[August 14th]What's my Brother Up To?[closed]

Sky was tired.  She had just returned home from a very fun two years travelling all over the place.  But international portkeys were hard to come by and she just didn't have the discipline to apparate all that way, so she had done things the muggle way. Airplanes were not fun when you had magic and couldn't use it.  It had been a very long flight, mostly because she had been in Australia and while it was fun, she missed her family and decided that it was time to go home.

She'd actually spent the majority of the past year in Australia.  She'd made some great friends and discovered that while her dear twin brother had all the artistic ability in the family, Sky had learned that she had quite a good singing voice.  She'd actually joined a band and enjoyed it immensely.  Too bad she was more confidant without her family around than she would be if she'd tried the same thing here.

Sky had written to Shade to let him know that she was coming back and he'd graciously offered to let her crash at his place.  He'd sent her a key and everything so that if he wasn't home, she could just let herself in.  Shade was actually the first person she wanted to see, but at this moment, the only thing she wanted to do was go and take a nice long nap.  Besides, she knew that Shade would just try and either talk her ear off about all her adventures and the things she had seen, or try and persuade her to go home and see their parents.  Neither of which she wanted to do at this moment.

She found his door and knocked, waiting for a moment before turning the key and letting herself in.  She'd shrunk her baggage and it was currently residing in the front pocket of the coat she was wearing as she hung it up on the coat rack. Her face broke into a smile as she thought of taking over her brother's bed while she was here, but one look at the couch in the living room and she immediately sat down and took off her shoes.  Barely having enough time to rest her head safely on a pillow, Sky was out like a light.
