    Physical Description:

Grimwold has a kind face that seems to have yet grown fully out of its childhood roundness. His cheekbones and his pointed chin are slowly getting there, but his cheeks seems to still be slightly puffed up at all times. He has protruding ears sticking out from brown ruffled hair. When he smiles his overbite becomes evident, but his face usually lights up with so much warmth that most people don’t care.

His eyes are the colour of dark chocolate, and always seems like they’re looking for something. Both his eyes and his eyebrows are narrow. His neck is long and slender, and can sometimes enhance the goofy look that Grimwold sometimes has. He has yet to put on any muscles, and is quite slim with slightly too long arms and legs that sometimes runs away from him. His skin is light and tends to freckle when sunkissed.

    Personality Description:

Grimwold likes exploring. And the more dangerous the exploring is, the more attractive it is in Grimwold’s eyes. The problem is that he doesn’t often realise that what he does might not be either the best thing to do, or even accepted. He would never say “rules are meant to be broken” because he never really sees the rules. Yes, of course he’s heard about them, but he never really pays that much attention.

He is a happy wizard, and it doesn’t seem like he has a hard time to make friends. And he wants friends - many of them. Because the more friends he’s got, the more people will come along on his next great adventure. He is kind, but can sometimes come across as unhelpful. That is not because he doesn’t care, he just sees other things than small subtle hints. Those usually pass straight by him.

Being a middle child has made him always feel a bit overlooked, even though he hasn’t been. That’s probably where his draw towards adventure comes from - wants to finally be recognised as someone great. And though he’s tried and tried again throughout his childhood to show himself as the daring young wizard he’s always known he is, it as more often than not ended up with his mother, scared half to death, telling him off. That’s what he wants to change.

Grimwold is good at school. He’s not amazing, and he’s not terrible, but good. The more a subject speaks to him, the better at it he is. After he found out that being a Curse-Breaker was an actual profession, he has strived towards it. That’s why he tries hard (even though he might not be the best at it) to succeed in the subjects that are most likely to further his career - History of Magic and Ancient Runes.

    History:

Grimwold grew up as the middle child in the Jorkins family. The Jorkins family had lived there for generations - his father Albert had grew up in the house they were currently living in, and so had his grandfather Edric. It was their home, and would probably always be. There he grew up with his older brother Granville and his younger sister Griselda. His mother, Primrose Jorkins née Bright, was a muggle-born witch who met his father during their years together at Hogwarts. They were a happy family.

During his childhood Grimwold got into more trouble than both of his siblings combined. He always ventured off from their home, going for adventures at the neighbours, or hunting porlocks in the forests. His mother always tried to calm him down, to read from story books about adventuring to still his thirst, but that did nothing but enhance it. The more he heard, the more he wanted to be like the witches and wizards in the books. Daring, courageous, and adventurous. The perfect wizard.

When he got his letter for Hogwarts his mother was both relieved and reluctant to send her son away. For one she was relieved that he would be looked after by not only herself, but a full roster of teachers. But on the other hand she was scared that all the excitement with a castle with no less than a hundred and forty two staircases would lead Grimwold away from studying. Unfortunately for her, her second inkling had been the right one.

To Grimwold Hogwarts was a treasure map that had to be explored. During his first year he managed to land himself in detention no less than three times. And each time he was just as surprised. What do you mean the Forbidden Forest is actually forbidden? Wasn’t that just a cool name?

By his second year most of the professors told his mother that he had calmed down. That wasn’t entirely true, as Grimwold hadn’t calmed down as much as figured out better ways to not get caught. In his head he still wasn’t breaking any rules though. In his head he just saw it as just another obstacle in the way of reaching his goal.

Coming into his sixth year he has his eyes set on his goal. “Grimwold Jorkins - Curse-Breaker” has a certain ring to it. So that’s where he is at now, trying to get his grades high enough for him to succeed. But then, of course, at the same time exploring every last nook and cranny of the Hogwarts Castle.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?:

When Grimwold is set on a goal, few things scare him to reach it. He loves the thrill more than the thought of actual danger. With that sense of danger, and without any thoughts on possible repercussions the Hat barely touched his head before it bellowed out “Gryffindor”. With this mindset he can also seem arrogant, and in complete disregard to rules, which according to some Slytherins also encompass the traits of Gryffindors. He loves adventure, doesn’t really see danger, and dreams of himself as a great wizard. A wizard that stares death in the eye without blinking.

Sum up your character in one paragraph:

Grimwold is a young wizard with an unsaturated hunger for adventure - big and small. With his thoughts so focused on his goal he often doesn’t think, or see, where lines should be drawn or where rules are set in place. He is not a bad kid, just sometimes too caught up in his thoughts of grandeur, but the professors doesn’t always see it that way. He’s been called a troublemaker on more than one occasion.
