A Howler flaps across Hufflepuff table to young Wesley Wold.

Listen up, kid! Clumsy Hufflepuff's are extremely valid! Break rules and topple expectations!

Though it is not signed, giggling down at the big kids' end of the table would be a clue as to the sender...

The howler burst into flames in front of him, splattering his porridge. It was the most amazing thing he'd ever seen.

Wesley let out a whoop, stood on his seat, and shouted, "I accept the challenge!"

Before he could topple over and exceed expectations like the Hufflepuff he was, he glanced around the table, figuring out who the gift-giver was by the abundance of her giggles. Zeta kindly showed him how to send a Howler, and off he was, his small shoulders squared, bearing the responsibility with a grin.
