Wand:  Nicola's wand is 6 1/2 inches, made of Almond wood. The Shaft is supple and decorated with a unicorn hair core. Nicola takes very good care of her wand, taking pride in it and polishing it every night, still amazed at the fact that she finally has a wand and terrified of breaking it like his brother Kelly did in his second year at school.

Physical Description: Nicola is slender with a delicate frame though she is taller than most her age. She has soft features that belie her age and while she has soft brown hair like her father, she has many of his mother's features. This gives her a rather angelic look and helps her make older than she actually is. Standing next to her older brother Harrison, many believe that she's the third child and not the youngest.

Nicola prefers to keep her hair short though still in a feminine style. The shorter hair has helped both while rough housing with her brothers and also while visiting the many Ranches and Breeding Centers of her family's company. It only takes getting Aethonan Meconium (Baby Flying Horse Poop) stuck in your hair once to keep you from wanting to keep it long. Not to mention shorter hair is easier to maintain and quicker to style while trying to look good on the go.

Much like her hair Nicola's style of dress is simplistic while still being feminine. When not in her school uniform she prefers muggle clothing to overtly complicated wizard robes though she has also enjoyed dressing up with her older more fabulous cousins and can't wait until she's a full grown woman like them (though she could probably do without Cadance's corsets)

Personality Description: Nicola feels divided when it comes to how she should act around others. With three (nearly four) older brothers she's used to hanging with 'the guys'. She can be rude, crude and basically a royal pain but she also spent most of her childhood on to go, shadowing her mother at work and attending many public events. She knows when to be prim and proper and those that have seen her out in public would never know that she could sling insults and swears with the best of them.

When it comes to friends however, well Nicola's never had many outside of her own family. She's close with all her brothers and has spent time with a few cousins here and there but she never stayed anywhere long enough to develop any meaningful peer relationships. Due to such she's not sure if she should be her prim and proper public self or her rude and crude self around those at Hogwarts. It also hasn't helped that her brothers have told her nothing but horror stories about the school just to spite her.

Nicola hates conflict. However instead of avoiding it, she picked up at a young age how to be diplomatic and even manipulative when it comes to dealing with them. Due to the many years she spent watching her mother being a PR rep she's learned how to diffuse situations, while also keeping every one relatively happy. Which can't always be applied to her fellow eleven year olds.

She's a dedicated and eager student, when the environment is right. Though she was technically homeschooled, Nicola never received any official education and has more street smarts than book smarts. The classroom environment is boring for her though she loves diving into and absorbing books. This will lead to her doing well with homework but having trouble paying attention and performing in class. Nicola prefers to either be learning through hands on work or independent study. Sitting and listening to lectures all day long is certainly not her preferred way of learning and is like to cause her problems.

History:

Nicola Was the fourth child born to Sheridan and Reed Bagnold, she was also the only child born out of the shadow of the Second Wizarding War, having been born two years after the death of the Dark Lord. Due to this, there was certain amount of peace to the family and Nicola wasn't coddled like her older brother Harrison - whom had been born abroad during the height of the war. This also meant that by the time Nicola was born her cousin Kyson had come to live with them. In fact as a child she believed Kyson to actually be her brother and has a hard time thinking of him as anything less (despite her brothers teasing her for thinking as such)

As a child Nicola traveled the world with her Mother and her brothers. From birth she was exposed to Magic around the world and how other cultures preformed it and treated it - specifically how they treated their native Magical creatures. Once she was old enough to talk properly and not be a bother Nicola began attending public events with her mother absorbing everything she did. Since her mother worked in Public Relations for their family's company Nicola learned to talk diplomatically from a young age, often using conflict resolution techniques on her brother's whenever the quartet got into trouble.

Nicola was thrilled when she received her Hogwarts letter, though it had arrived while they were visiting France - her brother's teasing that she was supposed to get a letter to Beaubatons instead. The rest of the summer was spent talking about the school, what she should expect and which house she would be sorted into. The twins were in Ravenclaw and Harrison was in Gryffindor. Her mother (and many of the Wentworth family) had been in Ravenclaw and her Father had been in Gryffindor. As far as Nicola was concerned it was rather academic that she'd be in Ravenclaw, though she was sure she'd do well so long as she wasn't sorted into Slytherin.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?:
Nicola doesn't exactly fit into her house. She was convinced that she was going to be in Ravenclaw leading up to her sorting and is certain that sorting hat had made a mistake. She's not sure how to get along with the other snakes while not giving into the preconceptions that all Slytherins are evil.

Fourth child and only daughter born to Sheridan and Reed, Nicola was decidedly treated differently than her brothers. Her father doted upon her, being Daddy's little girl. Her mother was simply thankful that she was born after the war and didn't coddle her the way she did Harrison. She has delighted in traveling with her mother and has attended as many events as she was allowed, shadowing her and learning what she can about being the public face of a company (at least as much as the eleven year old can comprehend) She is eager to join her brothers at Hogwarts and discover what house she'll be sorted into.
