He has a heart shaped face with a pointed jaw and his lips are slightly thin, but the edges always have a smile playing at them. He has tattoos down the right side of his neck. The tips of his ears point slightly but he tends to keep his hair over them to disguise this fact.
Although he was a Slytherin in school. He is half Veela. He has several traits that show this, He does have a bit of charm that draws both male and females near him. His robes are always well-kept silks, and even after class he will make sure there are not ay stains on them. When out of his robes, his clothing is of the best quality and form fit to show off his toned body which even to this day he works at keep in great shape.
Personality Description: Sebastian acts Cocky and somewhat aloof but those who get to know him realized this is most a mask to weed out those who are drawn to him by his vela blood. He smiles easy and seems relaxed most of the time. He does hold himself with an air of importance and his body language speaks of training in court style upbringing. He Worships The Tuatha Dé Danann (People of the Goddess Danu) And truly believes magic came from them first and was then given to man. This has made him look at some things differently, like pureblood status these days. He feels that any that have been given magic must have been chosen be Danu herself and therefore are worthy to teach and to call friend. This has been known ot put him at odd with others in his house. While he is an excelled potion’s master he doesn’t brag as much, he prefers to be humble about his accomplishments, but will not deny his knowledge or his achievements. He doesn't suffer fools or people who slack off instead of working. He tends to expect his house to do better and is often thought to be hard on his own than other houses. This has made him known to be sharp tongued. Quick to lash into someone not putting their all into it. However, to a person truly trying and failing he has unending patience and will always speak calmly to them and help. Once Sebastian has set him mind on a goal, he will strive to achieve it. This is where is you can truly see his Slytherin trait. He will not break rules per say, but will find loopholes to exploit, or allies who owe him a favor. And will only delay a goal until he can find a new way to reach it.
History: Sebastian Darkfall was orphaned at age ten. But was raised as any other pureblood family. He came to Hogwarts After his parents, and youngest brother were killed. His Godparents took care to make sure he still attended the school. While they themselves went to try and discover what happened to his family. For the most part they didn't not visit unless they must to keep him safe. Once the people who killed his family were caught they made sure he never suffered the same fate from people who hated him for his name. The Darkfalls were considered protective and even supportive of muggles and Muggle-borns in their community
In Sebastian’s Second year he tired out and became the Slytherin Seeker, his smaller frame and quick wits helped him more than once achieve catching the Snitch. However, he never let Quidditch stop him from doing well in classes, always pushing himself to make sure he got good marks. He stayed on as Seeker until his fifth year, He then became a Chaser, being bigger and more toned at that age made this a good move for the house and him. He also achieved top marked on Potions during his N.E.W.T.S. He was so good in his Quidditch positions, that he was offered a spot on The Irish National Quidditch team after he left Hogwarts. But he only was on it for a year. He decided to peruse his passion on potions.
After Quidditch Sebastian spent several years traveling learning of potions and herbs to expand on what is known and even started writing his own books. He has written three new ones that were well liked. His book “Countering love with love” Is still considered to be the premier work for love potions. He also did this to avoid the other Slytherins who were talking of the Dark Lord’s return. He moved back to Ireland and reclaimed his family’s home on Great Skellig. Turning part of it into a garden of his potions research. He was able to avoid most of the Second Wizard’s war by being there, but he did help assist the Auror’s in capturing a few Death eaters in the area and set up a temporary hospital at his home for injured wizards, using his potion knowledge to help. After the war was over Sebastian turned his house into a refuge for werewolf victims, learning and teaching them how the make the Wolfsbane potion. This became a spark in him where he discovered he loved teaching and started tutoring kids during the summer on potions. He even taught an adult class on newer potions and this was even mentioned in the Daily Prophet. After years of teaching and tutoring Sebastian heard about the Position of Potion Master opening at Hogwarts. He sent an Owl right away and began setting up a replacement tutor/teacher for his classes. He was accepted and even became the Head of Slytherin, hoping to steer them into a new view on blood and magic.

Writing Sample: Sebastian Darkfall poured the green liquid into the vials he had prepared. His hands steady as each one was filled. The sounds of the students coming in chatting and giggling was stopped with a simple look up. They silently filled the seats as he finished. “Hello class, please take you seat and study the two baskets on each of your desks by the cauldrons. I want all of you to pay close attention because I need you all to select a set of pristine fairy wings.” He watched as the students looked at the baskets, back and forth they went, pulling a wing out of each in some cases and trying to see what the differences was.
After a few minutes of this one student slowly raised her hand. Sebastian nodded to her “Yes Miss Klein?” She stood up holding a set of wings in each hand. “Professor Darkfall how can we tell which is a fairy wing? They both look the same.” Her voice was slightly frustrated. Sebastian chuckled and applauded lightly. “Very good Miss Klien! You are correct both baskets hold very similar wings in them. One of the most dangerous things in potion making is how close some ingredients apart. Ten points to Hufflepuff!” he walked to the main table and pull out a set of each wing. “Today we are going to make a Girding Potion, it is used to gain endurance for a prolonged period. As you can see however some of the things in it can be confused for something else, in potion making it is always important to not only know what you are making but how to tell which ingredients you are using. Please gather your ingredients now.” He pulled his wand and the ingredients appeared on the board.
One set of pristine fairy wings
One dozen doxy eggs
3 cups dragonfly thoraxes (Toasted)
Three flying seahorses
Once the class had returned to the tables he walked around checking each tables selection. “The Girding potion comes from the Irish Herblore of Airmid, and it is believed to be the accounting of the three hundred sixty-five herbs grown from the grave of Miach, and dates to the earliest accounting of potion making, back before the founding of Hogwarts by almost a thousand years.” He stopped in the middle of the room. “An anyone tell me who Airmid’s father was?” A young lad held up his hand and said. “Was it Miach?” Sebastian shook his head. “Anyone else care to prove if they have read theirs class book?” Another lad tried. “Airmid and Miach were the children of Dian Cecht.” Sebastian applauded. “Correct Dmitri, Ten points Slytherin for the extra knowledge. Yes, Airmid was the daughter of Dian Cecht and the sister of Miach. Her works comes from her study of the plants that sprouted from his grave after his death.”
Sebastian walked back to the front. “While some of her potions are still used today a lot of them have been lost to the ages. But we also learned from her, how to identify differences in the things we use. Take our fairy wings, I placed two baskets on each table on full of fairy wings and one full of Pixie wings, Cornish pixies to be exact. If you look you will see they are very similar but to a trained eye you will spot a few things right away.” He held up a set of wings. “A fairy wing is wider at the base than a pixie wing. Both shimmer but a pixie wing has small hexagon like patterns where a fairy wing has none.” He walked to each table show one of each wing, so they could all see these facts for themselves. “There are a few more things different of course, the pixie wing has a light dust on it but that falls of as they age so remember the first two things and you should be fine.” He turned and waved his wand at the cauldron, the flames below it roared to life. “Class, pour in two pints of the fresh spring water and then you are going to check through your baskets for a set of pristine fairy wing. Now keep in mind when I say pristine I mean pristine, damaged wings will cause your potions to be inert at best or even drain you of any endurance you have for a while."
He held up his wings again. “You want your wings to be clear of any creases, rips, or separating of the veins in the wings.” He watched as the class selected wings after careful inspections. “Once you add the wings, start heating the potion, while it is heating take three of the doxy eggs and crush them to a course powder.” He watched the class do this. “Now once the cauldrons turn turquoise, we will stir in the doxy eggs, counter clockwise for seven turns.” While they did this Sebastian walked around, checking the potions as they brewed. “Who can tell me why Miach was killed?” He asked the class. A young bright-eyed girl’s hand flew up “It was because his farther was jealous of how good a healer he was.” Sebastian nodded. “Excellent Miss O’Brien, Ten points Gryffindor. I expect you have heard this legend before. For those who haven’t Miach was able to do what his father could not. He was able to make a new arm of flesh and blood where Dian Cecht was only able to make a living silver arm. This spell is most likely what Voldermort use to regrow Peter Pettigrew a new hand. Dian Cecht was so enraged by this that he killed his own son. I see nowhe most of the classes potions are now pink, we are now going to add the first cup of toasted dragonfly thoraxes. Now we must add toasted ones, because the fairy wing doesn’t bind to the oils on the outside of the dragonfly thorax. Once you add them quickly stir clockwise until the color changes, is should be a rich blue if done properly.”
He checked few potions and helped correct a few errors here and there. “now add the second cup and stir one clockwise and once counter clockwise. It should snap to a kind of dull red, we will now nine intact doxy eggs and then the rest of the thoraxes. Add the thoraxes one at a time until the potions change back to blue.” He walked around the class again, inspecting the work as people added thoraxes. “Last we will add the flying seahorses in and then stir for a full minute.” As they stirred he went back to his own. “When Miach was buried Airmid wept at his grave, it is said her tears are what started the plants to sprout. She cataloged them as best as she could and set to discovering what each one did, but her father again became jealous upon seeing what was happening and scattered the plants to the winds. Airmid was able to record most of them however and her herblore became the first step into potions as we know study and practice.” He checked the time. “If you have done everything correct your potion should be an emerald green now. Please bring me a dropper full for inspection.”
One by one the students came to his table, most with a green stopper, some the color was wrong. He explained what each one did wrong and how to avoid it in the future. “Well done class, I advise you all to keep this potion in mind when midterms and finals are upon us and you need to study.” The bell rang, and the class headed out. Sebastian smiled and sat in his chair, checking each dropper as they left and began grading them.
Sum up your character in one paragraph: Sebastian is not hard to get along with. While he expects the most out of people he also knows people sometimes need help. He does what he can to help and tries to make sure that all the students feel ok with approaching him. He can be cold to those who are just lazy and expect because of status to get by with that alone.
