Ayla bustled around the local tavern thankful that she was able to put together this event, thankful the barmaid had been willing to help. Although it was a Saturday night, it was not a Hogmeade weekend. She wasn't supposed to be out of the castle but this was more important than risking a few detentions. The place was decorated a little more than usual - the usual fall and Halloween decorations were spruced up with fairy lights, little dangling pendants of the MLE symbols and the Ravenclaw Eagle. In a place of prominence was a large floral wreath surrounding pictures from her cousin's wedding. A silvery message underneath:
Remember my Heart, How Bright I used to Shine
Lucas Victor Hunter
April 29th 1974 - October 12th 2010
Ayla had spent the last few weeks arranging this little memorial party for her cousin. Although she had tried to regularly owl the older witch she knew drawing close to the anniversary of her husband's death would be hard for her and Ayla wanted to do something to help her through it. She had owled as many people as she could find that may have known Lucas to come celebrate his life. She wanted this to be a happy night, a joyous celebration, a gathering of friends and family remembering all the good times. She just hoped people would show up.
