usually, she plays fair and only once did she get written up for a bit of false footwork. Her fees are typically affordable and when she has space accepts assigned defendants who can’t otherwise afford private representation.
