The letter is hastily written on level two Ministry stationery, a small print at the bottom reads "From the Desk of Solomon Carstairs." It is delivered by an unfamiliar owl.To: Feliks Spectre, Hogwarts.FeliksI'm sorry we can't be there right this instant. You have, I think, already seen or heard of the article. It was a despicable act and I promise I am trying my utmost to deal with those who have penned it. I wish I could have protected you against this, Feliks, I wish it hadn't come to this. They've done a most cruel thing and I can't imagine how you must feel.Please write back as soon as you can and let me know if you are well, if you need anything at all. I will try to get in touch with Johann soon to see if Oma can come to you right away. I don't know if they've seen today's Witch Weekly yet.Don't forget - we love you very much. Your Oma should be back at Hogwarts by now - I'm sure she has showered you with all the hugs we would have, if we were there.
