Tia glanced at the cat whose curiosity and polite affection had been roused by their exchange, giving him an equally courteous scratch behind his ears. She didn't especially like cats but being around cousin Ceph's illustrious Claude had helped them to grow on her in a way. They were very fickle animals.
"Would you tell me not to?" Hannah was quick to ask.
The other werewolf continued to speak, and Adrestia didn't interrupt. Especially when she described what it was like to have to fill up the dreaded form from the Lycan registry: the anger in her speech was evident, so it was good that Hannah was expressing it now instead of letting it build up.
She couldn't help but laugh at Bagnold's proclivity for silver, though. Merlin help the wizard or witch who had to deal with that hot mess.
"You're absolutely right." Tia gave the cat a final pat, stroking him from the back of his limber neck down to his protesting tail, and then finally turning her gaze back to Hannah. "And I think that campaigning is a really good idea. You've suffered injustices, you're well-read, you have an ally or two. Awareness can only do so much, the Ministry needs incentive to change."
For the time being, she decided not to remind the other witch that she was a criminal. Hannah's folder had described some of the things she had to do for Ira Almasy and Tia wasn't going to forget those facts anytime soon. She just hoped that stuff never made it into the papers.
"If you need help getting in touch with other werewolves or with level four paperwork, I'm only an owl away," she reminded her mentee with a smile and then glanced at the wristwatch. It was getting on. "I'd better run. Let me know more about your campaigning efforts," Adrestia got up and picked up her bag, slinging it over her shoulder. "I'm so glad you're focusing on this."
